My name is Erika, and I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a recent experience with Firestone. On Sunday, July 26, 2026, I took my vehicle to the Firestone location at 5101 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32808. After a diagnostic test, I was advised that the issue was with the ECM and that it needed to be reprogrammed. I paid approximately $450 for the service, and my vehicle appeared to be running properly when I picked it up. The following day, while traveling back to Georgia, the battery warning light came back on. This was the same warning light I had experienced before the ECM was reprogrammed. I was advised by a Firestone representative that I could visit another Firestone location for assistance. I therefore went to the Firestone location at 1031 Mount Zion Rd, Morrow, GA 30260. Unfortunately, the technician immediately advised me that I would have to pay again for a diagnostic and would not attempt to review my service history or inspect the vehicle before requesting payment. I find this extremely disappointing. I understand that additional repairs may be necessary, and I am willing to pay for legitimate repairs. However, I do not believe I should have to pay another diagnostic fee when the same issue returned within a day of paying Firestone approximately $450 to address it. My family has been loyal Firestone customers for more than 30 years, so this experience was particularly disappointing and does not reflect the level of service I have come to expect from Firestone. I am requesting that corporate review this matter and allow my vehicle to be re-diagnosed at no additional diagnostic charge. I would also appreciate a review of the service performed in Orlando and how my concerns were handled at the Morrow location. I am simply asking Firestone to stand behind the service I already paid for and help determine why the same issue has returned. Thank you for your prompt attention. Stay AWAY. Went online and made appointment for alignment. Appointment was confirmed. Drove 10 miles in the pouring rain for my scheduled appointment time. Arrived 5 minutes early. Was immediately advised I will need to reschedule my appointment. Not, we are sorry it will take a bit longer than expected. "you will have to reschedule. They didn't text, call, or email to cancel my appointment. Extremely unprofessional and discourteous. No apologies. I asked why and the "service professional" advised that they got all backed up since I made the appointment. The thought never entered their mind to cancel or to not get all backed up. What is the point of making and appointment? I will be escalating this to management and corporate. My time is very valuable and this was a huge waste of mine. Thanks for nothing! read more

This place TERRIBLE! They tried to take advantage of me likely because I appeared to not know much about cars. I came to get my break pads inspected and because they tried to charge me TRIPLE what other businesses would charge me I refused service. I asked them to put my tires back on. In an effort to retaliate they PURPOSELY put my back tires on the front of my BMW TRUCK! I didn't discover this until my husband checked my car upon arriving home. What's the point of making an appointment if your appointment doesn't mean anything? I just had 4 new tires put on the car and the alignment was off hence the four new tires. I called early in the morning and spoke with a young lady and made an appointment - 3pm, I asked how long does it take and she told me approximately 45 minutes. Great, I thought to myself, will still have time to do things. Arrived early and there were two employees helping one customer so I stood at the counter waiting patiently. Lamar finally walked up and no greeting at all. I informed him that I had a 3pm appointment and he said you dropping off? I informed him that I was going to wait. He informed me that the wait was approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to just get into the bay. I informed him that I called and the young lady told me it would take 45 and then Janae interjected that she spoke with me and made the appointment and she didn't tell me that it would go into the bay at 3 versus it takes about 45 minutes once in the bay and that they were running behind a little. (She never mentioned they were running behind). At this point I'm frustrated and I tell him I'd like to check in and then go get the other car and drop this one back off. He tells me I can change my appointment and I ask what tome tomorrow morning can I come and he says Wednesday (mind you it's Monday) or Saturday. I said no I have 4 brand new tires on my car and I know my alignment is bad and I don't want to ruin these tires. Then he says well we will check you in when you come back. Ummm, so I lose my spot in line? No thank you. Then a customer gets to talking loudly that she's been waiting there all day and they have yet to service her car. So here it is 6pm so I call to see what's the status of my car and she lets me know that it's about to get pulled in. I ask them what time do they close and she keeps talking over me in which I said "I'll wait for you to finish so I can ask my question" she lets me know that they start locking up at a certain time but they were going to get to my car today. I arrive and my car was just being pulled in. The guy who was in front of me is walking out the door. I asked him what time his appointment was and he says 3. I said funny as MY APPOINTMENT was at 3. He said they are stacking appointments as he heard the lady make 3 appointments for 2pm the next day. So if you aren't in a rush and want to waste a day, this is the spot for you. Oh and then when I looked at my paperwork I had to laugh at the tread report. As I stated these are BRAND NEW TIRES, just had them put on and drove over here and they show my tread depth to be everywhere so I doubt that they checked it. read more

I'm not going to bury the lead with this review. I am very disappointed by my visit here and ultimately recommend for you to not go here. I took my car in to have an oil change and an alignment. The staff seemed fine at first but then the line female staff member began talking, yelling and cackling super loud with the co-workers in the same room with us and then with the ones on the other side of the building in the garage. I went outside to avoid the noise but eventually got cold enough to go back in. Upon returning I was informed about some minor repairs/maintenance issues (which I could take care of myself) and they offered to remember them for a price. I refused the offer but thanked them for the info. They asked for payment, I presented coupons from their company website and I was told they wouldn't work unless I got their company credit card. This information was not accurate and they gave me my discounts. None of this really bothered me until I realised, while sitting in traffic on the way home, that the alignment wasn't completed. They took my money, handed me a bunch of paperwork and sent me out the door and didn't once mention that they couldn't complete the work that I paid them for. It was only after I flipped through the paperwork and read the final two pages that I realised they lacked the ability to complete the job. They had hand-written notes on the parapet and never said a word to me about it but they offered to charge me extra to clean a battery and change a lightbulb... WTF?!? And I still wasn't pissed until they sent me a survey and after I responded to it and they offered to have someone contact me and they still haven't. Meh. Fuck 'em! Now I'm pissed off again from writing this review. Grrr! Shit customer service. Shit labour services. And apparently shit communications and customer outreach too! I shall not return. We have an electrical contracting business and on 2/5 we took one of our work vans-a 2016 Ford Truck Transit Connect XLT to the Mt Zion Rd location in Morrow, GA for repair. We told the manager-Cornell- that we needed a new catalytic converter and after a diagnostic was done we were advised that we also needed O2 sensors and a map sensor. We advised that all we wanted done was the catalytic converter at this time. We paid $2872.00 and picked the van up on 2/9. When we got the van back it was still running bad-worse than it was before we got the catalytic converter replaced. There was also a gas smell in the van that wasn't there before. We went ahead and had the O2 sensors and map sensor replaced by another mechanic, since we did not have Firestone do this and we were thinking that this may be the issue. Once they were replaced it was still running bad. On 2/16 we took the van back to Firestone to ask that they look at the van because it was running worse than it was before and we smelled gas. Cornell, the manager, said that they would inspect it and advise what was going on with the vehicle. On 2/22 my husband called around 3pm to get an update and was told they were waiting on parts, but the vehicle was almost ready. My daughter called back on 2/22 around 5:30 to make sure the vehicle was ready before she picked it up. She spoke with a woman that told her that Cody advised she pick it up right before closing. When she got there there was only one woman there and one mechanic. The woman told her that she didn't know anything about what was going on with the van and nothing was listed in the system. There was no record of parts or maintenance in association with the van in the system. On 2/23 my husband went to the location to find out exactly what was going on. He spoke with Cornell and explained that all he was trying to find out is what was causing the van to still ride as rough or rougher than it had before we had the catalytic converter replaced and what was causing the smell of gas. At this point we just want to know what's going on. We ended up taking the van to a Tires Plus location in Stonecrest, GA that we usually use and have no issues with. They informed us-after doing a diagnostic-that the converter had a bank 1 and a bank 2 and it appeared that only one back was replaced. This should have been something that was common knowledge to mechanics...in either case they advised we take the van back to the location that did the work-Firestone Auto Complete in Morrow, GA on Mt Zion Rd for them to correct this. It is May 1 and we still do not have our work van. My daughter has had to work out of her personal vehicle since February and not have all of her material and tools because she can't carry them in her car. They said they had to special order the part because it's hard to fit our vehicle. This is unacceptable and I had already reached out to corporate when this happened. The runaround that we have been receiving is an example of the worst customer service experience we have ever had. We are steps away from litigation. read more

Had mad an appointment the day before for 10:00 am when I got to the location they said they could not find it. But they would get me in. What is the point of having an online appointment system if it does not transfer the information over. I sat in the store for almost 3 hours trying to get a flat fixed. I wish I would had read the reviews before I went I bought two tires in august when back in January for rotation, they told me I needed a battery of the battery was $220 for two years and they said I need a brakes front and back for $1100. I went Toyota to get a battery. for $200 for a lifetime I got front and back brakes for $200, I will never go back to this place and I would never recommend it. Be prepared to wait over 3 hours for the most simple services regardless of you made an appointment or not. I came in today at 8am due to my work truck tire having a slow air leak. They did a good job with the initial inspection and suggested i get 4 new tires. They were even able to get 4 new tires ordered and delivered same day (from down the street), however, I've been here for 7 1/2 hours and I'm still waiting on my tires to be replaced so i can go. To make a long story short, I'm never coming back here again. The staff person inside was nice but I've been here for over half the day (they close at 7pm) and I still have my own jobs to complete. Not to mention the staff person said 2 hours , it took 2 hours just for them to get my truck Inside and take a look (10am). I still have work to do in DOWNTOWN Atlanta I mean how long it take you to replace 4 tires? Not to mention, they took my truck out of the garage to wait for the tires, and it took another 1-2 hours just to get my truck back in the garage and my truck has been in there for about 2 hours now, and still isn't ready. I'm never coming back here and I suggest you don't either. This is unacceptable time for a tire replacement. I wanted to setup an appointment the day before yesterday and the guy said it's first come first serve and that an appointment wouldn't matter. If you schedule an appointment at a certain time. Expect them to actually be ready around 2+ hours later. But don't worry. The worn out chairs with no support will accommodate your wait because your not allowed to leave and come back at your convenience. You work with their time. They don't work with yours. If promised to be seen by a certain time. Add an extra 2+ hours to that time. In a place where no one keeps their word. I promise I keep mine. I would also suggest marking items on your car with a colored marker to make sure after sitting for 4 hours. The work you PAID to be done on your car was actually done. At least you can enjoy the gossip being shared between the "workers" about their personal lives. Good luck. read more

Came in for new tires with a appointment. Took almost 5 hours to put new tires on. When we finally left freaken tires were not balance our truck vibrated so hard. Had to turn around took them another 2 1/2 hours what we thought was them fixing it, drove off again and truck still shook. Had to take our truck to tire place to have them fix firestones laziness and crappy ass job. Brand new tires with a jacked up job. The mechanics are lazy and do a horrible job. If only something could be done but nothing will. I'm just a customer that's going to warn u if u go here good luck. Remember tires should only take a hour 1 1/2 tops. When went back for the to fix the balance that should only take 45min maybe an hour tops. This placed should be shut down for there crappy, service. read more

Every time I come here I receive exceptional service. The Mt Zion Rd location has been my choice since I moved to Atlanta/Hampton GA. I travel maybe 5 miles to come here because when I need something done right, rather I bring my vehicle or my wife does, it has been done correctly. Yes, they aren't like a backyard mechanic. You won't save an extra $5 here but let me tell you what I have experienced and noticed. 1. If they know they will be a while fixing your vehicle, they tell you that and offer another time frame or allow you to leave as they work on your vehicle. 2. Very friendly staff. They may not remember names but they remember faces and cars. I bought new tires here and they purposefully looked for any discount to help me save money. On top of that they aligned my vehicle and my wife said she was out in about an hour and forty five minutes. Awesome. 3. You can set appointments and leave your number with them. Any questions or concerns they may have, they will call you. 4. Quality costs! Bit it doesn't have to rip you off!!! It may cost you a little more for exceptional service, but shouldn't we put that best on a vehicle that we believe shields our lives from the outside elements as we go to and fro? The worse thing to ever experience is having a faulty part or inexperienced mechanic work on your vehicle and it not perform properly all because you didn't take your own safety seriously. Thank you Firestone! I feel safe sending my wife here to get work done on our vehicle when I am out of town for business, without having to worry about rip offs, or she feeling as though her personal safety is in jeopardy. Lastly, 5. They will only work on what you tell them to. They will recommend other things but give you back the ability to work on your vehicle at your pace. They understand the financial woes of life and there is no judgement with them. I have trusted Firestone for years and I am glad I found a great shop when I moved from Charleston SC. I visited this location for a tire rotation and oil change. They attempted to charge me for a tire rotation even though I had purchased my tires from another location. Upon attempting to rotate my tires they found that another location had "double threaded" a tire. They refused to fix the issue. I had to call the corporate number then they fixed the issue. I filed a complaint with corporate office however I was impressed with their response. I do not intend to visit any Firestone locations in the future. read more

After getting the spare on, I needed to find the closest firestone since I purchased my tires there and still had the warranty. Brought my car in for a hub bearing wheel assembly replacement. I was quoted a price over the phone, and then when I got over to the fire stone store they discovered that the work was gonna be more extensive so I said fine.. After looking at the vehicle they discovered that parts were going to be necessary and that I should pick the vehicle up until work performed following the day. Once I pick my vehicle up from fire store Mount Zion, The passenger side caliber was flopping rattling on my disc that screws were hand tight. Come to find out that after the tech put the brakes back onHe stripped the Lugnuts or one of them, so he couldn't get the tire back off. The young lady that was upfront advised me to bring the vehicle back the following day and that the technician had already left for the day.The following day I took a vehicle to Toyota After the fact that my vehicle was worse than when I brought it in to begin with. Tried to sell me a tire for a small nail in a new tire which I got fix down the street for 10 dollars went in for a tire rotation and it did not get done due to the small nail in a tire ? and all they did with my alignment was give me a report . The car still steers to the right . Lusundra is not knowledgeable or profesional and the service tech Jay was also horrible . Firestone should close this place down . This one is worth the review. I had an appointment for Wednesday at 10:30 am which I called two days in advance to be put on schedule. Roy went ahead and scheduled it. I called my work boss and let him know I'll be in around 2 cause everything should be fixed by then. Or so I thought. My car was finally looked at at 1:30 pm... 3 hours later! Thats because lunch break was at 12:30 for him. When he finally came back there was no apology, but I let it slide. I let Roy know that the engine light was on due to a mass overflow sensor and that another car mechanic confirmed this due to his machine. Roy took a look, diagnosed it, and stated "no no it's the spark plugs and the hose" so I entrusted him due to his confidence and friendliness. That was a mistake. 4:30 rolls around and $500 later I finally get my car back. Run to McDonald's and noticed my car was running the exact same way AND with an engine light back on. I call Roy and he says to come on back. So I did so. He used three separate machine, all of which were on low battery and about to die. He stated that without the diagnosis machines having extra battery life, it'll probably won't get a good reading. Now I work as a technician... and what Roy was simply doing was a thing called bs. I'm very familiar with it. He told me he doesn't have time to fix the way the car is running or the engine light. Told me to come back tomorrow instead and apologized for it. And now I'm out $500 and a day of work. I have a 100 bucks to last me till Friday so I wasn't able to pay for the mass overflow or the O2 which would have been about $300 to fix. Instead it was used on spark plugs which costs $300 to replace!? Really!! I still can't pass emissions because the engine light is still on. And I just bought this car from a private dealer a week ago. Still can't do registration because the actual issue from starting the process of the registration wasn't fixed! Roy told me he'd only been working as a car mechanic for 2 years here at firestone and he was managing the place. So I wasn't too sure who else I could ask for help with the issue I was having. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD AT A FIRESTONE LOCATION. I personally don't blame Firestone as a corporation, but this has to be the most ill managed store I've patronized. Went in for tires (a tuesday) and didn't like the quoted price I received for only 3. Requested my vehicle back (which they had just pulled into the garage). My hood was up but didn't think anything of it, just thought it was a routine courtesy fluid check. Realized the next day (a Wednesday) they LEFT MY OIL CAP OFF and my car was completely depleted of oil and oil was EVERY WHERE in the undercarriage. Why my cap was removed in the first place is beyond me since I wasn't there for an oil change. Called immediately Wednesday night spoke to "management" but of course the store manager was on "vacation" until the following Monday. Purchased oil and a cap and some other things pertaining to trying to get oil back into my car. Was informed to not touch my vehicle by another Firestone location. Called back Thursday morning to see what could be done. Manager told me to put oil in my vehicle and they'll reimburse me for the cap!? I know nothing about cars and wasn't going to be responsible for messing up my vehicle by doing something I knew nothing about. Also called corporate Thursday and they spoke to the "manager" who was in charge of the store. They informed him my vehicle needed to be towed there (which the manager never offered). Car was supposed to be towed Friday. They gave the tow company the WRONG ADDRESS AND TIME OF TOW. Had to arrange the tow MYSELF with the tow company for Saturday morning. Keep in mind my vehicle was parked since I discovered the oil cap COMPLETELY MISSING on Wednesday. I was without a vehicle and still had to work! Car is towed to firestone Saturday morning and NO ONE FROM THE STORE EVER CONTACTED ABOUT MY VEHICLE. Realizing the time, I called right before they closed Saturday evening and was informed my vehicle was ready, they replenished the oil and "wiped" down the oil spilled in my undercarriage. But was also informed since they were about to close I had to come get my vehicle the next day, Sunday. Picked my vehicle up sunday and asked to be reimbursed for the whole amount of my receipt ($52 from autozone) not just the $3 oil cap. Was told I'd have to bring my receipt Monday to the real manager because he was the only one who could authorize the reimbursement. Left them a copy of my receipt. Still didnt receive a call Monday. Had to reach out MYSELF Tuesday to the manager and out of frustration pretty much demanded my reimbursement. He obliged. Also took my vehicle to my local Honda dealership Monday. They evaluated my vehicle said the oil level was fine but the undercarriage still needed to be dropped and cleaned PROPERLY because there was still oil and water visible. Also expressed this to the manager who informed me that if I got my vehicles undercarriage professionally cleaned it would be AT MY OWN EXPENSE. Also over a week later STILL WAITING FOR THE COOPERATE AREA MANAGER TO CONTACT ME. THROW THEM ALL AWAY. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO EMPATHY FOR A PROBLEM THEY CREATED! We got towed in after breaking down on the highway. We believed the problem was the alternator and/or the belt, which had slipped off. The mechanics showed us exactly what was wrong, which was a stripped bolt. I found them honest and competent. I don't understand the bad reviews. The staff was polite and attentive. They even have coffee available in their waiting area, free wifi and a clean restroom. They made a stressful experience much better. read more

I called the store around 7:30 and they told me to bring up my car at 8:00 (and they were true to their word). I was passing through Georgia when my break line broke! Every time I come I normally deal with one person, Shawn. I have found him to be honest and very helpful. His mechanics report the problem and they give you their best advice. My car needed brakes and they gave their expertise on the problem. They could have reported that it needed to be done ASAP to take my money as I have dealt with in the past with other mechanics because I am a woman. Not here! This is just one instance of how they have saved me hundreds of dollars. My car is not going anywhere else. read more
