Do not waste your money here. I took my car here because my transmission fluid was low and I needed an oil change. 6 hours later I got a call saying my car was ready for pickup. I paid the bill only to have them tell me "Yes your transmission fluid is low. No we didn't investigate it or top it off. No we didn't do the oil change you requested." I paid about $25 for them to tell me that I had low levels of transmission fluid. The entire reason I brought the car in the first place. Ridiculous. read more

Had a routine inspection done on my car. After the inspection, they sat there and told me the brand new bushings I had were shot and needed replaced. Three days after the so called "inspection" and 2 of my lug posts were found to be sheared off and my rim is ruined. Never take your car here for any reason. read more

Been going to FireStone for 3 years. Last Saturday, when to get a oil change and vehicle inspection. Turned out I had something Torn, happens whatever. The thing that gets me is they messed up my tire calibration or something cause now my car ain't driving straight. Couldn't bring it back in cause I had places to be and things to-do. Called them back later and they said they'd have to charge me to fix the issue they caused.... I will no longer be going to FireStone, nor would I recommend anyone else do so. read more

we were visiting Great Falls we were from out of town. I had my daughter and my two small grandchildren. Came out of our hotel we had a flat tire so we put our little medium on and went straight to fire stone and the only place open on Sunday. We got there and they were absolutely awesome with us from the guy checking us in to the guy changing our tire fixing it putting it back on treat us like we were queens. Took all the worry out of it. Great work. They took me in at the last second for an inspection after strange noises my car was making. They diagnosed it and found that my tires were destroyed which they fixed couple days later. My steering and breaks were busted up from a camping trip I went on, and they fixed it quick. They even stayed a couple hours after to finished the job. I went from a busted up car, with tires barely holding up, and destroyed brakes and steering, to fully fixed in two weeks. With a military discount, AND working overtime. I have been going here for about 5 or 6 years. No complaints to speak of. My aux USB stopped working and i was due an oil change so i brought it in. When i picked it up they said it was all done with no problems. I immediately noticed the aux cable still wasn't working. I went back in and asked why my aux hadn't been fixed. "Oh, um...a trainee did your car and I SAW him change out the fuse." Everytine i start the vehicle it smells like burned plastic. I took it back, explained the problem....they said they couldnt smell the problem, they didnt bother checking the fuse (again). I drove it down the road and a new mechanic pointed out no one had opened my fusebox...there was grime on the box that would have shown if anyone touched it. I called F.S. and the manager said that it was ok because they hadn't charged me for a fuse. Car still smells like burned plastic. read more

This company is absolutely horrid. They are dishonest, do not finish the job as instructed, and most importantly did not do the job we drove to Great Falls to have done. We had severe issues with the front brakes. I specifically instructed them to replace the front rotors and pads, they did not do that. Instead, they told us to come back on Wednesday. Unprofessional at best. We bought two new tires and I instructed them to rotate and balance the front tires and put the new tires on the front. Instead they put the new tires on the back and did not balance the front tires. Their excuse: it is company policy to put the new tires on the back. Now I have put on more tires in my life than this boy has ever seen. I also know for a fact that he lied to me because they were behind and didn't want to take the time to do what was asked of them. This business is awful. Tires I was put in was defective. Got them rotated each time I had the oil changed. Not even a year later the center is worn down bald and outside are good. Been told by 2 different tire places the tires are defective. Corporation or business refuse to make good on them. I still have to continue to pay my tire bill. Due to poor customers service and intense upselling I do not recommend this to anyone. After thoroughly researching new mid-grade, all season tires for my RAV; I narrowed it down to two manufacturers. Since selecting Firestone I wish I would have gone with the other guys. 1. Called to order them - took several weeks of my persistent calling then had to pay $20/tire to get them "on the truck" 2. Each call they called be my the wrong name, each call I corrected them and they "entered it into the computer system" but yet after all said and done I got a thank you card printed to the wrong name. 3. The installation took HOURS longer than expected because they don't time manage their shop. I got a nail in my new tire and a quick fix took 12 hours because of that same lack of time management. 4. During the installation they called me six times to try and sell me something else. My vehicle is fairly new and gets inspected every six month at the dealership. 5. The undisclosed costs at time of installation jacked the bill making them far more expensive than the runner up (who disclosed all costs at the beginning). 6. As I paid my $1200 he called be by the wrong name and once again said, that is not my name, please update the computer. As I walked out the door ten minutes later he said thanks Julie! WRONG NAME and while that's not a huge deal after the 30 time it really is, I just paid you $1200 get my name right! read more

Yeah Firestone is under new management and the customer service is priority again. I have been to Firestone many times for routine car maintenance because of convenience even though I despised dealing with the manager. The first one was pushy, second one was rude but I am excited to see there is a new manager there. I needed to buy tires for my car & suv and Tim helped me both times. He is polite & very helpful. He was not pushy on the upsell and found me the perfect tires and at a reasonable price. If you need your vehicle worked on I highly recommend Bob. Well, where to begin. First off let me say that I'm not sure that these guys are mean spirited--well the one mechanic was an ass--which was my initial assumption, I just think they have no customer service skills and have no idea how to book clients. I made an appointment last week and took my truck in this morning at 9am to get a leak in the transfer case fixed. When I got to the shop there was no one at the front desk; however, two gentlemen were in the garage and were standing a mere seven feet from where I was waiting on the other side of the glass waiting for assistance. Several minutes pass and I wonder if they're going to come out and help me--we've made eye contact several times so I know they see that I'm waiting. Several more minutes pass and I give up standing at the counter and take a seat in the reception area where I'm still visible to these two guys. Another lady comes in and stands at the counter and waits. She and I continue to wait.... And wait.... Because I was dropping off my truck, my sister followed me to give me a ride back to the office. She comes in and asks what's the hold up. I explain that me and the other gal haven't been helped. My sister points to the two guys and says, "What about them?" "Well," I respond, "I think they're mechanics and not front end staff because they've seen us waiting here and haven't come to help." My sis pokes her head through the door and says, "Can we get some help out here?" "Yeah, we're working on it," one of the guys responds. The door closes and it's obvious that one of the guys is talking shit about my sister for having the gall to ask for assistance. He eyeballs her car, makes a comment and laughs. It looks like they are checking in some small boxes of equipment or something and finally one of the guys comes out. He helps the other gal first even though he knows I was there before her---NBD. She's getting her tires rotated. Then he gets to me and I verify that I have an appointment. I'm already wondering if I'm going to get substandard treatment because they're clearly peeved that my sister invaded their whatever-the-fuck-it-is they were doing to ask for help. He says he expects it to be thirty minutes, but I can't stay now because I've spent so long waiting to be helped that I have to get back to work. I leave my truck and number so he can call me when it's ready. Eleven o'clock-nothing. One o'clock-nothing. Two, three, four o'clock nothing. Okay, maybe they're busy and forgot to call me about my car. I call them and get put on hold for ten minutes. When the gal finally picks up I'm told that they didn't get to my truck yet. Okay, fuck it! Now, I'm convinced that they are treating me shitty because of how things went during the drop off. I rush to Firestone and go inside to pick up my keys. I'll find someone else to do the work, I don't need to have to worry about bad work or sabotage. I ask for my keys from the initial guy who helped me in the am. Looking down I see that he is....the MANAGER?! He says, "Oh, it doesn't look like they found a leak." "Really?" I ask. The gal already told me they hadn't even looked at it. The guy must know because he looks up and says, "We didn't get to it today." I ask for the keys and he goes in the back to get 'em. When I turn around the lady from this morning is there picking up her car. I ask if her car is ready and she says yes. I ask if she had an appointment too and she says yes. Wow! They are really bad at working in a timely manner. The gal is clearly as exasperated as I am and agrees. (This is why I don't think they were picking on my, but hideously overbooked) Anyway, I take my keys and jet. How is their work? I'll never know, but I can tell you that their customer service isn't good. It made me sad. I won't go back and I'll let my friends and family know too. It's just bad business over there. read more

i have used this place as my main mechanic for the last five years. i gotta say not really satisfied with the service an oil change here takes at least 3 hours the one good part is they offer a credit card that is just for them. the bad thing is im starting to doubt their competency as i have had to replace the center link in my car twice in a year and a half with them although they did do the work discounted it still feels like maybe they should have done a better job the first time around. i now only use them for oil changes and alignments as i have bought their life time alignment package. read more

Firestone needs to be shutdown. I wouldn't even consider it an auto shop. They hire "mechanics" that have less experience than a McDonald's worker. Back in July of 2017, I needed to get an alignment done, so I had them do it. I had to go back because they didn't do it right the first time. They do the 2nd alignment and it was done right but a couple days later I noticed the steering wheel wasn't center, so I took it back and had them fix it. They get it "fixed" but must've left some parts loose under there when they re-adjusted everything because a day or 2 later I heard something making a noise and looked to see what it was and the turn buckles were loose, so I took it back and they tightened them. The alignment must've gotten screwed up cause of that, because it started to pull left. So I take it back again and they aligned it but for some reason couldn't get the steering wheel straight again. I just dealt with it because I was tired of taking my truck back every other day. Going back to when I first got my alignment done, I was charged 80$ and got the 6 month warranty. 5 months later I want them to check the alignment because I know they can do it for free with the warranty so I take it to them and they lie to me and say it's been 6 months and that they can't do it unless I want to pay for another alignment. So they lie and try to scam there customers and say they're warranty is expired before it actually is. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If I had to rate them out of 10, they'd get a -2 read more

I am on a road trip from Portland, Or and while driving across hwy 12 in Idaho I went through some road construction where they were laying a chip seal road. It is not an understatement to say I had 10,000 plus rocks flying around my truck. By the time I got out of the construction zone I had noises coming from the back left tire and front right tire. I assumed it was rocks so I drove on figuring they would fall out. Over the next couple of hours I kept hearing noises so upon arriving in Great Falls I tried to find a place to look at my truck. I called and spoke to Jon at Firestone and he said to bring it on in. I arrived and they had my truck in the bay within minutes after a quick drive to hear the noise. They took all 4 tires off and pulled several rocks from the brakes. They inspected all the brakes and rotors and got me back on the road within about 1 hour. They did a thorough job but were very efficient. I assumed their would be a nominal charge but they performed the inspection for free. I cannot comment on their ability to perform major work but they did a great job with what I needed read more
