My car was making some weird sounds and I had to leave it there for a few days so they can look into it. They found some other maintenance work I needed so I chose to do some other services as we couldn't figure out exactly where the other noise was coming from. I took the car home and the other noise came on again on the freeway so I recorded it and emailed it to them. I dropped my car off the next day and also spoke to the owner Tony who is a great person. He was very patient, calm and ended up finding out what the issue was, and got it all fixed for me. It was nice to work with Daniel, the Service Manager, and Tony, the Owner and help find out exactly what was going on with my car. I really appreciate their customer service and honesty. Daniel was very helpful and clear in communication. I was happy to talk to the business owner Tony who was very kind, patient, understanding, honest and I love the fact he was willing to take time to have a conversation and get to know each other as people. I like getting to know the actual business owner so I know who we're supporting in business. And Tony and team have definitely earned our business. I brought my 2022 Subaru Crosstrek here for a second opinion…read moreafter a local dealership tried to scam me into a $2,000 "engine teardown" and thousands in unnecessary cooling system repairs. The team at The Garage was professional, honest, and technically superior. While the dealership claimed my radiator and hoses were failing, The Garage actually tested them and proved they were in perfect health. Instead of guessing, they performed a resistance test and found the real culprit: a faulty VVT Oil Control Valve. It is rare to find a shop with this much integrity. They didn't just fix my car; they inadvertently gave me the evidence I needed to hold the dealership and corporate accountable. If you want a mechanic who values honesty over a quick buck, take your car to The Garage. They have earned a customer for life! Also shout out to Daniel - super great to work with and very kind.

    Found Gary's through Yelp because I was searching for a place that would accept a "walk-in" oil…read morechange for a decent price. So the place I was hoping to go to that's super cheap could not have my vehicle in until another week and a half. I tried to schedule it sooner but was told the wait time would be 45 minutes to an hour. Neither the wait nor the date could work for me, and I'm so glad it didn't because I wouldn't have found Gary's! Gary's was able to see me the same day without making an appointment, and the whole process was literally 15 minutes. Not only did they change my oil, they also washed my windows and vacuumed the interior--both complimentary! Needless to say, I am very impressed with the service I received at Gary's. They really went above and beyond my expectations, so much so that I'd be more than happy to pay a little extra to continue going to them in the future for my oil changes. The icing on the cake was when the person (didn't catch the name... shame on me) who rang me up sent me on my way and thanked me by name. (Since I work in the customer service industry, I have to give shoutouts when I receive genuine customer service!) Way to go to the team at Gary's--incredibly impressed!

What I really appreciated was that as soon as Scott saw me come in - he came to the counter and said "I'll be with you in a few mins". I really like when people recognize me when I enter and don't ignore me until it's my turn. Makes me feel valued! My oil change went smoothly, I believe my car was looked at for more than 15 mins unlike most other places I go to so that made me feel like they were being really thorough. However I wasn't expecting it to take two hours from when I arrived to when I left. I'm not sure if they are always running late/slow or if this was a special occasion (first time here) but I was a little frustrated towards the end that it took that long. When I finally did get my keys Scott gave me a discount because it took so long and I really appreciated that. With the compensation for having to wait and the friendliness of the staff I'd give it a 5 as far as where to get your oil changed! I've gone to a lot of places and most places are the same, this one is one of the few I like. However - I'd recommend they get some snacks in the lobby for the customers who were there longer than me! I was hungry when i left and most places have something people can eat! :)

    **WARNING* this goodyear tire store IN RENTON is consistently negligent and will cost you time and…read moremoney. I have been a loyal Goodyear customer for 40 years. But the product and services have been sharply declining with little/no concern from the stores or corporate (similar issues that resulted in the fall of Sears & Roebuck). On schedule, I had my tires rotated on 3/3/25 at the Renton highlands store where they did not replace the center cap securely on one of the wheels. It fell off and the store had zero interest in taking responsibility. So, I wrote to Kimberly Roy at Goodyear Corporate who pushed the company into paying $83 for the lost cap that I had to replace. THEN, I had my tires rotated again at this same store on 11/6/25. Same manager and same problem with poor workmanship. Shortly after this rotation, one of the caps fell off, again! I reported it to the manager (Jorge) who would not take responsibility, so I wrote to Kimberly Roy again. This time, neither the store, nor corporate were willing to take responsibility, probably thinking "I" was the problem. I replaced the cap as quickly as possible and TODAY, May 4, 2026, the cap still rides securely in its place (picture attached, taken May 2, 11:10 am). I stopped buying tires from Goodyear because of horrible service and products. Les Schwab, a truly great customer service company with great tires and warranties, recently offered to rotate my "Goodyear" tires for free because I bought truck tires from them and will buy Les Schwab tires for my Buick as well when needed. Incidentally, one of the Goodyear tires on my Buick also must have a bad cable or other defect, because neither Goodyear nor Les Schwab can get the vibration out of it. The Goodyear shop "claims" they cannot feel the vibration and refused to replace the tire. I have been extremely impressed with the service and tires at Les Schwab. Goodyear is not paying attention and does not care. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH GOODYEAR AGAIN - I SUGGEST YOU TRY LES SCHWAB EXCELLENT SERVICE AND TIRES...YOU WILL ALWAYS DO BUSINESS WITH LES SCHWAB.

    Not good not good service at all... I recently had my brake…read moreservice for my Infinity QX60 at the shop and I am not happy about their service. 1) I had pads replaced cost about $1000 2) Took a car home and heard noise after a week. 3) Took a car back and learning that the back brake pads had quality issue and damaged the rotors. 4) Replaced rotors (additional $250) 5) Took a car home and still had the squeaky sound issues. 6) Took the car back and they couldn't figure out where the noise came from. They did a small adjustment and hoped it worked. 7) Few weeks after, still had a noise. Took it back and they asked for $99 diagnostic. Since I had no other choice, had to go for it. They found some corroded wire and offered to clean it for free. 8). Took it home. The noise was still there. I gave up and took my car to Infinity car service in Bellevue and learning that the replaced pads had poor quality. These pads were not OEM parts!!! I wish they would tell me upfront that they didn't use none OEM parts. Maybe, they need to fix their pad supply issues to ensure the pad quality up to the standard.
