Customer service is always great but everytime I get an oil change, something else is miraculously wrong with my car. After the last oil change, my sensors now read 0% oil and my car is overheating. As soon as I pulled off the lot I got a car overheating warning. Need less to say I won't be going back even tho the customer service is good. Costing me too much money. read more

Firestone missed a scheduled oil change that they notified us about and when there was clearly a sticker showing a past due oil change ahead of my son taking the car back to school and then 12k to 14k miles later the car ran out of oil and cut off in traffic and now we may be facing a $4500 repair. For more than two months now Firestone won't even provide their insurance carrier information so we can file an insurance claim. I had been going here for a couple years with multiple vehicles for service and had no customer service issues until now. Now I can't ever consider using Firestone again in the future and they are forcing us to involve an attorney just to get Firestone to make their error right! So far I've spoken to the "store manager" Mike Robb, the "In-house claim rep" Gil Leon (TN) & a number of chats and none were any help and none provided insurance carrier info after I asked so possibly the attorney can get this info but why make an otherwise great customer have to go to the expense and hassle when you are clearly responsible. read more

Firestone at Mall of Ga has been mine & my Husbands go-to for tires on 5 different vehicles for the last 8 years! They have have always been quick, honest & open with your options! They listen, work with you & have always compared multiple tires at a time to show you different price points to work with your budget. They've never suckered us into additional warranties or made us feel as if opting out of them was the wrong decision. (Although we always buy the warranties & they HAVE come in handy!!). I purchased tires today- and they were installed, alignment checked & paid for in an hour and 15 minutes! The service was beyond outstanding. I called on a early Sunday morning after visiting several other shops on Saturday. It seem like nobody in Georgia had my tire. My tires are run flat so luckily my tire wasn't deflated. Scott was very helpful and let me know that ONE tire was in stock. I drove from Buckhead to come to the shop and get my tire put on. When I arrived Scott was at the front and had a great attitude. He checked me in and my car was serviced faster than I expected, especially a walk in appointment. Stopped in at 12:40 to an empty lobby, and asked how long for an oil change. I was told an hour to an hour and a half at the most. "We are moving pretty fast today". I was on a tight schedule so I left the car and walked to get something to eat and returned an hour & a half later. I was told it had not be looked at yet & was not ready at 2:15 PM as promised. When I asked when it would be ready I was told it might not be done by closing at 5:00 pm, and could a get a ride home? Apparently these morons think 1 hour equally 5 + hours? So when I was running errands by the mall and got a nail in my tire, I thought I would pop in here and check it out. I have never waited more than an hour to have a tire plugged for a nail. It took over 4 hours. Even heard one of the guys on the phone talk about how they hate doing tire repairs. Well, this tire repair could have been a long term customer in the end. Fire stone is the worst place to fix your car you cannot trust them working on your car specially if you have what they call life time warranty like alignment Every time I take my car to the alignment they always come up with something I need to be fixed so they can make money to fix it . This is not right this is called rip off . One time I took one off my car to do the alignment they told me your car is not in our system we cannot do it less you have the receipt . I use this location every time I need work done on my vehicle. The people that run this location are simply the best at what they do and treat their customers with care and respect. I have tried to sell myself brakes about five times and it is refreshing to find a mechanic that doesn't try and sell you services your car really doesn't need. This place is amazing. They are honest, quick, and affordable. I've taken 4 cars in my household here and they provide great work. Work done here include brake pad replacement, ball joints, a broken dip stick, alignments, tires, rotation and balances, they do it all. I highly recommend this PARTICULAR store and associates. Was able to schedule service same day, after having an awful experience hitting a pothole, bending a rim and waiting 2 weeks for the replacement to come it was an absolute relief this shop was able to re-mount and balance my tire and perform an alignment in about 35 minutes. I have been a loyal customer for 20 years but I will never use this company again. I purchased a 5 yr battery for my car at this location that barely made it to the 3 yr mark. I called the store and was surprised when they informed me that the battery doesn't necessarily last 5 years and they told me I need to buy a new one. I asked why didn't they sell a 3 yr battery instead of making me pay for a 5 yr one. All they said was well it happens and they can't do anything about it. I had taken my car in for an appointment I had for Brakes and an Oil Change. When I showed up for my appointment, they told me that one of the techs called in and they only had one tech and it would take a half a day to finish my car. I was not pleased and told the girl she should have called and told me that before I made the trip to Firestone. I had to drive to work on Monday with brakes that were grinding and I was petrified to stop. I sent an email to Firestone on Monday and telling them I wasn't happy with what had happened. The manager called me 15 minutes later and told me he would like to take care of me by offering to replace my brakes for FREE! When I got there Monday after work, I mentioned to the gentleman there that my appointment was originally for brakes and an oil change but I would be thrilled to get the brakes for free if they didn't want to do the oil change for free. When I picked up the car, they had suprised me by doing the brakes AND oil change for free. Now if that isn't great customer service, I don't know what is. Thank you manager at Firestone! Went in for an oil change and tire rotation and came out to be told my brand new Toyota's belt & battery were bad. Was told that the belt was dry rotting and it needed to be replaced and my batter was a 3.5 and needed to be a 5. They also showed me my air filter that was dirty. Long story short, I allowed them to replace my air filter but wanted a second opinion on my battery & belt. The man basically told me my car wasn't going to last without it.. I went to Elite Auto Tires and explained everything allegedly going on with my car. He checked it and laughed and said your brake belt is perfect and tested my battery. He brought me into his shop and showed me a bad belt and a good belt and walked me back out to my car and asked me what my belt looks like and I said it looks like a great belt. So the moral of the story.. they really do try to take advantage of you. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They have to up-charge to meet their goals. Now I'm wondering if my air filter was even bad to begin with. Such a scam of a place. Grateful for an honest shop to tell me the truth and save me money. read more
