I had a slow leak in my tire, took it here to get it checked out. They discovered I had a nail. They mounted the spare and gave me a quote on replacing 4 tires. I decided to shop around for better price. They didn't charge me and did a great job and provided good service. read more

April 7, 2026 To Whom it may concern, This is a formal complaint that I am filing with one of the Firestone locations. Specifically, Rock Hill SC and or Two Notch location. On 10/9/2021 I had my car towed to the Rock Hill location for an engine failure. After an engine diagnosis it was determined that the reason the engine failed was due to a failed engine coil and spark plugs. After this issue was corrected and paid a lot of money to fix the issue I was on my way. On 12/6/2022 again I was towed to this location for the same issue. This time it was failed engine coil number 2 and number 3. Once AGAIN spent a lot of money to replace the parts and was on my way. On 3/29/2023 I went to another firestone in Columbia Two Notch Road to have another engine coil replaced. Almost a year later 9/27/2023 Rock Hill location, once again money spent to replace the parts with the same exact issue and had the final coil replaced. All 4 at this point have been replaced again I paid a lot of money to have ALL replaced and would never have to run into the issue again if I had this car. On 3/28/2026; my car again had the same engine issue, and the firestone in the Sumter SC expressed to me that the coil that failed was under #3 the SAME part that I paid a lot of money to replace 12/6/2022 at the Rock Hill location. I explained to this location that it is not possible that the coil failed as they were all replaced and several hundred to over one thousand dollars have been spent to correct the issue. This location provided me with the actual part that failed and stated that if the part was replaced it would NOT have the Toyota emblem on it. They stated that the location that claims to have replaced it either gave a refurbished part (after market) or did not replace it at ALL. I now have the part that FAILED that the store sent me home with so I can formally file a complaint. They stated the others are new and have all been tested at this point. I want to express that I am extremely upset at this point because AGAIN spending hundreds to replace a part that I was assured was replaced at the Rock Hill location. The Sumter store pulled all receipts, and I went back through all the emailed receipts of paperwork and invoices and in the papers it does in fact indicate that it is the one that failed and paid to have them replaced. That day of repairs, I did not pay for a refurbished part (s); I paid for a new one with a lot of time and money spent back and forth. The Sumter location also assured me that if the prior locations did replace them as they should have that there would be NO WAY that ANY of them would have died this soon. I got my first car in 2005, and it was a 1997 Malibu, and I since then have transitioned to a 2013 Toyota Corolla and have been going to Firestone for many years giving THOUSANDS of dollars and I never turned business away from this company and have spoken very highly. After this encounter, this WILL BE the very last time I go to any other Firestone in the future. Someone was NOT very honest and ripped me off, allowing me to spend money to replace parts and they failed to do it the proper way. Knowing that I cannot see in the engine to see if it was all done correctly. I have reached out to corporate multiple times, they stated to and I have screenshots to share of the conversations that they have sent information over to the area managers. After 2 weeks I reach out again and they stated the case was closed no emails no phone call. I called the store in Rock Hill the manager at the store stated that the Sumter store provided false information and if they really feel like Rock Hill messed up, they wouldn't have charged me for any other work, they are all under the same umbrella. To have the Sumter store Call him. Corporate opened the case again and again notified that they have closed the case again. I asked for my money back on that part that was replaced and each of them are throwing me back and forth with each other. They have officially lost a customer of 20 plus years thousands upon thousands of dollars. I refuse to give a referral of customers to any firestone. read more

Scheduled an appointment on 2/26/25 for 3/1/25 for six tires on our 2004 Dodge 3500. I was called this morning and advised the store was unable to provide the service because their lift could not lift a dually. I advised they put tires on this truck in the past and asked if they had a jack. Was told it leaks down and it's a safety hazard. Not sure what lift you have but all the pickups have basically the same frame 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton. Although this truck is a bit heavier that. 1/2 ton. My lift at home picks up the truck with no problems. Buy a new jack maybe. I'm perplexed and I guess purchase my tires elsewhere. read more

Came in for loose steering. Told me it was upper control arms. Ordered new ones! They attempted to put them in then told me they wouldn't work that I needed extended control arms. Sent the old ones back and ordered new extended control arms. When they new ones arrived they didn't even attempt to put them in. They looked at the new extended control arms and told me they wouldn't work. Why was I told to buy those specific parts to only be told later that they don't work? So unprofessional! The guys in the shop act like they don't know what they are doing! read more

Called first thing on a Sunday morning for a flat tire. Derek told me to bring it in. Had my 4 kids with me. They didn't have the tires in stock, but Derek price matched what it showed they had in stock online. Derek then proceed to give all of my kids bubble packs, which made the time go by quickly, even though we were in and out in less than 50 minutes for 2 new tires. Derek was fantastic from start to finish, and very accommodating. read more

My car was making a noise but not all the time so I figured I would go here to get it checked out. They didn't even look at it, just listened. Didn't even run any codes or anything. Straight up told me I needed to start looking for a new car. (I had just bought this car) I was literally crying. I found another place to look at it & it was just a $160 fix. The price for a diagnostic is way overpriced compared to others in the area. The people there were nice until they called me about the estimate. They tried to charge me 88 dollars for a part that is 25 dollars at Advanced Auto Parts. (Plus a huge labor fee). I explained that I would not accept those prices and would be getting it fixed elsewhere. They hung up on me. When I got there to pick my truck up, they had reset everything. Without the check engine light being on, I can't get the truck fixed anywhere else. I also could not get a copy of the diagnostic, so now, when I go somewhere else I have to pay for another one. I do not recommend this place to anyone who likes their wallet. read more

We have been to Firestone on several occasions, and each visit is worse than the last. The first visit, they told us the battery on our brand-new Mazda 6 was dying and we needed to replace it. We took it to the dealership, who tested the battery and showed us it was fine. We went back to Firestone with our 2010 Kia Soul, and had new tires put on. The tires weren't put on correctly and the steering wheel shook when we went over 40 miles an hour. We went back and had them reinstall the tires correctly. For some reason, we took the Kia back again for an oil change. This time they told us that we had a cracked timing belt that we needed to get replaced ASAP. Due to their poor history, we took it to another mechanic who said our timing belt was fine. Moral of the story - don't go here. read more

I guess I'm dumb because I keep going back here. I originally took my vehicle to Goodyear a week ago and they told me that the cv axles need to be replaced. I said that's funny I had Firestone replace them 2.5 years ago. FYI out of warranty by 5 months but the part is covered for life. So I take it to them and they say nothing is wrong. Mmmm that's funny because Goodyear says they need to be replaced. So someone is lying or they both are incompetent. Anyway I pick up my car and get told this and they say the cv axles are fine and there is a leak coming from another part. I got no explanation or quote to fix. That's weird thought they where in the business of fixing cars. So don't go here they are trying to screw you or they just don't want to stand by their work or their parts. You can see my review from last time where I brought this to their attention months ago and did nothing. They suck Hope they read this and call me and Goodyear so we can find out who the liar is. Very poor customer service. I will not recommend nor will I ever be back. I usually get good service at Firestone stores. But not here.

Rich was extremely helpful! My daughter goes to school in Rock Hill but we live in Greenville and when she had car trouble she took it to Firestone. Rich worked with my husband over the phone and figured out what the issue was. He knew we were tight on money (my daughter is in college) and even came up with some coupons for us to help lower the total cost. On top of it, they even did the extra emergency brake line for free since they were in there. Great customer service considering we don't even live in that town and the work was done quickly. Now my daughter can get around again and we're not in debt as we thought we would be. THANK YOU RICH! read more

My car has a warranty through another company and I had problems with it that made me feel unsafe about driving it to my regular dealership. The staff did an amazing job with my repairs, keeping me informed, and working with my warranty company. I may have to think twice about driving all the way to Charlotte for any future repairs and service! read more

When I arrived the guy at the front desk was very personable. They had a decently priced coupon online for an oil change (my reason for coming), however they took almost and hour when there was only one person was here before me. Only three stars because I dont have the time to spend. If you have nothing else to do then feel free to come sot and watch there 19inch tv on the national geographic station. read more
