I used to go to take five all the time. I was a fan favorite until recently. I went a few weeks back and they were pretty busy that was to be expected with the time and day I went. I went in for a simple oil change which I did receive, no problem. The problem where the issue lies is that I was driving one day and heard my splash guard scrapping ever bump I hit. I took my car to Honda and they said that the last people who did my oil change did not put all the bolts back into the bottom plate. So not only was I missing the screws that they didn't put it back they almost damaged my car. If it wasn't for me checking after I pulled over I would have done more damage to my car. I will no longer be going here for a quick and fast oil change. read more

**DO NOT USE TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE ON IN ROCK HILL SC** On Monday, we took our daughter's car in for an oil change and paid $91 (including tip). The next morning, my husband started the car and oil immediately spilled all over our driveway. He quickly realized the oil filter had been left loose. Thankfully, he caught it in time, replaced two quarts of oil, and cleaned up the mess. Had our 16-year-old daughter driven the car, the outcome could have been much worse. I called the shop and spoke with the manager on duty, who was polite and apologetic. I simply requested a refund. He took my information and said a check would be mailed, and asked my husband to follow up with the store manager the next day. When my husband called on Wednesday, the store manager claimed the previous employee "misspoke" and said refunds couldn't be issued without inspecting the car. When asked if he truly expected us to drive a car empty of oil to him, he suggested he could have come to us--implying we should have left our car undriven and without for a day over a $91 refund. My husband requested a call from the area manager, but two hours later, no one has followed up. I just called back and spoke to the same manager-on-duty as before since the store manager has left for the day. I asked for the area manager's phone number, and he would not give it to me. At this point an employee royally screwed up on Monday, another employee "misspoke" on Tuesday, and on Wednesday I still have a stained driveway, no refund and what could have been a severely damaged Toyota Highlander--avoided only because my husband caught their mistake in time. read more

Just left a really positive experience at this location. I went in super scared that people were going to try and upsell me on everything but that was not the case. The workers were kind, respectful, and super fast. I was third in line in a bay 3 cars wide, each with at least two cars. Despite it being busy, the whole thing took 10 minutes tops! They offered bottled water, put air in my tires, and topped my fluids. The best part is that they didn't try to force me into any upsells. I got everything I needed for just $50, which is a great value. They were kind and they made a returning customer out of me. Great job guys!!! read more

We stopped without an appointment and were greeted right away with the best customer service we have ever experienced. The service tech came out and offered us ice cold bottled waters and Capri-Suns for the kids. We entered the service garage/carport area and a team of about 4 techs were just on it. They always offer water and explain what they are doing; check and top off all the fluids; make sure your tire pressure is good and do it quickly. I drove up to have my oil changed and the service tech greeted me with a smile and an ice cold bottle of water. The service tech gave me my options on oil changes, showed me my air filter (said I could go a couple more oil changes before installing a new one) and took the time to educate me on how to reset my oil gage. The way the coworkers communicate with each other while working on other vehicle's (for safety protocol) is awesome. The facility was clean and organized and the price is very reasonable, includes topping off oil in between oil changes. Awesome group of service techs, will be back! read more

What's happened?! I have been coming here for years and I LOVED this Take 5! I've tried other Take 5's and they aren't the same. But the last two times I've been, something has changed. Last time, the guy who is apparently the new assistant manager (not sure) tried to upsell me and things just felt scammy and off. Today things were done in record time, so fast it makes me question the quality. And then when they ran my credit card, he handed it to me and it asked for a TIP. Are you kidding me??? Getting your oil changed is one of those adult responsibilities that no one really enjoys, but these guys take all the hassle out of it and they do so with a smile! I am been in rock hill about a year now and finding a place to get your oil changed has been an exercise in futility. The Walmart oil changes take forever and a day and many of the drive-thru places are so slow they have you sitting around waiting and waiting. I have been in and out with great service every time I goto Take 5, with every vehicle. Sometimes it is very busy and at those times there seem to be extra people on staff to handle the extra business. A rare gem of an owner and manager to staff more people for more customers. I wish many of the restaurants around town managed to fill an order in the same amount of time and quality on a busy night or a slow one. read more

First time here. I pulled in at 11:56 and there was a car in the bay and 1 behind it in my lane. Other lanes were similar. The service and price and things were fine...but it was definitely not 5 minutes. Not sure how long the one in the bay had been there but to finish them and then the car in from of me and me took a long time. Left right at 1:15p. I was in a slow lane because in the lane next to me, a care came and went through and left before I ever entered the bay. They have coupons online which is a plus. It also is still faster than Walmart or the like. But I had to skip lunch since I was on my lunch break and was still late back to work. read more

Okay. This place impressed me. I wasn't expecting it to be like it is. I thought it was like a Valvoline drive-up place where you get out of your car and wait. No. You stay in your car the whole time the oil change is being done. They even offer you something to drink (gratis) while you wait. They are FAST. They emphasize that they will be done in about five minutes, which I found hard to believe since they had a line of folks waiting to get an oil change, three rows wide. But they had the manpower working there to get the job done quickly. They were friendly and communicative about the process when I told them it was my first visit. They walked me through what to expect and shared everything that they did for the car. Oh, remember to look online for a coupon for them because there always is one. I got $10 off the synthetic blend oil change. $10! That's pretty good. You don't have to print it or even have them scan it. You just need to show your phone to them so they see that you found it online and then they give you the credit for it. I will be back. :) read more

I've been going there for about 3 or 4 times until last 2 weeks ago, they change my audi a4 and they forgot to put back the screws which I found out after 2 days. I was out of town for wrk & no chance for me to come back to RH. The place wasn't even busy at that time around 10 am. It costs me $100 to replace the screws and parts that fell off since they forgot. They like to screw it then so be it. I 'll never fucking go back there ever again. The past two times with two different cars, they have messed up on our cars. They went to check the air pressure in mine and realized they were nitrogen filled. They didn't put my caps on good and lost two. They also didn't reset my daughter's information in the car that she got an oil change. It set off sensors in her computer.
