There communication is terrible. They could have called me that they could not complete my inspection.

Wanted my transmission flushed and cleaned. Was told I should go straight to the dealership. Any shop that's willing to refuse my business because they don't think they're the best place to do it will always receive 5 stars from me. read more

Rick and Bryan the two managers of this store helped me out tremendously the tire originally costed 230 dollars and Rick brought it down to 127 with free warranty on the tire and I've never felt that sort of hospitality I was afraid of using Firestone cause knowing them for being an expensive service they made it reasonable to get me back on the road to go to work and a safe car to drive in with my wife and kids. read more

I think they did an adequate job fixing my brakes. A few red flags with this place when it comes to considering being a repeat customer. One, they said I needed an oil change. I got one two weeks prior to this service being done. Two, they said I need new window wipers. I bought new ones a month prior of the brakes service. Three, they said I need a new battery. I got my battery checked with the level at where it's at and the computer said it was inits midlife. So maybe a new battery is in my future but it isn't imminent. Four, they up-charge parts well above mrsp (would be fine if they made me feel safe and secure about everything else). I called and asked about the 100% up charge and the response was as follows, "They need to make a profit" ." Keep in mind this is not an industry Im familiar with so maybe thats the status quo when it comes to up charging parts. Not my first choice when it comes to repair shops. They also didnt get my car done within the time frame they told me they would. I had to arrange transportation to work and then to the shop afterward. Im a franklin girl and recommend Gateway or Moody's. They're honest and do the job and have kept my trust since I was 16 years old. This place gets a lot of customers. They're busy. If you're desperate like I was use them. Your car will be fine... Probably.... But is that how you want to feel about the work you got done on your car? Take their advice with a grain of salt and get their recommendations checked out by your local guy you trust. read more

Brought my car in because it's older and I wanted to be proactive about issues, rather than reactive when they become big issues and I'm left stranded. They did not find nor fix any of the issues I brought to their attention. They did not seem too concerned with solving my problems... Just went through the motions. I ended up only having some maintenance done (fluid exchanges). In the days following I began to hear a NEW knocking sound by one of my tires. One does not expect to have issues created by the technicians when they bring it in for service. I had to waste a couple of hours dealing with it on my day off. They couldn't replicate it, but it's still doing it (I swear I'm not crazy). To be clear, no one was rude to me or treated me poorly, it just wasn't an overwhelmingly positive experience. I won't be using Firestone again. My hope is to find a mechanic I can build a relationship with, build trust with, and use forever. I was hoping Firestone would be that for me, but I'll try somewherelse. P.S. $55 to change a headlight bulb. Gross. read more

This was my response to their customer service satisfaction survey: Each time I came to have my tires rotated and serviced (which my husband and I purchased from Firestone) there was an issue. The car was also aligned and it was not done correctly. The manager harassed me and coerced me into saying that the car wasn't ever going to be aligned correctly because I must have had an accident in the car. He then proceeded to tell me that unless I got the frame of the car worked on then it would no longer be their problem to fix the alignment because it wasn't correct in the first place. The subsequent visits for tire rotation included being harassed into purchasing more parts for the car. This past visit they refused to fix the tire that had a nail in it and instead of rotating the tires they proceeded to try to sell me 4 brand new tires. When the manager talked with my husband he proceeded to tell him that rotation for the tires was under his name and not "the wife's name". He was not only mean or rude to my husband on the phone but also to several customers that were in the lobby. One gentleman did not have his time respected and his car wasn't even put in the bay until after he complained about how long his wait was. He had an appointment, showed up 25 minutes early and wasn't told anything until he asked over an hour later. Another gentleman also complained about the respect of his time due to needing to get back to work. Each time the manager was rude and would just say it's the way timing worked. This is the worst location for business. I should have stuck to my gut when we were first discussing where to get tires and should have said no to Firestone. I've always been told by other people to take my vehicles anywhere else except Firestone because of the bad business dealings they do. After dealing with this for over a year - I will also tell people to not take their vehicles to Firestone, especially the Gallatin location where people cannot be respected, not be harassed, and have their time valued. read more

Seems like everytime I go to this place they have an excuse for why they can't get you in or make an appointment for the next freaking week. I went in tonight 2 hours before they close, it was an employee sleeping the lobby, 3 or 4 in the garage, which was completely empty, and another guy at the help desk. Ask if they can do an oil change. The response was not today, and probably not this week. I said aren't you open for another 2 hours. His response we don't have a technician that can change your oil. Seriously? Three or four guys out in an empty bays and none of them can change oil? Why the hell did they hire them if they can't change oil? Ridiculous! I will not be going back. They're always rude anyway so what's the point in giving them my business. read more

I don't think it should take 2 hours to get an oil change. I made an appointment a week in advance to avoid having to wait. They do change the oil and leave a sticker (sometimes) to let you know when to come back. My appointment was first thing in the morning (as soon as they opened) and waited in the lobby for over 2 hours. No point in making an appointment when you have to wait for so long anyway. read more

The Firestone in Gallatin, TN where I took my car seemed to replace things that were needed on my car, i.e. alternator, battery, speak plugs and wires, fuel filter. Too bad that didn't fix the problem I went in for. My car proceeded to break down (twice) while I was on vacation. I had to tow it and leave it with another Firestone in Madison, AL where I pray they will find and Fix my problem. So, my first experience with Firestone has not gone too well! read more

Fuck this place. I took my car in because my break caliper was messed up. They said they had to replace both front calipers, rotors and brake pads, $867 total cost. I said no, and took it home. Took the tire off all it was, was a missing a $5 bolt on the caliper. They very obviously saw it when they looked at it this morning. Put the bolt in and my car is as good as new. Please please nobody ever go to this place. They will try to rip you off as much as they can. read more

I've only been there once so far but I'm going back today. They are so friendly and helpful and give the impression that they really care about helping me get good service. Such a good, refreshing change from many of my other experiences where staff seems indifferent. read more

Yesterday I called and gave the codes my car was showing and it seemed to be the spark plugs. The guy gave me the price something like $497.00. I said ok and we decided to check things out first to make sure that is was the spark plugs. This morning a lady called and told me it was the spark plugs and that they wanted to clean the intake too. She told me it's an additional $117.00. I asked so the spark plugs were $497 right? She said no it's $398. I said ok well I was expecting to pay $500 anyways so go ahead with the cleaning too. Then my mother in law called to pay the bill this morning(her car) and she paid $701.00. Come to find out they charged an additional 99.00 plus labor. When I explained to them tHis was not what I was told this morning, they would not budge on the price or refund. I was expecting $398.00 plus $117.00. I have gotten mix service over the 15 years I have going to firestone but mostly good. They just lost a long term customer that has spent 10's of 1000's with them. I am in sales and have been my whole adult life and I would have never gotten away with what firestone did to me today. Last time I went to the Gallatin Firestone was several years ago. Ruined my entire history of experience with Firestone. I just needed the air checked in my tires as I was going out of town. They said 15 min which turned out to be 2 hours at which time the service man called me up and handed me a sheet of paper with 10 things that needed to be done totalling $2,400. Only one thing needed done and I went somewhere else and the rest of the recommendations on the print out turned out to be bogus. Never will I go there again! read more

I just called them about some work on my Ram dually. I wanted an alignment and my parking brake adjusted. They can do neither one. They told me they mainly do tires and oil changes. I think they should remove "complete auto care" from their name. Ridiculous. read more
