***THEY WILL CHARGE YOU DOUBLE THE PRICE THEY GET THE PARTS FOR***…read moreWill not be bringing my car back here and definitely will not recommend them to anyone. The service is poor and the workers have zero customer service. Everyone who works there acts like they hate their life and acted like I was an inconvenience by bringing in my car to get it fixed. They also over charge customers for their parts, and with labor added on to terrible service staff, it's just not worth it. I think it's time to replace the management and get some new friendly workers in there. Good luck bringing your car in here, if you want crappy overpriced half-assed work on your car, then this is the place for you.

It all started several years ago when my son told me about this great auto shop where they worked within his budget, and treated him in a kind and respectful manner not often seen in an industry where too many mechanics take advantage of their customers. So when I needed a repair, I went to John's Tire & Brake Service, and have been going there ever since. My son and I have both referred friends to them as well. This isn't a large facility, and it doesn't have a luxurious waiting room with a Keurig and scones like the big Dealers have. But you will probably save some money, and your vehicle will be in skilled hands. John and Jason are men of integrity; I trust them completely. In today's world, it is uncommon to find proprietors or associates of any business, whose priority is the satisfaction of their customers, and in giving honest service that they can be proud of. That is why I go out of my way to take my car to them, and not to the Toyota dealer down the street.

I'm extremely disappointed writing this…read more Over the years, I've been recommended by several people to John's Tires & Brakes because they were always friendly and made customers feel like family. They would offer rides, snacks, and made the experience feel personal. Because of that, there was a lot of trust built. Unfortunately, someone very close to me recently discovered that multiple repairs done here were either poorly completed or failed far sooner than they should have. Spark plugs that were replaced last May (with only about 5,000 miles driven since) were already completely fried, despite typically lasting much longer. Wiring that was replaced just last month also needs to be redone because it's damaged. On top of that, another mechanic showed that the welding work done on the muffler/exhaust was poorly done and may have contributed to further damage, including the catalytic converter needing replacement. I strongly encourage anyone getting major repairs here to seek a second opinion.

I arrive after letting them know my tpms keeps going in and out of working. Right after it was fixed. So they said verbatim. I don't have a plan with it working now. We can schedule a time for you to drop it off. I'm disabled. I don't have that option. I need my vehicle and do not have someone to come get it. All things they are aware of. It's just tedious to have your time wasted again and again. And I wouldn't want anyone to do that here. Also apparently I was making. A previous review of an oil change wheee they didn't reset my light. And them just leaving a voicemail telling me how to do it myself. Not really worth the value in my opinion if you're constantly doing the work for them and reminding them of your traumatic brain injury and accommodations you have previously requested. I was quoted 224 dollars for the service, and was told it would be done by 1:00. The assistant manager Hunter then told me at 1:15 (they only started working in my vehicle at 1:00) that they could not repair my tire as "someone has already repaired it," (which is untrue as I've only had the tire less than a year and have never had it repaired) and that I needed to buy another new tire. So now I've had to pay 450 dollars. I had to wait another hour for my vehicle to be completed. Once I got back in the vehicle, my tire pressure light was on, and my dash said "tire pressure monitor system maintenance required." When I came this morning, I had no lights or warnings on my dash. The service tech (I believe his name was Titus) then lied to me, saying that he had to "re-learn" the tire pressure sensors to the car, and that the passenger side rear tire pressure sensor was dead. I told him this was impossible, as I had them replaced in January of this year at the dealership. The assistant manager Hunter then checked my vehicle, and told me that the service tech (Titus?) never "re-learned" the sensors to the vehicle, and that he had to do it himself! TLDR: This Discount Tire will overcharge you, lie to you, avoid any accountability, and disrespect your time. Go anywhere but here.
