Service is disingenuous in estimating length of maintenance, beyond slow, and seemingly inefficient in every process in place. I was told that they could fit me in for a job that would take ~2.5-3 hrs. It's bee 25hrs and they still have the vehicle in the bay... but no one is actually working on it. I came to pick it up an hour after estimated completion time, and upon arrival I was told it would only be 15-30mins more... it's been an hour and a half, no one is working on it yet people continue to take smoke breaks after break... AVOID this place!!! read more

My car wouldn't start and I had it towed here with the understanding I needed it fixed by a certain day. Jeff promised that it would get done. While a few days did go by without it being fixed, it was repaired by the time I needed it. So far no issues with the work and the car is running fine. Never in life taking my car back, So I explained what my car was doing and the lady didn't recommend they put it on a machine they ask when did I have it service I stated it was due! She quoted me a price . I paid 987 for tune up to have a list of recommendations and how I should watch for leaks because he wasn't sure but my water pump could be bad! Then on my invoice it stated how my water pump was bad so now the quote jump for 1400 dollars after they got 1000 for service. Then the mechanic lost my fuel cap and ran all my gas out! They actually didn't fix my car and cause me more problems and drove my car! My neighbor saw man in my car! Please don't take your car to Firestone on van drive! read more

Took my truck in after blowing some hoses. Come to find out I have another issue. After having my truck for 3 days they hadn't even looked at it yet. Finally was told the problems, and told them to get the parts. They failed to mention until the following day that they wouldn't be in for another 2 days. I was driving from out of town and had a windshield wiper issue during my trip. After many hours and two attempted repairs, I was able to stop into this location. The gentleman at the front desk immediately knew my issue and was able to have someone help. The lady who helped me also made sure I knew how and what type of wiper I needed for the future. Worst location ever, this is the second time I have been to this location. Last time I made an APPOINTMENT it took them over 4 hours for a simple alignment. This time I made an APPOINTMENT for the same reason and it was an hour past my APPOINTMENT and was told that APPOINTMENT to them meant drop off and they didn't have a certified technician available to do the alignment. If you can't honor the appointment firestone, then don't make an appointment. read more

Firestone employees were absolute GEMS to me. I was stranded while traveling to Nashville with a flat tire, and they helped me so much. The part I needed was not even in store, and they got someone to bring the part and fix it for me, all within a few hours. Even though they were swamped with other customers, they valued service and helped me get on my way as soon as possible. I took my car now Firestone because my air conditioning was not working. They had my car for four days they did not call me to let me know why it was taking so long to fix my car. When I called to inquire about the status of my car I never got a return call. Finally after four days I told them I was coming to get my car. I was told I needed a computer chip and they had been trying to get a price quote. I took my car elsewhere and was told it was my air compressor. They called at 10:50 as I pulled into the parking lot and said they were double booked all day and could not do my oil change. Literally such amazing service. The manager, Scott, took care of me from start to finish. I came in on a Tuesday to get an oil change. My check engine light had been on forever & no one could figure out why. He ended up figuring it out & immediately set me up to get everything taken care of the next day even though they were short staffed. Just honestly great people & PHENOMENAL service. My car broke down on I-40 the day before the solar eclipse, and I had it towed to FCAC. While I was waiting for a diagnosis, I examining the waiting area, and read their 'promise to care.' I have to say, they fulfilled their promise to me. Because of the eclipse, it was difficult to find a hotel, and the wait for a taxi was 4 hours. But the managers were gracious enough to take me to my hotel, and pick me up the next day. Frozen compressor, broken belts and battery were all fixed in about 24 hours, and I was on my way again. I was looking all around Jackson for a shop that could mount and "road force" balance 4 new tires on new rims. Youngster at the counter gave me a price of over $160.00. I walked out after asking him if he thought I was stupid or something. On my way down Vann drive I was going past the Toyota dealer and thought I'd stop there just to see what kind of crazy price a new car dealer would hit me with. When I was told $50.00, I just knew that was going to be a price for each wheel, but it wasn't. $50.00 tax included, Unless you just want to throw money away, stay away from Firestone. read more

Bob has been great on multiple occasions, explaining things in full detail and his honest opinion about whether I needed the service or not. Very, very disappointed. I have been used to using another Firestone in another state. That Firestone was near my husband's work so he always took our vehicles there. We NEVER had a problem. Here, I have taken my vehicle to this Firestone for the same routine services that we would get in the other state, and after a few miles, I knew something was not right. The vehicle was pulling badly to the right. I was unable to return immediately and when I brought it back, they told me that one of my tires and my axle was out of whack. I was told I must have driven over those indented grooves along the highway to keep drivers awake and on the road. They refused to take responsibility for anything and I had no choice but to buy a new tire. I had tried to search on my phone for coupons but my phone was not cooperating. I asked the Firestone rep if there was any type of coupon I could use. He said no so I paid full price. I get home, look up Firestone coupons and low and behold, a coupon I could have used for the tire I had just purchased. Next time, my husband will be taking my vehicle. We would go somewhere else but we have the lifetime warranty so we are stuck there until time to buy new tires. read more
