I took my SUV here to find the culprit of why it was losing coolant. After a full inspection of my car, the reason was my water pump had decided to bite the dust. Also, the wrong brakes had been installed previously on my car (not by Firestone), resulting in my car shaking a lot when I was braking. They were very upfront with me, and understanding when I felt that the price was steep. They showed me the issues while my car was on a lift, and also pointed me in the direction of coupons to help with costs. Everyone I had the pleasure of talking to was extremely friendly and helpful. I will 100% use this Firestone location again! Their customer service was 10/10. My car is back in commission and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. read more

This place is a straight scam and full of liars. I do work on my own car but occasionally take it to a shop when I'm lazy. This specific time I went to Firestone for a safety inspection. Took about 45 minutes and they told me my tie rod was loose. I was quite confused cause I just replaced them probably a few months before. So upon failing, I drove home, jacked my car up and took a look. Absolutely nothing. Outer inner and boot were all in perfectly fine condition. They wanted me to pay $400 for something that would cost me $30 to buy myself. Just recently a friend went for the same thing and they told him his control arm was bad but he has proof that it was replaced one month before. This place scams tf out of you. I just wonder how many people fall for the bs they put on a paper. I don't know if it's just this place on base or what but there's definitely way better mechanics near here. read more

I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment and my vehicle went in the bay ahead of schedule. This location does accept coupons, except they do not accept them digitally - not a big deal since I had mines printed out. They do have a nice size waiting area but with COVID-19, I decided to wait outside. I was given an estimated wait time of 75 mins and my oil change and tire rotation was done in 45 min. I recommend this location, just make sure to make an appointment because they are a high tempo location. read more

I strongly believe this business does customers wrong, especially female customers. I had a previous poor experience after getting a routine oil change and tire rotation. Dropped it off and after I got it back, there was a sharp noise from one of the tires. Had to take it back to ask them to address the obvious noise the tire made during turning. So, yesterday I took it in for just an oil change. At pick up, was recommended that I get a new battery because there was corrosion on the terminals (which took me an entire 5 minutes to clean up). I turned their offer down, and coincidentally the next day when I tried starting it, it would not turn over. Stay away from this car service center that preys on customers. read more

We started taking our cars here because of the Firestone brand and we automatically assumed that it will be done right quickly and for a reasonable price, especially since this is located directly on the military base, just know that this is the most expensive car repair store in the area. I believe they charge you 60 or 80 dollars just to run a diagnostics on your car, do not do not, go here; find someplace else that is more reasonable, there have at least 6 dealerships in the Saint Robert /Waynesville area if you need car repairs and they are expensive but they are cheaper than taking it too Firestone. read more

I freaking love these guys. Kens great every time I call, Mikes also been extremely friendly on the phone, I'm shocked at the reviews because they've been honest and fair with us. We've gotten quite a bit of work done here and I've been happy with it all. We will continue to use no one else in the area. I told them I needed four new tires and they could have run with it and said this ladies a moron but instead they called me back and said that wasn't the case. Had repairs done here over the years with no major issues. The prices do seem perhaps steeper than I'd like, but getting an appointment isn't hard and I haven't had an issues with workmanship, up-selling, or magically appearing vehicle issues (like when my wife brought her car to Jiffy Lube in Austin, Texas and they said 'oh you need a headlight, its out' and she found they had just unplugged it.) Seems on par with other Firestones. To the reviewer complaining about diagnostics, a computer check often does run that much-- the diagnostic equipment runs 10-25k to purchase and around 1000+ a year to keep up to date. Add trained personnel to use it and actually diagnose your car and the time spent, you can see why it costs money. I've never heard of a doctor giving a free 'diagnosis' and don't know why anyone expects mechanics to do the same. The computer code is only the first step to identifying the fault. Lazy mechanics just keep fixing parts until the code goes away AND you pay for each and every repair, necessary or not. read more

My daughter recently moved to Ft Leonard Wood to be with her new husband, an officer on the base. I checked out her car and told her to have someone rebalance the front two tires and she should be good to go. I had recently had an oil change done(700 miles before this happened) and the new tires weren't due for a rotation for another 2500 miles. There were stickers on the windshield showing this information. She asked for the front tire balance; however, they rotated the tires and balanced all four. The mechanic told her there was no oil on the dipstick(this vehicle does not burn oil) and instead of adding oil they did a $55.00 oil change. A couple of days later my daughter drove over to Lake of the Ozarks(about 40 miles). On the way back she started hearing some disturbing noises coming from the front end. She called me and I told her to go somewhere else to have it serviced. They said it was a good thing she came in because all of the lug nuts were loose on the two front tires and her tires might have fallen off. Even though Firestone is right on base; my daughter and her husband will be passing them by and using someone else. read more

What's more, they saved me about $300.00 - $350.00. Always pleasant to do business with and always willing to help.
