I had a small car accident. I only took my suv there due the my warranty giving me different auto care places near my home. This place so close to my home i can walk across outer loop and see my suv. I rode pass there everyday going and coming from work to home.My car sat in the parking lot for 43 days without them touching or even much looking at it. I would call regularly to check on the status of my vehicle and I would always ask to speak to the manager (PAT) He seem as if he was really helping with dealing with the warranty company. When I found out that the warranty company did not want to pay for the issues I end up going another route. Anywho to say less my vehicle sat in the parking lot for week without being touched. Every time I would call and speak to the manager (PAT) he would have some kind of excuse to why my vehicle was not fixed by now. I payed over $3000 to have my vehicle fixed. I had a rental car for 45 days due to my car just sitting in the parking lot.After I talked to my brother on how long my vehicle as been in the shop and what all that needed to be fixed he went to talk to the manager (PAT) and all of sudden my car was going to be done the same day. When I picked up my vehicle all the lights on my dash board was on and my vehicle was running a little bit funny. I called back up to the shop no answer. I dropped my vehicle off at the body shop my vehicle was done in 6 days just like they said. When I went to pick up my vehicle they mentioned to me that my vehicle is not safe to drive due to the work not done correctly, somethings are missing and too small. The scary part is I had a car accident to wear I could not drive it and I brought my vehicle there to fix it and this company did not fix my vehicle property. So driving my car I could of had another car accident that could of hurt me really bad. I called and talk with the manager (pat) to let him know about the news I received from the body shop he did not sound shocked at all. So that made me think and believe that he knew that did not fix my vehicle correctly. He told me that he will call me back and let me know the eta on the parts. Do not recommend. We were the first to arrive to get an oil change at 7:00 on the dot, worker was getting distracted and didn't start on our car until 7:40. Didn't care up until we start driving on the highway AC stops working, aps, battery, and vhs signs went off. The gas stops working and the wheel stops turning we pull over and the whole car smells burnt. Would've not complained but our car was completely fine up until the oil change. Go elsewhere !!!!! First off, this location looks more like something you would find alongside a gravel road out in the boondocks, especially inside! Not a welcoming appearance inside or out. It has deteriorated and evidently nobody notices. (broken window effect) THE PROBLEM: I called to verify prices with this location and later went online to book an appointment for a wheel alignment, 2016 BMW X3 AWD. Scheduled for the next day @ 10 AM. Shortly after this I rec'd text confirmation that appointment was made for this specific vehicle at that time. Next day: Arrived at the FIRESTONE next to Judge Blvd. at about 9:30 AM for my 10AM appt. Talked with staff member a few minutes and he then indicated that they may not have the proper equipment to do the job. "MAY NOT" ????? Mentioned a bag of sand to sit in the drivers seat. (enter "left-handed" monkeywrench) So, I reminded him that I rec'd a confirmation for this vehicle to have this service, along with a few other words such as how embarrassed I was for them to do business in such a manner. I said since you don't know if you can do the job then cancel the appt., and then left. If they are too lazy to see if they have the necessary equipment that they will need to do the job when scheduling an appointment, I don't want them touching my car/suv anyway! I was helping my daughter and son in law travel from Atlanta, GA to Chicago at the end of the summer. On the way one of the vehicles began to have a worrisome shake while driving. We were able to limp into the Outer Loop Firestone location, and they fit us in to check it out. They worked us in to their schedule (even though it was already late on Saturday) and were able to diagnose the problem. Given that a delay would have put my wife and I in Chicago with minimal wiggle to catch our flight home, I asked (pleaded) to get it done that evening. To my surprise they stepped up and got us taken care of. We made to Chicago late but still could sleep in and relax before traveling home. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to Matt, Steve and Rodney for saving the day for us. Not to mention 2 hotel rooms for a night and a lost day of my life I would never get back. I have noticed a fair number of poor reviews at this location, I would caution the reader to do his or her own research, as this was definitely not our experience. read more

I've been going to the Broadway location for years due to previous managers at the Outer Loop location. Recently, I had gone to the Broadway location for an oil change, when my check engine light came on. Because my appointment was for a Saturday - their diagnostic tech wasn't there and they couldn't look into the check engine light further. I called about a week and a half later to make an appointment to be told that they don't make appointments for diagnostics because they never know how long they will run. This makes sense but I was a bit annoyed that this wasn't conveyed earlier. I also wasn't in the position to leave my car downtown and the gentleman at that store said it could be days before my car was even looked at. Onto the Outer Loop location - due to my frustration with the Broadway location, I called Outer Loop just to see if maybe they could get me in and give me a better time frame on when my car would be able to be looked at. I spoke with a gentleman named Gerald who listened to my issue, heard my frustration and offered a solution in the form of an appointment the next day. I dropped my car off (thank goodness for coworkers) and waited to see what the verdict was. Turned out to be a pretty obvious tear in a hose. Once I had given my approval for the repair - it was a quick 20 minute fix. My car is once again running great and this location went above and beyond to help me out - which was greatly appreciated. I've been using the Broadway location for years but this might have been the repair to switch me back to the more convenient location for me. read more

If I could give it 0 stars it would be ideal. Terrible service. I have had to visit the place 4 times to be able to align my car and I still haven't been able to. Every time I went I had to wait 3 hours and when they notified me they said that I had to change a part in order to continue with the alignment, I looked for the part and came back and when I arrived I had to wait 3 hours and in the end when they left they told me that I had to look for another part and so for 3 consecutive times I had to go. And when I made my appointment for the last time for 4 pm which was supposed to be the last one, when I arrived the gentleman told me that I had to make another appointment because he had a lot of work. Why the hell do they confirm the appointment if they can't do it? For me this place no longer exists. The worst that can exist. I do not recommend it to anyone. read more

As a general rule, I have not had any issues with battery testing or having my air pressure in my tires checked. Purchasing tires/battery. However, yesterday, January 22, 2024, I had the need to have my air pressure checked and OMG! the man at the service desk was very rude and hateful. This happened around 10 am. "We are short staffed but, yeah, we will check your tires. Get in line!" There is no need for such a nasty attitude. Had this been my only experience with this location, I would never return. Took the truck back for a 2nd time and got meet with attitude from a old man who I guess is the manager when I told him the steering wheel was off center (Mind you I have a 3 year old truck with 40,000). Ok I have always used Firestone where I have other choices but this time was unpleasant. First I paid $130 for oil change and back brakes clean up as it was squeaky. Took it home and on my way just got on the hwy and it started to shake so bad it was not safe I had to stop the exited and went back and had to wait again. Tech this time took it on the hwy and came back saying that it did not and should not shake up to 70 mph. Guess what the shake is still there at about 55 mph and it shifts to the left. Not to mention I have free balance and free lifetime warranty on alignment. Free yes dont expect good work for free. This place is a joke! I drove across town because I bought a lifetime alignment there when I lived closer. I had the alignment done last weekend and I was told I needed a camber adjustment. Bear in mind my car is driving great at this time! I scheduled the camber adjustment for yesterday at noon and had to take a day off work. At 5:00 they informed me they could not do the work. They incorrectly entered it in the computer as an alignment and the person who specializes in that called in sick. I had to come back. I came in today at noon for yet another appointment and was promised they would pay for an Uber home. I ended up having to pay for it myself ($40). I picked my car up at 6:00. Driving home I felt all kinds of vibrations on the front drivers side where they adjusted the camber. My car now drives like shit! I called on the way home to inform them that my car drove far better before their so-called "repair". He had the nerve to suggest I bring it back in a fourth time! My wife had her car towed here because in the past I had built a rapport in the business and referred people there because they used to have a couple of Master Mechanics that were certified to pretty much repair anything on your car. We called and told them that the car would not start but that all of the lights and everything else comes on so we did not think it was the battery. We call back three days later and they tell us they had 5 other vehicles towed in as well so apparently they were more of a priority. We called them back 2 days later ( since they never called us) and we were told that they were testing and charging the battery. We asked a day later what the total would be and a lady named Cheyenne said it would be $431.00 so I asked how much would the labor be. She said it was included in the quote. So I said since you all have it any way can you just do an oil change as well but how much more would that be , she said $46,00 . 3 days later they finally say the car is done and it will be $570.++ Clearly their math is different from mine Cheyenne then gets argumentative and rude. So we paid $540.00 after losing more than 1/2 of the gas that was in the van at $5.00 a gallon. I can no longer refer them and we are actively looking for a new mechanic shop. read more

First time I stopped in this store was for a tire repair. They were too busy to fool with me. Stopped back In today because my AC is not working. They don't have time for me today either. Says it will be Monday. I had the AC repaired at a different Firestone about 2 months ago. Over $1200 in repairs just for the AC. So it's under warranty for a year but that's not worth much when two stores in this area can't get to it. read more

We have been loyal customers of Firstone at this location for years. We took our vehicle in at 7am on the 23rd of August for a/c repairs and a few other things before going on a road trip. We were told it was ready for pickup on the 24th. The next day we discovered the a/c hadn't been repaired and we had more problems than when we initially took it in, so we took it back on 25th at open of business. Bottom line after being told on the 26th by a technician when we called to check the status that they hadn't had time to look at it, we then filed a complaint with the complaint department. The following day our vehicle was fixed and returned to us. We were charged a steep price to receive horrible customer service and get a run around. Do not go there. These are the worst people I have ever met in my life. They are rude, they are liars and they will quote you for one price than charge you double when you arrive holding your car hostage. I was in last week because my engine light was on. I dropped the car off to have them change my oil and see what was wrong with it. After a day I finally hear back from them. I was quoted $800 including labor. They then call me back after and said I would need a new Turbo. I asked for the quote and he said $1500. After about 4 days I finally get a call about my car being ready. I get there and now they wanted to charge me $3000. Ron the guy who spoke to me did things to my car that I didn't even approve of including windshield wipers for $80. When confronted about it he gave me an attitude and then tried to hold my car hostage. I ended up paying the damn bill and they included a warranty. Well the very next day I had my car, the engine light came back on. Now RON and this same BULLSHIT STORE wants to charge me another $100 just to look at it again. WHAT ABOUT MY WARRANTY?
