This is location needs to be shut down. They charge me to fix lower control arms and outer tie rids on both front sides, and I told them I my wheel is riddling on the right. they took for a test drive and act like they didnt hear it. I took my car to another shop and come to find out none of those parts were even replaced. They claim they will give me a refund with a receipt from the other shop. When I arrived they said the manager is the only one that can give a refund and claim he wont be back for a week, huh? read more

They used to fix pretty Much anything now days they seem picky. Brought my truck there for an alignment and they did the alignment twice and is worse now than I brought it in. When complained the manager said it's in spec according to the machine I asked him if he or the tech can for for a ride so I show them as soon as take my hand off the wheel it goes to the right curb very fast now when I drive I have to constantly hold the wheel the left to go straight they said they can do anything. Years ago the had an older gentleman who retired and two younger men one was Mexican the other was white and a female writer up front the three technician la they had where the best and always went above to please. One tech the day after 4th of July had to remove a dog from engine compartment who was afraid of the fire works I assume it took the tech a couple hours to remove the animal and they never charged a dime that was my friends car. It's olmost like they would hire anyone just to have someone in the back. It's a shame in the last 10 years how this place has gone down hill and they want you to drop off your vehicle every time you can no longer wait for your car like you could before. read more

This location destroyed my car - literally. I had my car towed to this location after it died not far from their shop. First they said it was a battery so they replaced the battery. That didn't fix the problem. Then they said it was an alternator so they replaced that. At the same time they told me that the radiator was bad so they replaced that. I picked up my car and drove it. 50 miles later the car died. I had the car towed to my local mechanic and here is what he said. "in my opinion the vehicle had overheated causing the plug to blow out after the radiator replacement. This was probably due to not bleeding the cooling system properly. Now the engine needs to be replaced" The MIDLOTHIAN location did refund my money for the battery, alternator and radiator, but they refuse to take responsibility for destroying my car. Firestone corporate is also refusing to do anything. read more

I took my car in for an alignment and afterwards my car started progressively making a knocking sound like a part was loose. I took it back in for a diagnosis and for the part(s) to be tightened if that was the issue. I was told my sway bar was worn and needed to be replaced. I gave the okay to do the work for $607. A few minutes later they called back to say the sway bar was not loose, all the parts were secure and could not diagnose the issue but assured me the vehicle was safe to drive charging me $10.01 basically for wasting my time. When I pushed I was told it was bad bushings but changing them would not stop the noise because it was the tire rod but again they weren't able to fix it. Frustrated I asked him to speak to his technician and verify what he found. I was then told it actually was the sway bar that was loose and to replace it, they needed to remove the rack and pinion which is something they did not do. I took the vehicle to Pep Boys who said it was ridiculous for them to tell me they would need to remove the rack and pinion to tighten the sway bar. In short Pep Boys tightened the sway bar and only charged me their inspection fee. Needless to say Firestone in Midlothian will never have me darken their doorstep again. If you want to keep you car in good shape and running, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VECHICLE TO THIS LOCATION. I took my car here last Saturday to get my tires rotated and alignment. Drove my car over the weekend my car had a vibration when I got over a certain speed, in which I did not have before I took my car here. I took it back on yesterday Tuesday 3 days later. Now I have to have brakes, rotators and and new battery. First of all how you know I need a battery the technician did not open the hood. WOW! When I took my car on Saturday none of these things was told to me. How all of a sudden all this stuff need to be done after just 3 days. Asked to speak to the manager Steve, he came out and said hello and then saw someone he knew and totally ignored what was going on with my transaction. I would never take my care back here. I would give it no stars if I could. It is so sad that people try to take advantage of people. read more

I take our vehicles here for routine maintenance once or twice a year at least. Have had new tires, oil changes and some other work done on a few vehicles. I've always had good experiences here. People working here seem friendly and respectful. I will continue to return here for service. read more

If you want to take your car in to this location, please remember to check how it LOOKS when you pick it up. whoever worked on my (freshly washed) car thought it was ok to have his hands, pants and shoes completely covered in grease. i know these guys work in a dirty environment, but black grease marks on the door, handle, window, hood - plus of course the outside wasnt enough, the inside floor and inside of the bottom of the door all marked with black grease. the second star is for the poor guy who works up front that DIDNT get the mess everywhere, and he cleaned it up....sort of. i was hoping for some sort of coupon or *gasp* free oil change at least, but no. so i wont be bringing my car back to this store. ever. read more

Took my car in about 2 months ago for a slow leak in my tire, rotation, and alignmemt. Shortly after getting my car back, my PSI gauge continued to be low and need air. Went back, and they found 3 nails in the tire and replaced it. So now a month later, my car starts making grinding noises. My dad looks at it and the rotation is backward on the tire they previously fixed. Took it back today and they are refusing to give me a new tire. With the wear on that tire from the error, it could have been destroyed. Now i have to be nervous driving my 4 year old around because that tire has a month of wear on it that is a result of their error. Im an understanding person, but 2 mistakes in less than 2 months, and the second one will not be fully corrected and it is a matter of SAFETY. Unprofessional and carelessness from the employees to allow someone to leave their business potentially unsafe. We will not be doing business with this Firestone location again. read more

I have been going to Firestone for a long to for my car. Firestone is a great company to go to bring your car too. I've always took my car to this location, however, I am not satisfied about the change in staff and management. Very poor management and no customer service. So this is what happened. I brought my car in to get fixed, some white guy had worked on my car. When I received my car back, it was dirty and handprints and smudges were everywhere. The guy didn't even solve the issue with my car. So of course I went to speak to the manager and it was a new manager from the last time I was there. When I explained what was wrong, he gave me an attitude and wasn't trying to help me. He stated it was my problem to address and said he couldn't help me... Seriously.... I won't ever come back to this store and I don't recommend this location.. read more
