I went to turn on my car after service, and it wouldn't turn on. Dead battery, seemingly out of nowhere. Long story short -- several team members assisted in trying to jump it, to no avail. I picked up a new battery and they installed it, going above and beyond the service I expected. They just did it to help me out. They truly care about their customers, even when it had nothing to do with their original services. I can't thank them enough for their help today. Real deal, amazing people.

UPDATE 1/23/26:…read more I've been going to Discount Tire for years. Always helpful & quick service. Today's visit was for a rotation & balance. Appt at 8:15. Granted, I was dumb & chose the day before snow-mageddon to do this, so the wait was longer, but it's overall been longer each time. Appointments only help so much. The wait time tracker is almost pointless. They (assuming driven by Corporate) book too many appointments, not leaving adequate room for walk-ins. People will arrive after me without an appt but be serviced before me. Churn & burn. Everyone is overworked. Back to my point - Somehow, they didn't have a deep socket for my lugs. I saw the guys looking through the cargo area of my car for a deep socket. I think it'd be courteous if they asked me first before searching my car. I could have told them nothing was back there. Just stop & think about what you're doing for a second. Shoutout to Jaime (always great service) - he went to Lowe's & bought a deep socket to get my car done while I was there & even gave me a socket to keep my car for next time. Talk about an awesome guy! 1.5 hrs later, my car was done. I get home to find another nick on one of my wheels (special order from Japan; took 3 months to get). And, yes, it was definitely DT, as I check my wheels closely, and this time it was next to the lug nut. It's the second time it's happened. Once when I had the tires & wheels installed, and today during the first rotation. The guys in the bays are simply going way too fast. They're overworked & paid too little. I'll just do own rotation going forward. It's not worth the wait & continuous damage to my wheels. I still love Discount Tire & will return. But, Corporate, in the rare chance you read reviews, allow more time between appointments & maybe implement additional training in the bay.

I found Bowles to be very professional, very reasonably priced and a delight to do business with. My husband and I were discussing and it is like stepping back it time to when customers were appreciated and respected. I recommend. They have done an oil change, replaced spark plugs and installed 2 new tires this week. I have an appointment next week to get my other vehicles oil changed. They did not try to pressure sell in any manner. They actually said I could probably wait a bit longer on spark plugs but my husband wanted to get them handled now.

I've gotten three different alignments at Gateway Tire & Service Center. The first one was on my…read more'99 Ford Explore. It drove okay but the steering wheel was off center. The second alignment was on a '84 Mercury Capri. The guy had no clue what he was doing. I had to tell him what part he could move to put it back in alignment, it drove well. The third was the one that made me realize this place didn't have a clue on what they were doing and it cost me $100. This one was a '16 Toyota Tundra and this "gentleman" was having the hardest time trying to get the toe on the right side to move. Unfortunately this wasn't needed because 5k miles later my front right tire was bald on the outside of it. So I had to go to the dealership to get it lined up the right way. Don't waste your money at this place, you will regret it. And the people working here at the time were not very professional.
