I was very disappointed with the service I received at Firestone in Stone Mountain, Ga I brought my car in for alignment, afterwards, my vehicle ran worse than before, when I returned, the manager informed me they could not properly complete the alignment because other repairs were needed first, My concern is why wasn't I informed of this before I paid for a lifetime alignment. The regional manager was informed and I was told I would receive a TOTAL refund however, the manager is now attempting to refund me a PARTIAL refund.I have been trying to resolve this since May 2026. I do not recommend the Firestone location on memorial in Stone Mountain Georgia. I believe there practices are unethical and I am seeking the full refund that was promised. read more

I visited the Firestone on Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, GA, today for a minor inspection/diagnostic, and my experience with the front desk employee was extremely disappointing. I arrived before several other customers, yet I was made to wait an excessive amount of time while multiple people who arrived after me were taken in and serviced first. There was no explanation, no communication, and no attempt to address the unfair wait. I was essentially left sitting until almost everyone else had already been helped. My service request was small and straightforward, yet I was treated as if my time did not matter. Because of the long, unexplained wait and lack of communication, I am now left questioning whether the work I came in for was even performed. When I asked questions, the front desk employee was dismissive and unhelpful, offering no clear answers and showing no concern for how unreasonable the situation was. This made the experience feel unprofessional and disrespectful. Firestone is a national brand, and I expect fair service, basic courtesy, and transparency -- especially when customers trust you with their vehicle. Unfortunately, that standard was not met at this location today. The technician's results may have been fine, but the front desk behavior and customer handling can completely ruin the experience, and that is exactly what happened here. I hope management takes this incident seriously and improves front-desk accountability and customer service practices, because this experience makes it very hard to recommend this location or to return. read more

Do not come to this location! I came in for my 9am appointment to determine why my car was making a sound . After the diagnostic test they determined that it's the axial which will cost roughly $600 to fix. I agreed. A few hours went by of the car just sitting, no one activity doing any work on the car. Then I see an auto technician banging into the tire area with what appeared to be a hammer. I then began to ask questions because it was now after 2pm . So basically I've been here from 9am -2pm with no solution to the issue my car is having . During this time , I wasn't even offered a bottle of water. Nothing. Currently I'm still waiting .....Save you money and time. This has been a waste of my entire day. Update: This went on for hours so finally I decided that I just wanted to have my keys returned and leave in my car since no work had been done on the car from 9am-4pm The attendant refused to give me my car and stated that it was "not drivable ". At that time I was forced to call the police because he refused to give me my car back. The police arrived and magically the car got lowered from the machine and my keys were returned to me. read more

Their customer service is 100% the best at the Memorial Ave Firestone. Ryan is on it! He helped me from the time I called to price brake rotors and pads until he rung me out. Not only did they beat everybody's price, they offered a special and could book me to get there right away. Ryan had to get the rotors from the warehouse and they were waiting for me when I arrived. They worked my job in immediately. It seemed like everyone who walked in the door was an old friend. They know cars AND how to treat customers. read more

My mom and I purchased a battery for each of our cars in October 2025. Our Service Advisor was Michael (Mike). He was professional and friendly. He informed us of the available discounts/coupons on batteries. I was so appreciative because most people having car problems do not have time to research about coupons. That was so helpful. He also informed us about the different options for our batteries; from economical to higher value. Mike told us about other recommended services. He was informative; not pushy about the recommended services. We declined; but they were detailed on our invoice. With no appointment, our walk-in wait time was minimal to install the two batteries. l've had my bad experience with Firestone. They're biggest scam in auto shop industry. Nobody should ever go there. they will tell you about problems that don't exist and charge more than anybody else. It's a big company that wants money and they will get it even if they lie to you. I got there at 7am. I didn't have an appointment but I did arrive before most of the staff and techs. I was told I shouldn't be there more than an hour. With no techs I completely understood. I know the main manager who is there all the time saw me when I walked up to the door at 6:55a because he was able to tell me they were still closed. No one had the customer service skills necessary to ask how long I was waiting and tell me the wait may be longer than expected. I even saw customers who arrived after me leave waaay before me. It's like this almost every time I come here, appointment or not. I've learned my lesson and will go out of my way to find a Tires Plus in the future! Okay. So the service I received at Firestone was good customer service, very responsive and timely. The people who work there are nice. However, I took my car in to get the battery tested because my gauge had been getting lower than 14 and something did not seem right. The test they ran came back with the conclusion that the battery and alternator were fine and my car was just old. Than I got stranded on the interstate with a dead battery. So obviously something is not right. I got a replacement battery at Walmart after it tested bad. Than everything seemed fine until my brand new battery started to drop voltage too. Time to take it to my mechanic who just confirmed it was my alternator so Firestones test was completely wrong and I will not be taking it there again. Before I could even come in for services, it took a long time to get someone on the phone to verify an appointment I scheduled online. Upon calling Mr. D, whom says he is the manager, kept placing me on hold after multiple calls to the location. I went here to get my tires rotated, balanced, and an alignment. They advised me to just get an alignment so I agreed. It took them literally FOREVER to start on my car. I was there for at least 45 minutes for an alignment. read more

I went in for an alignment and two new tires. They completed that service with no issues, but when I left I was missing two brand new rooters and brake pads from my front end that I had when I came in with. I had bought four sets of rooters and pads back in January from a different auto shop. I told them that and they made it seam as if I did not know what was on my car. They tried to blame the other shop. As if I wouldn't make sure I had all four brakes done before I left the other shop. They are a bunch of theives, don't go here!!! read more

I was in and out here! They were busy so of course you cant expect to be out within a hour! I was only there for about a hour & 10 mins but they have free wifi so that helped kill the time! I came here for a tune up but I was told I needed more than that! The technicians are not only knowledgeable but the store manager as well! He told me what I was getting done and pointed out the things I needed to be aware. I was happy that I was informed on the other things rather than just getting my car serviced and leaving! I went to get my oil changed the lady quoted me and hour and a half. All I wanted was an oil change. The guy checked in right behind me was told 45minutes wasn't aware of this because they spoke Arabic the whole time. I found out because I overheard him talking to his daughter in English a little later. Also they attempted to overcharge me and upswell everything. It was a terrible experience and really don't appreciate the favoritism by foreigners to each other. Pretty sad excuse for a corporate company. Thank the lord for Yelp, and Google reviews without these businesses such as this ( the FireStone Franchise) would continue to mess people over. Well my problems began way back in 2012 when I purchased my old Ford Focus. Well one day my power steering pump gave out on me. At the time I didn't knew much about mechanic shops, especially the ones that's screw you over so I took the risk by bringing my car to FireStone and that was the biggest mistake in my life. After bringing my car to this location the mechanic told me that they had no idea what was the cause of my steering wheel being difficult to turn. So they'll have to fix my car based on the process of elimination, which means they'll start off with the pump, then they'll work on the power steering pressure line and finally the racket pinion. After they returned my car after the vehicle inspection, my car began leaking power steering fluid and keep in mind it only had the issue of being difficult to turn. I took it to another mechanic shop, and the mechanic told me that someone broke your reservior. So I contacted corporate and informed the district manager of my issue (Jason Rose) man they sent me some coupons and I took it to the Stone Mountain location to get fixed and dude they never could get the pump fix at all. The staff was incompetent, management was poor, the technicians had no idea what they was doing and they kept trying to up sell me like crazy on their credit cards and I thought it was observed. They would recommend things I did not even need such as new shocks and struts for my car. Terrible place to get your car service and trust me you'll be back to get many things fixed on your car and sometimes even the same stuff fixed. Because I truly believe they'll sabotage your car so they can continue to have a steady source of revenue. read more

Very spotty service....I was quite pleased the first time I went there for an oil change. The service I received was very professional and the people couldnt have been nicer to me. I made the appointment online and was in and out in under an hour, and it was busy that day. This time the person behind the counter couldnt of been ruder, she couldn't care less about me. I had an engine treatment I brought in that I like to put in my van with high miles and asked her if they could fill it a half a quart low so I could put it in. Last time I had it changed here they brought me back to the bay and had me put it in and then topped it off to make sure it had enough oil in it. Great service....not this time. This time I was standing there as the van was being pulled out and said to the lady, what about the oil treatment? She said we cant put it in you have to do it....I said I know but the last time I was here they had me do while it was still in the bay so they could make sure and top it off after I did it. She just said oh and didnt do anything like it was too much trouble to get the guy to bring it back the van back in. Once I went back to pay she cashed me out and just rudely handed me the receipt, not one word to me, not a thankyou, not a come back and see us....not even eye contact. I actually had to ask her after she handed me the receipt...is that it?? I wasnt even sure if the transaction was completed....she mumbled a yes or something and I just walked out. Firestone has just about lost me as a customer for good, I never write reviews but that experience was so bad I came right back home to warn people. There are a lot of places I can bring my vehicles for oil changes and repairs....a lot...especially in this town. WARNING! When I went to this store for tires, I was told I also needed brakes and an alignment. Since I'd just had the car completely serviced, I called and learned the brakes, in my shop's opinion, were fine for now. I did however have the alignment performed though I had not noticed any alignment issues. After RETURNING THREE TIMES, because my car was now either drifting far right or left, I was told the third time - "Well, it's right now, but it may still drift on 'some' roads, but not on most." Deciding they both didn't know what they were doing and obviously thought me an idiot, I took it to a different Firestone. I was immediately told that Firestone does not align MERCEDES OR BMW's, does not have the equipment to do so and that I should NEVER have been sold an alignment. The new store arranged immediately to pay for me to have the car properly aligned at my dealership. In short, don't trust the Stone Mountain store for anything but tires. read more
