AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Staffs were unprofessional and rude. I dropped by on an early weekday morning to ask if they could mount a brand new set of winter tires (bought from an online dealer) to a set of spare rims. The place was a ghost town and the staff still refused, saying it was not worth their time even though I was paying for it. On a different occasion, my wife's car had a flat on the way home so we had to get it patched here. They also did a complementary vehicle check and recommended a new engine air filter. We declined the service and went home. Five minutes after leaving the store, the engine was shaking itself out of the car every time I got on the gas pedal like it was being choked (not a problem before visiting the store). After limping home, I opened the engine air filter box and found a ball of leaves/debris shoved into the airbox, blocking the filter and preventing any air from getting into the engine. After cleaning out the airbox, the car ran perfectly fine as it did previously when I drove to the automotive parts store to get a new engine air filter. read more

I was 2.5 hours away from home when my tire went flat from a screw. I installed my spare and called around to find a shop to repair my tire (at 9 am on a Sunday). Other places quoted me that the wait may be up to 4 or 5 hours long! Luckily, Firestone, which happened to be only less than 5 miles away, took me right in, fixed my tire and put it back on my car quickly. I was in and out within 45 minutes! Picked up a Dunkin iced coffee next door and went on my merry way. Big shout out to service manager Jason Basile for taking care of me! read more

These guys used to be very pleasant and helpful. But apparently things have changed! The new manager, who informed me has been in charge since November 2023, is pretty much a prick. I had new all-season tires shipped there, like I have in the past. He refused to install them because of the brand of car. Fair enough they are free provide service or not, it is a free country, but he was so obnoxious about how he did it. Nor did he care that he was leaving me in the lurch ahead of cold weather. His whole attitude was one of get lost before he even spoke with me. I suggest you avoid "under new management" here. I get the sense he would be fun to work for. Luckily their competitor up the street, Sullivan Tire, was much more pleasant and accommodating. They got it done on the spot and everyone at all levels was super pleasant and helpful. read more

Horrable service .made an appointment and waited 2 hours. For 2 tires to be balanced and installed. After 2 hours they tell me my rest tire had a leak and they could fix it for 20$. Seriously after 2 hours. I would have purchased 2 more tires but I didn't want to wait 2 more hours. Tech s were rude and so sloppy looking. Then we get in the car and grease and tire matter is all over the floor. Aren't they supposed to put paper down. Thanks. Can't get the grease out. Listen...After reading a lot of the other reviews, I feel like I must preface my review with something, a disclaimer...Be that as it may, I can't thank Josue and Shawn enough...Walked in on a Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend. Just struck out at two other tire shops. And I had a nail in the wall of my tire and rim. I had a very important long distance business trip in a few hours and the desperation was mounting. Josue with an extremely kind demeanor listened attentively to my problem, summoned Shawn who quickly diagnosed the flat tire issue. Fortunately, they had my 2023 Chevy Suburban Premier tire in stock...And an hour later I was back on the road, smiling and humming to stereo. Thank you Firestone. Give Josue and Shawn a raise! Bad Service and Salespeople Had a service belt and some other work done on my truck that cost about 2k then 2 days later the water pump blew up and my truck had to go back to the shop. Too coincidental that after that work more things go wrong with it. Also, the person I worked with was racking up the items on the invoice and trying to sell things in an aggressive manner and belittling the choice of vehicle that I had. In years past this would have been a 1 star review. However, with age and wisdom I have learned to consider compassion and human error. I was here today 5/23/22 at 1:00p for a broken tire stem on my 2012 Honda Civic. I called in advance to make sure they actually handle these kinds of things. Management was very polite and having signed up for a Firestone credit card on the spot I learned my repair fee of $40 would be free. Update next day. Total cost was $112 to change tire stem and valve. Now my TPMS light is on and I have to come back. They said it could be a faulted tire pressure valve smh. Now today is 5/26/22 and I just picked up my car. They kept my car all day just to test all 4 tire pressure sensors to tell me to take it to Honda because it is a computer issue. If that was the case I would of went to the dealership in the first place. I was charged $112 for a product that wasn't properly calibrated to my cars computer. To add insult to injury, I was taunted at the front desk when the store manager Olvys Martinez, told me I was being rude and that he was going to give me a refund but had "changed his mind". I told him I wasn't being rude but as a shop you are indeed incompetent and I have already reported them to the better business bureau.. as of 6/5/2022 I received a refund. I ordered my brand new tires from Tire Rack and decided to have them delivered to Firestone. I then set up an appointment easily on a Saturday morning to have them put on. I chose Firestone simply because they were an option when I was ordering online and they were down the street from my house. When I arrived for my appointment there was zero parking in their lot and the guys in the garage were less than helpful. I ended up making my own parking spot. I waited in their small waiting room for about an hour and a half. I brought a book, and could have possibly enjoyed it, if not for the loud and annoying TV that was just playing the same infomercials on a loop. Why bother having a TV!? Turn it down or at least put it on a decent channel. I know this probably seems like a small concern but honestly it was THAT annoying. Then the whole thing (changing my tires and doing an alignment) ended up costing me $220. I was thinking about $150. I feel overcharged. With that being said though, Firestone has an alignment lifetime service, and they do free alignments every six months. I guess maybe that's why? Anyways, overall experience was just meh. Worst of the worse. Went in on a Sunday to have my brakes done and it was taking forever. I walked to the front of the bay and the kid doing my brakes looked like a kid trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Called the manager over and he spoke to the kid doing the brake job. Once finished I started hearing a loud clunking noise so wound up going to a mechanic who produced photos of how the Firestone tech put the wrong pads on. Had to go back and wait again to have them redone. I had to watch like a hawk. I also called Firestone who said the district manager would call me. Never happened. read more

I set an appointment to have a tire repaired via their bs "road hazard" package, only to be told I needed a new tire...I then had to keep following up with them daily to see if they even found it and they said no...I then called a regular, non firestone shop and got my tire replaced the next day. Got Good Tire deal on Bridgeston Turanza. But tire rotation still not done well, my car shaky during drive, I went and asked to fix it, they tried but still not fixed. If you plan tire change or any like oil change you have to wait lots... go this place if you free couple of hours (for tire rotation 2hours minimum required, to change tire 3hours). Bought 4 new tires and shortly after I left my tire pressure light came on. I called and was told it was normal because the air in the garage was warmer than the air outside. The next day the tire is almost flat I brought it back and was told there was told there was nothing wrong and that they put more air in it and sent me on my way. The next day the tire is close to flat again. I bring it in for a 3rd time and was told it was weighted incorrectly. While I was waiting I noticed their mission statement done right the first time. Made an appointment online for a coolant exchange and thermostat replacement, and even stated in the notes that I had the part. Appointment was confirmed so I made the necessary changes from my daily travels to arrive at Firestone to drop off - I get there and give them the information and tell the person that the thermostat is in the car. I am then told that they do not take outside parts. Which is odd, since they do take tires bought from Tire Rack, etc and put them and align. Yet somehow buying a part instead of them marking one up to sell is not taken. Furthermore, if the appointment request clearly states that I have the part then why was it confirmed in the first place?? Obviously made it inconvenient, yet made it clear that this place is not worthy of doing business with. read more

This place is the worst!!! They charged me $1,400 to replace my catalyst and O2 sensors which is about $300 more than the usual Firestone I go to and about $800 more than what my reliable mechanic would charge. Long story short, they claimed they did the work but it was never fixed properly. My inspection failed 3 times with the same problems with the CAT/O2 sensors. I had to bring the car in 3 times for the same work they they claimed to "fix" every time. They blamed the problem on the part manufacturers without accepting any type of responsibility. They finally fixed it the 3rd time by using parts that weren't cheap. Extremely unreliable and the workers at the front desk have no remorse for their poor work quality. Service: Attentive, Personal and Diligent The guys here are down to earth, easy to get along with and diligent. Diligent is a word that I rarely get to use when describing customer service because it's rare that someone is willing to genuinely anticipate your needs and follow through on it. These guys do just that. I was in town on business with an Enterprise Rental Car that blew a tire. I called Enterprise's roadside assistance and was instructed to bring the car into any Firestone location, show them my rental agreement and they'll take care of the rest. That's pretty much exactly how it worked out. I walked in said I had a flat tire, showed them the agreement and I had to say no more. They saw, they knew and they acted. Diligence. They made a few calls, filled out the paper work, I sat down and they got to it. A little while later I signed a few repair orders, got in the car and drove home. Ive gotten auto work done many times at Firestone and have always been satisfied. They tell you what should be done, what will need to be done shortly and what is working well and then let you make the decisions no pressure. They do a good job at checking everything when they do an oil change as well. They also have a special oil change price in the mornings (i think its just over $10 for an oil change 8am-10am.... $15 for my truck). Which is a lot better than the Jiffy Lube, Lube Tech etc prices. The best way to do it is make an apt ahead of time so that your not waiting a crazy amount of time. read more

They overbooked with clients but they only have 2 technician. I scheduled an appointment for oil change but ended up staying there for more than 1 hour. My hood keep popping up so I had to go back and ask them fix my hood after I tried to close my hood for a few times. It ended up coz there is something stuck under hood. Staff is always nice, get every oil change, tire or brake need done here. I never make an appointment I just drop by and they always make time. Most recently, I got my brakes done, noticed a noise right after. I went back the next day, they noticed the brake pad they installed was moving around and replaced it right away for me. Checking in was okay, but the other dudes was rude. Took them just under 2 hours to do tires, and they brought my vehicle right in.

I brought my car in for an oil change and they quoted me for a bunch of different things. They said I could use a new air filter so I took them up on it. I ended up paying $160 for everything. My car ended up stopping and shutting down the day after in the middle of Quincy because the air filter wasn't secured in place. I had to get my car towed.. also I now have a leak in my oil filter thanks to them which I will be bringing back soon. Very upsetting. read more

I have brought my truck to this Firestone location twice now, and each time have been blown away by one of their service advisors, Andre. He has gone to bat for me with my warranty company to get repairs paid for my them so I didn't have to pay out of pocket, he's made solid recommendations on needed repairs, and has advised me against others. At this point, I trust him enough to bring the car in and ask him to just do whatever needs to be done to it. He communicated regularly throughout the repair process, and again a few days after it's done. Can't say enough good things about him. One negative piece of feedback I have is that I bought a new battery only to find out it was never put in. When I went to look for the new battery, I realized they had left the old one in. I brought it to the manager's attention who was working, and they rectified it right away. read more

I brought my fleet vehicle here for the first time because I had a flat and needed 2 rear tires. They tried to get 2 more tires plus fluids and wiper blades which were recently replaced. They raised a red flag to my fleet manager who shut down service completely on the account until I called to explain. They held me captive; wouldn't plug the flat and wouldn't do any repair until fleet approved. Four hours later I was relieved to just get the hell out of the place. I had them put on 4 new tires and breaks on all of my tires. Unfortunately replacing my valve stems on my tires was something that was overseen. Two out of the 4 tires that are brand new, keep going flat and I've had to take time out of work to go back twice to this firestone to fix it. Not only was I patient and allowed them to keep my car overnight as they were swamped, I get the car back with a 1/2 ass job. I blame the fact that this location is completely under staffed and has to much volume for the lack of help. read more

I was totally impressed with how fast they repaired the right front axle of my FedEx work van along with front brake pads. Jennifer is a rockstar there, very responsible and told me she and the mechanic stayed past 8 PM to make sure my work van was fixed. No other shop will do that. The work they did on my car had to be fixed elsewhere. They charged a high price and did shoddy work. This place is horrible-unscrupulous and bad workmanship. If you have a choice between lighting your money on fire or going here, burn the cash. At least that way you'll know for sure how much you'll lose. My mother went here for a simple oil leak. A week later it's still leaking oil and her car is at a different mechanic who is fixing the original problem AND the damage they did attempting to fix it. The second mechanic was so horrified when he saw her car that he drove it back to Firestone, had them put it on a lift and asked them if they still wanted to continue to deny they messed it up. Needless to say they gave her money back. But we are now paying someone else to fix the new problems Firestone caused. Oh and they tried to talk her into a bunch of work she didn't need. Jose, Jonnie, Calvin. These are the names of the young gentlemen that took care of my fiance and I Tuesday morning. We had a bad flat tire and despite our lack of car knowledge, we refused to pay to change a basic tire, that's something anyone should know how to do... It was harder than expected however. Eventually we slowly drove to Firestone where I asked the boss of the establishment if I could borrow a Lug wrench (as we didnt want someone to do the work for us and just needed at least better tools) he gave me excuses regarding liability and so my fiance and I were left in their parking lot pondering what to do when *Cue Super hero music* two mechnaics (José & Jonnie) exit out of the shop and kindly ask what the problem is. Eventually all three of the mechanics were hands on helping us while still letting us get familiar with how to avoid and handle this situation should the problem arise again. My husband took my car in for an oil change at Firestone in Braintree MA . We go there all the time believing they were doing a good job, but recently It seemed like every time they would find something wrong that cost big bucks. This time they told him I needed something done under the car that would cost 400.00. Decided I wanted a second opinion before spending that much. He just went today to someone he knows well who said that he couldn't find a thing wrong .... that sometimes the oil from the oil change will leak down and look like something was wrong. The absolute worst! They told me once I needed a new engine on a car I owned so I sold it to a friend for parts and bought a used car for less than an engine job. My friend took it to a "real" mechanic, they replaced a fan so for $200 my friend drove my old car for two years. Today I went in for an oil change, was told to come back at 8 am but it should only take 40 minutes. Went back at 8, the service advisor couldn't get off his big butt to wait on me properly. I mentioned the 40 minutes and he said it starts when they start working on it. I asked when that would be and he said he had no idea. He was rude, lazy and condescending so I said I'd go somewhere else where I wouldn't get misinformation. that's when he got belligerent and told me to suit myself, too bad. I will NEVER go there again, recommend them to anyone - and I do business with a lot of people in Braintree. If I were his manager he'd be fired on the spot.
