A terrific, friendly, patient and very professional young lady. My first exposure to this store was she, and that was a very encouraging start. When I went for the appointment, I found the store spotless, to include the very well organized shop area. The gentleman handling my appointment was Gerry...a friend whom I'd never met! Great guy! As with Gabby, he was patient, knowledgeable , efficient, friendly and welcoming. My mechanic was Ezikeal...yet again, professional and efficient. He did a great job! This is my absolute go-to shop, now. They didn't up-sell me. They knew what they were doing and how to do it. I was very happy with the cost, and very much felt that I got my money's worth and then some. How often are you actually pleased to pay a mechanic's bill? I was - at the Daytona Beach Pep Boys! Anyway, I had a big road trip from east to west coast Florida. I called another 4-5 star place for an oil change appt. They never got back to me. Time running out before the trip, I took a chance here. Even worse...I was going to try a walk-in. Believe me, I saw the poor reviews and was nervous. But my former gf's grandma is a happy long-time customer. Well, I'm glad I came in. Lucked out, and they weren't too busy. After a quick chat with Brad, he rush-ordered the special oil my Dodge Challenger (SRT with scat pak), got the beast in the bay, and they went to work immediately. I know it's hard finding a good auto shop and everyone may have different experiences, so I wanted to document my great experience here. Brad also said as of three years ago, it's new management, so maybe that helps. Finally, treat the people there as the specialists they are, and hopefully you'll have a good experience too.

On…read moreMonday I picked up my car after having a complete AC system replaced. 30 minutes after leaving, the AC vent was expelling hot air. I called the office, Denise answered and I explained that I was not able to come back today due to the time of day and being far away. I told her that the next morning my wife had cancer treatment scheduled. Denise said come in when you can. Tuesday afternoon I took the car back. It was after 3 o'clock, Denise said there was not enough time to evaluate the car and fix before closing and asked me please bring it back in the morning. She asked me to be there at 7:30am when the owner John would be there. I agreed and showed up Wednesday morning at 7:30. I meet John no small talk, no asking what I did to the car, just professionalism and calm, and he just asked for the key and as soon as he had evaluated it he would tell me. He said the compressor had failed. By 11:00am it was fixed, a new compressor installed at no cost to me. While I was very stressed out, they were calm and always told me they would fix it and they did. These people are trustworthy and honest. They stand behind their work. My husband dealt with everything when it came to our cars. When he died, I was screwed. I called Honest-1 because my car would not start. Matt was absolutely the most amazing calming person I ever spoke to. He took care of everything. Of course I go back out in my car starts. I am bringing my car in - at least I don't have to get it towed ... and Matt gave me a little advice. Apparently if you drive your car less than 50 miles a week it's really bad for your battery. When taking it to another mechanic, he told me that my oil was really dirty considering that you just recently did the oil change two weeks ago so that wasn't something I would want to hear. Not to say my car needs the work, (because before you even started the work, you gave me a car fax report on all the issues which i thought was "pushy". I think you could've done a better job addressing the reason for my initial visit....oil leak - not the other (100) reasons.

They replaced the battery without loss of all of the programming in the car (entertainment systems, etc ). I also voiced concerns about tires. Alignment of front end causing uneven wear, AWD car, tires replaced--but I also wanted a wider tire footprint on my heavy Touota 4Runner to be more confident driving on sand (Beach, etc.). They went to a website, guided me through options & choices until we found what appeared to be the perfect tires. The car now handles better, rides great... The also have competitive oil & filter changing svc AND can rotate tires at the same time which is best for AWD (All Wheel Drive) cars. They also did a safety & mechanical/brakes/belts/hoses/fluids/lights check. Being in the Publix shopping ctr, I can drop the car off for oil/filters/tire rotation & overall checkup while getting provisions for the week and have the car done by the time I'm finished. Well after I pressed him a little more since having a tire issue on the road would be much more of a problem than buying a new set of tires pre-maturely. Knowing my Jeep probably better than I do and also knowing what I like and my level of expectation he started calling around to see what was immediately available being my travel plans were only a day away. After providing me with a few options he inform me that Tire Outlet had some Yokohama Tires in stock and although it was nearly 3:00 PM they could swap the tires and balance them before they closed the same day. This shop goes above and beyond, they emailed a photo of the tires and quoted the tires and work out the door with a promise of no surprises. This entire process went down over the phone and was executed flawlessly. After doing a walk around I took them for a test drive and found these Yokohama Geolandar X-AT 295/70R17 to be the perfect solution, they look great and just aggressive enough that I am confident they'll perform how I need them to - after dragging the Jeep to the Keys I know I made a good decision. I applaud the Tire Outlet's employees for the exceptional customer service, workmanship and amazing pricing and most of all doing what they promised...
