After placing my original review and contacting Firestone directly regarding the issue the Store Manager reached out. He was very respectful and took my complaint seriously. He asked that I give him an opportunity to look into the situation further and he then he contacted me back. The employee offered an in person APOLOGY for what had transpired that night. Although his body language implied one thing his words said another. I explained this to the manager and how this could be viewed by others as not an honest apology. I told him that I was willing to accept the apology. The manager also offered a discount on the work that was performed. I still have yet to return as there were still many excuses offered for the behavior that as a manager should not have been offered nor overlooked. I dropped off my truck on Sunday afternoon around 1:00pm. the Staffing was so low that they couldn't fix a tire in 7 hours. When I called Monday morning the service writer promised the truck by 10am. didn't happen. I was late getting to my appointment because of it. read more

I took my van in to have the tire patched and they told me it would be about $20 and gave me a quote. One hour later they printed an invoice for over $1600! And when I told them I only came to have the tire patch, they told me over the phone that it was against "their policy" due to the nail being close to the sidewall. To be clear, the nail was NOT close to the sidewall, and was only about 1 inch off center. I expressed this and they said it was against "their policy," which is apparently any less of selling you a new time. But the kicker is, less than a week later I have trouble with my alternator. Never had any problems before, but a week after dropping it off I suddenly have mechanical problems because I refused their service. And they had a real attitude about it too. I will NEVER go here again. read more

They overcharge big time. They are 3 times higher then anyone else. They always want you to put it on your Firestone card so you don't really question how much they charge. My mom who is 79 years old has a bill of over 1,000. Really? We will pay it off and never use them again. read more

I have been going to this Firestone service center for nearly 30 years for oil changes and tire rotations. In the last 5 years they have not rotated my tires and said they did at least 5 times and maybe even not changed the oil but I never thought to check if the oil was changed. This past time I took my Honda CRV in for the same services and they did nothing. I have been marking my tires to verify they were changed so I know for sure , that's how I know. I had the shift supervisor check the oil and it was dirty - no oil or oil filter service was done. The service manager had to do these services before they closed at 7 pm. I reported this to the store manager and Firestone head quarters. I will never use this business again and if you do make sure you mark your tires and check to see if your oil on the dipstick is dirt because they will rip you off. read more

Went here for a tire repair. The place is very busy with 5 people in waiting area. I was greeted quickly and check in was a breeze. They shocked me with a cost of repair at 35.00. They placed that blame on the low pressure indicator. Car was taken to back much quicker than expected. As I look into the garage it is completely full with 10 cars and trucks. I did hear them tell a customer that an oil change will take over 2 hours. My repair took under 30 min. Not bad for a very busy place. I would give them 5 stars if it was not for the pricing. read more

We only have one car and I'm disabled. This means I can't work on the car like I used to. The emergency warning brake light would come on and off, even though the brake lever was off. I made an appointment at this Firestone because it is close to home. My wife stopped after work, and they began to work. They soon the found the problem. It was low on brake fluid. The one thing I didn't check. They corrected the problem. My wife said they were professional and friendly. Although I can't say this will happen again I will be back the next time we need a repair. We had are Oil changed here and they didn't change the FILTER! The car started making the sound that it was low on oil. (Knocking) 2 months after the change. We checked the oil and it was low almost 2 quarts. So they also didn't FILL UP THE OIL! Took it to a another place and had the Oil changed and asked for the old oil filter... it is the filter only used by the dealer... The guys are a RIP OFF. read more

I took my car for tire replacement. To begin with I called them and asked for appointment, but they told me I can just walk in and they should be able to get it done. Drop the car in the morning, got call late afternoon saying they couldn't get to it so it is going to be next day. ( I had no other plan for not having my car, so that it was.) The most outrageous thing I heard next day was that they told my wife that the TPS sensor is broken and it's $50 if wants to replace it. I have refill that tire after it was flat, and the sensor was working fine, then I took the tire out and use spare. I don't know how a tire sitting in the trunk can break TPS. I called them next week (when I got time) guy who pick the phone said, their manager comes twice a week and he will give me call. That never happen, usually when I get off work their shop is closed, so I still am driving a no TPS tire car, got to do it until I will have time to replace it myself. read more

This is the SECOND time they have forgotten to bolt pieces that they have worked on to my wifes new car. First some sort of oil covering on the front underside. Second time, she drives away and the wheel is clanking terribly. Luckily she didnt make it to the highway, she brought it back and they didnt say much just that some things were loose. Apparently they didnt fasten the breaks completely. It is terrifying to think that my pregnant wife and 3 year old were about to drive on the highway expecting that this place would do their job properly. I call there and they tell me the "technician was having a bad day and was sent home" UNBELIEVABLE. The place is clean, you are usually greeted in a timely manner. Dont expect anything to be attached back to your vehicle. You get charged a premium price for incompetent work. read more

My husband and I have used this location on several occasions. From new tires, A.c. repair and drive shaft work. People are friendly and work was done in a timely manor. My reason for a low review is we have spent a lot of money for less then addiquit work. On two vehicles the ABS lines were cut and disabled when replacing the tires. Then had to return because one of the tires were bad and vibrated. I spent $$$ on an A.C. repair to have it only last two years. I was also doubled charged and had to advise for a refund. Would not recommend for workmanship is shotty. read more

A few years ago, my daughter took her car in for oil change/tire rotation. This location ran a "diagnostic" on the vehicle, checked all fluid levels and provide a run list of "must have done" service. One day later, we took the vehicle to a certified mechanic to get a second opinion. Our mechanic forwarded a picture of the engine when he was double checking what Firestone's suggested work was. There was an extremely large squirrels nest sitting on top of the engine block, which indicates that the diagnostic and work performed was done haphazardly. The latest, my other daughter took her car in this past weekend (Memorial Day Weekend 2018) to have an oil change and tire rotation. After driving her car the next day she had oil leaking like a sieve down the driveway and a loud noise from her tires. The plug was not screwed in to the oil chamber and the lug nuts on one of the tires were so loose that you could turn them with your hand. The noise went away after the tire lug nuts were tightened down. Clearly there is issues with this Firestone location (Pickerington) and I would not recommend them for any type of work. These are safety issues and they put my daughter's safety at risk. Apologies were given and the work performed was credited with money back, however the point is Shameful. Read some of the other reviews, not tightening things down seems to be a repetitive thing. read more

These guys try and take advantage of you by charging double for many repairs. An example is when getting a new water pump installed they also wanted to charge labor to install a new serpentine belt. You have to remove and reinstall the belt to install the water pump. read more
