I was driving and had a piece of metal that went into the side of my tire, which was making my tire leak air very fast. I went to Monroe tire along with Firestone tire in Cranberry Township and neither of them would come out and take a look or help me in the situation and it couldn't wait until the next day. I had a spare tire and they wouldn't even put it on. I went over to Goodyear tire and they didn't hesitate to help even when they had a lot of cars that they were working on currently. read more

I brought my car here to get the tires replaced and aligned. I picked it up and while driving home I noticed that the car was veering to the right whenever I had the steering wheel straight. I took it back and asked them to look at it again since it was not aligned properly. They acted like I was inconveniencing them and came back out not even twenty minutes later and said it was good to go. It was still having the issue once I left again so I just took it to national tire and battery where they properly aligned it. But firestone refused to refund me even though they did not do the work properly and I had to pay someone else to fix it. read more

I asked that a tire be inspected for a possible leak. They were thorough, including dismounting tire and taking it off them. But I think this was overkill. They could have just splashed it with soapy water. It cost me $26 to find. I had no leak and they told me it would be the same price for EACH of the other tires. I can't say I was dissatisfied because I was able to figure out what was wrong, but I do have to say I had the same service performed last year.Just Tires and there was no charge read more

More details from my last review as upon leaving it was discovered that the service tech did not do my requested oil change causing me to return for another appointment days later. At which point, it still took them an hour and a half to "prioritize" my oil change. Nothing done to offset my extra trip and wasted time. I made an appointment the day before, to which their website showed 8 available slots for the next day. I made my appointment, got my confirmation, and thought I was set. Then the next morning an hour before my appointment I get a call from Ashley saying my appointments been cancelled because they're too busy. Then they inform me they don't have availability until the following week. She was not helpful what so ever. Went in for a simple oil change. Dropped my car off the night before, and received a call the next day saying a few things "needed" to be done including new brake pads, alignment, and something with the suspension. I said oh boy how much is this going to cost me (i am always quick to get a second opinion from another garage) the person on the phone said "$200!" I responded "WOW! that seems really low can you confirm it's only $200?" and they confirmed. When i went to pick my car up, they turn the credit card machine around and sure enough... it says $2,200. I have been lied to, taken advantage of, and scammed. I will never go back here and i recommend nobody else make the same mistake that i did of trusting Firestone with your car. read more

I was in town to visit family and encountered snow. Decided to get some new tires. After a few phone calls to various places, I chose Firestone. Not because they were cheapest, but because they could get me in. Quoted price and time. Said they would be done in 1 hr. 15 minutes in, they let me know it would be another hour, as their 'system' was incorrect indicating they had 4 of these tires in stock. At the end of a total of 5 hours, they were complete. I asked if Firestone had any policy in place for their customers in this case, he said no. I know that with my work, if I am late, there are consequences.... I will never go back. read more

I came here after searching oil change in cranberry. I made an appt online for 5pm. I also left a note saying id be there early (appts are only offered by half hour). I arrived at 445 and the lobby was full of other folks waiting on their car. Thankfully their lobby is cozy and offers coffee and tv. My car didn't even get taken back til about 530. Finally around 6 I was ready to go pay my bill and head on my way. They informed me of some issues with the car that I was unaware of. I will personally get a 2nd opinion but it was nice that they did a courtesy check. Even though I waited over an hour, the guys were all very professional and kind. It was my fault for waiting until the last minute and having to get an oil change mid week. I'm sure an early Saturday morning appointment would have went much smoother... Stuff comes up while working on cars and then most of the time customers want it fixed. I still recommend these guys. read more

What I had yet to realize was that this had happened in quite possibly the best place possible, as across the street was Firestone of Cranberry twp. The team at firestone treated me with compassion and kindness, and managed to fit me in on an extremely busy day. Not only were they able to get the parts in as quickly as possible, they were able to make the repairs with efficacy and efficiency. I have only been here once, and hope to never be here again. That is only because it is a car repair shop that is not where I live, though. See, on the way back to the Toronto area from Florida, our car had a terrible mishap near Cranberry Township, PA. Thankfully we were able to get off the exit and get quickly to this Firestone, because if we'd gone any further we would probably have wrecked our engine. The service here was fast, friendly, and sympathetic to our situation. There is always a certain amount of helplessness in these situations, but I felt like the car was in good hands. It was returned to us the next morning without a hassle, and it's been in much better shape since. Went in for a nail in my tire and a disgruntled employee wouldn't even look at it or repair it due to " corporate policy". I'm fine with that, but don't be an arrogant jerk and push people off because you're miserable. Of course, they were willing to sell tires! Guess where I'm never going again. I recommend using this establishment for tires only, and NOT for auto service and repair. For reference, on Dec. 15, 2018 Firestone Complete Auto Care of Cranberry Township, PA quoted a price of $759.78 to replace an upper control arm and ball joint on my 2007 Suburban. I just had the work done at an independent shop in Wexford, PA. for $393.71. In another example, the shop quoted $95.69 to replace one fog light bulb on my Suburban. The bulb itself retails for less than $20, and can be installed with simple tools in 5 minutes. My 2-star rating is an average of 5 stars for tires, and 0 stars for everything else. read more

I refuse to take any vehicle I own to this location again . Very unprofessional. Took my vehicle in last month to have a state inspection/emissions test and radiator fluid leak repaired. On way home, my car kept stalling within a mile of this Firestone location. Had to pull off the road. Called Firestone. They had to have it towed back to shop. Turns out they didn't properly reassemble my engine. Picked up vehicle next day. Drove it home. Engine was now hesitating. Still leaking radiator fluid. Took car back to Firestone a few days later (shortly after they had opened). As told by the woman who works there I had to schedule an appointment. Luckily the ,Sanger stepped in and told me he would have this leak looked at. Could tell I was not happy I had been charged a lot of money and still had leaking. Eventually found leak was coming from bottom or engine now, and had to order special parts (foreign car; first mistake I made was trusting Firestone). Told me would call me when parts came in. A mon5h went by, and I never was contacted by Firestone. Ended up getting a 9 am appointment ent on June 25th. I sat in the waiting area for 5 and a half hours. Turns out all they did was replaced the water pump and some other piece. I was never consulted what the problem was, and how much this would cost. A longer haired guy gave me the repair invoice, and only said that the check engine light was on, and would not pass emissions testing that day (come back). He was not very friendly. Went to car. Started it up. Check engine light was off. Went back inside. Spoke with another store manager (Am leaving specific employee names out). Told me I had to drive the car to get the radiator coolant to basically dry off so CSR would pass emissions testing. Still vague answer. I proved for how many mikes I had to drive. I basically have to drive my car 25 miles on 5 separate occasions. I am extremely ticked that this problem was not also discovered when my car was in there last month. I ended up making three different trips to this Firestone to repair this issue. I do not drive now, and am isolating at home per doctors orders. I had a splenectomy years ago, and am at a higher risk during this pandemic. Workers at this Firestone location can give a shot about that. They were not very friendly toward me today. I even saw someone drive my car out of the lot onto Route 19. NO idea why. Was never told. Was explained absolutely NOTHING ABOUT ANY NEEDED REPAIRS or costs before they were performed neither. I have already contacted Firestone customer service by both phone and email. Am waiting for a callback from the regional manager of this store. I am done with Firestone. My car still needs an emissions test too. One I paid in advance for. I cannot make heads or tails of today's invoice either, the math is not adding up. Absolutely horrible! I had my car in for an alignment a couple of weeks ago. I had requested that they get the steering wheel straight so that it's not turned when I'm driving straight down the road. The last time I was here, they set it crooked & rather than go back immediately & complain I figured I'd wait until it was due for another (lifetime) alignment. They did not set the steering wheel straight, it's actually in the same position it was prior, which makes me wonder if they even attempted to align my car & rotated the tires. The car drove worse after I got it back. I thought maybe the wheels needed balanced, so I took it to a local shop to balance the tires & discovered that I had two bent rims! You would think that Firestone would have noticed when they rotated the tires & preformed their "courtesy check." This really leads me to think that they didn't even touch my car. I had to buy a new set of wheels & I will be looking for another place to get my car aligned from now on. I will never go back to this Firestone location ever again and I will let everyone I know know about the horrible experience that I had at this location. read more

I was looking for a set of Firestone Destination Tires and did some "browsing" and "shopping" early in the day online. I found the tires I wanted and set an appointment for later that day to have the tires installed (the online database indicated that the tires were available for install later in the afternoon). I showed up at this location and was told by Paul (who could not have been nicer) that the "system does this all the time" and that "the tires would not be available for two or three days." Paul apologized, indicated that he would call me once he did some more research to figure out when exactly the tires would be available for install and would make it right since I would need to come back for a return visit. However, I have yet to hear anything back. Although I cannot complain about the customer service while at the location, it seems to me that in this day and age that corporate needs to figure out the online inventory issue. read more

If there were a zero star rating, that's what I would have given. Fast turnover of jiffy lube guys who don't know an exhaust system from a spark plug. That and misleading sales and service tactics turned me right off. Last week I spoke with an attendant to make an appointment for wife's vehicle state inspection to occur this week. No mention of any requirements to drop off the vehicle. So I make all of the arrangements to take my wife's car instead of mine, coordinate with a neighbor to drop the car and get a ride to/from work. I arrive at Firestone, my neighbor waiting out front, go in to drop my keys and the attendant will NOT accept my drop-off without my registration and insurance. I get the need for this paperwork before the car is final inspected and picked up. But there was NO mention of this requirement to drop off the car. So, I run out to the car and grab the documents. The attendant then says NO GO because it is an outdated insurance card. She literally will not accept my car with the understanding that I will obviously provide current paperwork before final checkout. Like I've done for 40 years of having my vehicles inspected. I have had my vehicle serviced at this location for years, thousands of dollars of service, btw where they have made plenty of mistakes that I have been understanding of. So, I had to leave and tell my neighbor they wasted my time. Oh well, I'll need to chose one of the dozen other options in the Cranberry area. read more

The guys that work at the Cranberry Township Firestone went above and beyond to help me. I was stuck across the street at a gas station with a flat (torn) tire and a broken jack. When AAA said they couldn't help me for 2 hours (long after Firestone closed), one of the Firestone guys drove over to help me put a spare tire on my car and get it to the shop. When we realized the front tires were a different size than the back tires, and that they didn't have the one I needed in stock, one of the techs DROVE TO A NEARBY STORE to get the tire I needed and put it on for me--even though it was after hours. So they not only drove all over the place to help me--which is absolutely not in the job description--but they also stayed open almost 2 hours later than they were supposed to. I was in the middle of a 12 hour drive and very far from home, and these guys really came through. Best service ever. read more

I just wanted to share with you my experience at Firestone in Cranberry Township on route 19, June 2, 2014. I went to have my car aligned. I told the mechanic Chad not do to anything with out talking to me first please. He called and said " my front left wheel bearing was grinding and needed changed, also the back left and right had slight play and all 3 should be replaced." I said thank you, please write down the parts and information and I'll check into it asap as I needed my car the next day when the work could be done. I called my father he said we could check it out and do the work. Well today my father and I spent a few hours taking the front left wheel apart to find nothing was wrong. My dad thought this at first when he did some tests but we mistakenly trusted the mechanic Chad so we kept going. Finally we get down to the wheel bearing to change it and it looks brand new, no metal bits, turns smoothly etc. So we take it up to the auto parts store where I purchased the parts, all 4 male mechanic and employees said oh that looks brand new nothing is wrong with that. They tried to pull one over on you because you area girl with an old car. We said thanks and left and went to another auto shop and asked them when they thought, again that nothing was wrong. with the wheel bearing or anything for that matter. I no longer trust Firestone, after this awful experience. I do not have the extra $300 to have work done that does not need done. I realized I have an older car; however, you do not need to try to scam me because I am a female with an older car. Places like Firestone are exactly why I always check with people that know more about cars than I do. I am aware that cars are not my expertise as I am in the medical field and do not appreciate being taken advantage of because it is not my area. I will not be returning to Firestone no matter how convenient it is. (I live across the street currently). read more
