During the snowstorm of 11/30/2024, I punctured a tire and was losing air fast. I made it to Firestone at 77th and State Ave, KCK. I went there specifically because I have bought at least 6 sets of tires from there and had always had really good, fast, friendly service. This time, however, they were very unfriendly and basically refused to even look at it. The condescending manager told me that I was basically on my own and that they would not help. Even if just to offer to call another local shop that could do this work (there was a Tires Plus 1/2 block from them-Their "sister" store). Or to at least air the tire back up (I was down to 15psi) so that I could make it somewhere else (or to just mount the spare). Because of this experience, I will not be purchasing any Firestone products in the future. read more

My sons vehicle needed a brake job. This team completely up sold him on everything they possibly could on a 13 year old Ford Escape with 180,000 miles. His brake job cost him close to $800 and I'm not even sure the vehicle is worth that much. I wouldn't trust this team. read more

I cannot recommend this Firestone. First, I made an appointment. Upon arrival, I was told they were running behind. Ok. It happens. But the reason a person makes an appointment is???? I had my car inspected. The first thing the serviceman says to me, you need to replace your wiper blades. Strike one. I had just replaced them myself by a recent trip to AutoZone. The second thing he says, the air filter needs to be replaced. Strike 2, it had been replaced recently also. The third thing was the coolant needed changing. Ok. That is reasonable. I'll get that done while I am here. MISTAKE!!! I spent a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes (from 9:00 until 11:45) and the coolant took from (10:00ish until 11:45). Strike 3. I don't feel like the price was competitive either. The only reason they get more than one star is because the service people were pleasant. I chose this place because a friend recommended them a little while ago. I am going to assume that something has changed. Needless to say I won't be returning. I do wish them the best. read more

The staff here are friendly, but the wait times are terrible, even with an appointment. I came to this location to see if I could get them to fix a noise that was in my dash, an actuator that a different location in CA did the work on. At this location I was told by a mechanic that they had talked to the CA shop and they didn't know which actuator was replaced. This location also told me they didn't think they could do the work, even if it was covered by a warranty, and they referred me to another location. I had trouble getting the other location to make an appointment and started calling the corporate help desk. I had to call their help desk so many times I was supposedly transferred to a corporate office representative because I had moved out of state and wasn't getting support for the warranty work to fix my car in KS. If you're active duty military (like I am) or if you move a lot, I would encourage you to go somewhere else. The mechanics here are pleasant people, and probably capable of general maintenance on your car. But if you're looking for anything more than that, I would go somewhere else. The corporate and regional leaders I believe are incompetent and incapable of leading the stores in a way that allows for quality customer service. I was a firestone customer for several years, now I can only hope that these reviews cost the corporation as much or more than they cost me. read more

Never will I go to this Firestone!!! I called to see how much lifetime alignments were for my car and they told me it was going to be $235 before tax, I about had a heart attack since I have lifetime alignments on my other vehicle which is the same exact vehicle just one year apart and I had only paid $150. I went to a different firestone the following week and they only charged me $150 before tax and the employees there told me that $235 is not the price for lifetime alignments for my car and that they were tryna rob me smh read more

Don't take your car to these hacks. Had my wife take the car in for an alignment after replacing a bad wheel bearing. They told her the camber was out on the front end, but no one makes an adjustable camber bolt kit for this car (they do, I checked). Then they didn't correct the out of spec camber on the rear of the car (they admitted that was adjustable). To top it all off they then charged $20 more than the advertised price for the alignment. These guys and gals were awesome at getting my car fixed and so genuine about safety and timeliness of fixing things I needed done at a good price. I went in after going to a competitor and they were willing to inspect and be sure they were honest about what needed to be done and help ensure they got fixed the problems I was having. WOW!, if I could give a ZERO rating to this store I would have. I'll start by saying I've been with Firestone for approx.15 yrs., so I'm not knew to Firestone, however I had worked done on my truck for the last 2 years at this Firestone location. I called to set an appointment recently, for I'm getting ready for a road trip, when Nick at this store, whom I've known for 2yrs, said and I quote " know one here likes working on your truck ". I said WHAT ?, now I'm questioning the work that they have done in the past years. I, like most people that have had there vehicle sense new.....take care of there investment......I will never take my truck or car to this Firestone ever again.........apparently they don't like doing there job. People who don't like doing there job, in my opinion, can't do quality work, that one would expect them too. Michael read more
