I came here for a brake replacement as they had the best price in town. They were able to give me this price over the phone, whereas other places needed to see the car first. It was easy to call ahead and see what the wait was. The time quoted was accurate and the process was easy. I dropped the car off and got a ride so I did not have to wait there. I returned on my own and even though the car was not ready yet, I found the waiting room welcoming. First off, there is lots of natural light. There is a small TV and some magazines, but I did not need them. The refreshments could have been better, but at least the chairs were comfortable. I was only waiting a short time and my car was ready. They even had time to do a courtesy check on my other car to see if the brakes needed replacing. This was free of charge! read more

I'm going to start by saying this was the only location I could find that was open at 7am on a Saturday to get my car looked at. My wife was getting ready to go on a road trip and the engine light came on. I wanted to get it checked out before she left. I quickly looked up service options and this was the one that opened the earliest and when I called they said they would work me in. I got there shortly after opening and true to their word they got me in, in minutes, even though they were already knee deep in customers. They diagnosed the issue... a throttle actuator.. which once they dug into it they said they need to replace the throttle body at a cost of 1200! Fortunately while I was waiting I did a lot of Google research on the issue. What I found out was that most mechanics just want to replace the throttle body, with this issue, instead of first just trying to clean it and resetting it. It does take a mechanic to do this.. it has to be removed, cleaned, and then recalibrated and synced to the car. Not something that I can do... heck I can barely change a tire. I asked if they could try cleaning it... they figured out how to charge me for that... and two hours later and 800 less in cost my car was working and my wife could go on her road trip. They did good work, got me in when they were completely booked up, and did the right thing when asked to. I'm not big on franchises, but few places offer a 1) lifetime (as long as you own the vehicle) wheel alignment and 2) national network that you can take that vehicle to. Firestone offers both. Probably the best thing about them is they aren't named Pep Boys . . . but lets not go there for now. I was able to get an alignment for $209.99. They give a 10% discount off that for seniors. The only bad thing about their pricing is they still subscribe to that nonsense of adding "shop supplies" at the end when the bill is produced. So the 'real' price should be published as $226.79 + tax. Don't go in thinking you'll be paying their published price of $209.99 + tax. I'm surprised that game is still being played by shops like this, but shame on me for not asking up front . . . I just haven't seen that done much any more in other places and quit asking over the last few years. I arrived for my 10:00am Saturday appointment on time. Yeah, I know, 10:00am getting your car serviced is a brutal way to spend a Saturday morning, plus Saturdays are always busy. But I was way overdue and was about to hit the road. The bays were busy. They said it would be "about an hour", but I was in and out in 45 minutes. Yay! I got 15 minutes added back to my Saturday. Annnnnnd there's nothing worst than an hour turning into an hour and a half turning into two hours all while sitting in a waiting room watching a home fixer upper show. I'll be taking this vehicle across country, so it will be great to know I can take it to any Firestone franchise to get it aligned at no cost for as long as I own it. In summary, other than the "shop supplies" game . . . its clean, employees are friendly, they get you in-and-out on time (even on a Saturday), have a great pay once/lifetime alignment program and give a 10% seniors discount on services. read more

Yesterday, I phoned this store and spoke to Hunter. Having been to the store several times in the past I was aware of their former pricing. I specifically asked for the price of an oil change, and Hunter told me that I could get it for the same price that I got it last time which was about $52. I drove almost 20 miles this morning to the store specifically because of what Hunter told me. When I arrived at the store; first, another employee, Tom, told me I didn't have an appointment even though I made the appointment for 12:30 today. Tom gave me the price for the pool change, which was higher than I had been quoted. I told him, "but Hunter told me..." and he cut me off. He said no buts -- very rudely and "you do it or not." Then I said I need to speak to Hunter. Hunter came and spoke to me. He told me that he had only been there a month, as if that was an excuse for him misquoting the price. When I told him how far I had driven based on what he had told me the day before, he said that I shouldn't have driven so far to the site. He also ask "why am I quibbling over such a small amount?" I asked to speak to the manager - the manager is Toby. He was tied up at the moment, so l waited. When he was finally free. I told him what had transpired. I told him that his staff members were rude and unprofessional. In the past, Spencer had been the manager at the site, and I had always received very good customer service. Toby, tried to negotiate a lower price for me but still did not provide the price Hunter had quoted. Although Toby tried to make it right to some extent, I feel he is ultimately responsible. The employees who work for him are rude, unprofessional and poorly trained. They will cause this store to lose business. I will patronize other stores in the future. read more

Firestone has always been amazing to me, however, there has been a noticeable change in customer service, and quality of work ever since Spencer left and Toby, the new manager has taken over. When arriving this morning for a 10am appointment (to fix a repair they made three weeks prior to my car) I asked if they could have it finished. Toby immediately said we are unable to work with that time frame it will be here for the day. I accepted that and ubered home. While stepping out of the Uber the receptionist called me saying my car was finished and to head back up. Toby gave me an unrealistic time line and immediately did not want to work with his customer. I'm incredibly disappointed with the new management and their lack of communication, transparency, and customer service. With all of that being said Destiny who has been there for three years will forever provide top notch service and communicate in a transparent and professional manner, she is the only reason why I continued my service with Firestone today. She is phenomenal, ask for her prior to any management. read more

Might be the worst shop ever. Car wouldn't start, brought it to them. They told me is was the starter, so 5 days later, new starter, still won't work. Then the thought it was the terminal cable. Took over 2 weeks to get the part - since they ordered it wrong. $865 and a month later, they told me the car was good to go. Picked it up, son took it to work. Wouldn't start. Called them, the manager would not talk to me, made the receptionist ask if I was going to bring it in - said they wouldn't tow it since they have no relationships with towing companies. Had both of my vehicles service in a two week period, had the Alignments done. Service was outstanding and done quickly. Did not pressure me to have any other work done. Just showed me air filters and asked about oil changes if I would like them done. Also brought to my attention that one of my batteries was due for replacement. No hard sell on any of these services. BEWARE: They will try to take you for all you're worth if you don't closely monitor what you're paying for. The incompetency here is quite impressive... Went in for 4 new tires and an oil change. I had quotes for the tires and a coupon for the oil change that should have totaled about $450, which I thought was a great deal. When I got back to the office, of course, they called to tell me I "needed" about $500 more in services to my 2 year old car...I politely declined. I went two hours later to get my car and was shocked when they said my total was $600 (a far cry from my $450 quote). Upon re-showing my quote the price was adjusted but I really feel like they were trying to take advantage of me simply because I am a woman and just were hoping that I wasn't paying attention. I will NOT be giving them anymore of my time or money. I will definitely go there all the time for free tire rotations but that's about the extent of it. I feel bad for those that have probably slipped through the cracks and have been taken advantage of by them. The only reason that they get 2 stars is because my car does drive great with the new tires! My advice just is to be really careful when it comes time to pay and look closely at what you're being charged for!!!! UPDATE: I got my car and started driving home from work when my TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) light came on flashing. I pull over and realize that the whole system is broken. Bring my car back to Firestone this morning to fix this, since it was obviously due to them putting new tires on...and they say they can't! Not only that, they say that I have to go to a Honda dealership, pay and that they will reimburse me (obviously). So I actually ended up wasting another 5 hours or so of my life driving to Honda, waiting, coming back to Firestone. Oh, and they made the issue worse before I went to Honda so I got to hear erratic beeping and sensors going off for the entire drive there. I brought my truck in for an oil change and an alignment early 2021. They took at least 2 hours to complete the work, past the time they told me it would be ready. As I drove off to head to an appointment over an hour away I realized that they had messed up my alignment (pulled hard left) and I had to take my truck back into a Tires Plus to fix the mess this Firestone had created. I called the manager and he apologized and offered me a free oil change on my next visit. I brought my truck in for my free oil change, coolant flush, tire rotation and alignment, and to replace a filter. Henry said I was next in line and that it wouldn't take long to complete the work. He said he would call me back shortly to tell me the cost of the filter before I would let them install it. He called me back 3-4 hours later to tell me my coolant flush was complete. When I asked him again about the cost of the filter he told me his guys were still looking into it. Car service professionals here apparantly need hours to look up the cost of a car part. When I asked if the oil change was completed he told me there was nothing noted on my account from the manager for a free oil change and that his manager was on vacation. Henry said he would call his manager who was on vacation and get back to me. I called back around 20 minutes later to see what was going on with my truck. He said he'd left his manager a message and never bothered to call me back. Then I asked if my tire rotation and alignment were done. He told me I'd never asked for one. I actually stated twice that I wanted it done because he seemed a bit distracted and I wanted to make sure he heard me. My mom also heard me tell him. When my dad went in to pick up my truck after they had kept it half the day in limbo just to do a coolant flush, Henry told my dad that neither I nor my mother had asked for a tire rotation and alignment. My family and I will never use this Firestone again (loss of 6 cars regularly serviced there;). If you let them work on your car, expect your car to be returned to you in worse condition than when you gave it to them. If you ask them to do anything don't expect the work to get done. If the manager says he will give you a free oil change after messing up your car, do not expect him to actually note your account or do anything to make amends. And, when they don't do the work you requested, expect them to call you a liar and say you never asked for it. Their behavior and skill level at this location is appalling!! read more

Where do I start... I took my car to Firestone because they gave me a quote to replace the AC compressor at a better price than the dealership. I have had 3 sets of tires purchased from this location and use to think they were the best of the best. They told me I did not need to replace my compressor but instead recharge the compressor. That didn't do anything so I took it back and asked them to replace the compressor, they replaced the compressor and there was a loud knocking noise whenever the AC was on. I took it back for a 3rd time and it only got worse. They replaced the compressor again and I even figured out that the first compressor was a remanufactured compressor... I paid for a new one. The 2nd compressor that was actually new and not remanufactured was installed but not without the technician breaking an engine belt. They tried to charge me to fix their mistake. I was not paying more than the $2xxx+ I had already paid. I finally get my car back and the coolant was bone dry... not even a drop. I noticed my car was running hot and smoking so I went to the gas station and bought coolant. I would NEVER go to this or any other Firestone again, you will not get what you paid for and the technicians need to go back to school. Henry/Spencer hung up TWICE on me and refused to give me the technicians name for me to leave in the review. I wish I could give 0 stars, this is a fraudulent business. The staff changes day by day as they cannot find anyone consistent to work at this location... let this be your sign to go somewhere else and don't live the nightmare they put me through. read more

Don't waste your time coming here. If you're a woman, they will 100% try to swindle you. I called on the phone last week to see how much it would cost to repair my rear brakes, gave them the exact make & model of my car, & was told it would cost around $176, coming up to $190 including tax. I went in today & was first told (before anything was checked) that front pads are around $149 & rear pads are around $169. They check my car & he comes back and tells me the total for the rear pads would be $196 (including a $40 off coupon). Even though it's more than what I was quoted on the phone, I agree since it's only $6 more. They do the work and when it's time to pay, all of a sudden the total is $212. With all of the price fluctuations, I am sure it was a case of being taken advantage of. I don't believe rear brakes are normally $252 (which is what the price would have been without the "coupon"). I was charged $104 for labor. A simple brake pad replacement that took them 25 minutes incurred a $104 charge. I definitely won't be returning back here and I wouldn't advise anybody to waste their money here until the employees are able to be honest with their customers. Pep boys & Midas may seem more expensive initially, but at least they are transparent & aren't out to trick you. Stick with one of them! read more

Very unfriendly, mean and arrogant. I went into the store this morning to get some details about the brakes and if possible (as I didn't have an appointment) a brake inspection. The guy in the store (someone with a beard, didn't catch his name) wasn't patient enough to answer atleast one of my questions, he doesn't want to give any information and was responding with LOT of bad attitude. I used to have bad experiences at this location a few years ago(advisers tried to upsell things, didn't seem to really care about customers, technicians drove my car to/from the bay like in a race...etc). But all those staffs were gone since my revisit from a year ago. I now have very positive experience with this location! Last year I had the adviser Dennis, he was very friendly and knowledgeable and truly care about the customer. He even looked up the recall info for my car and we chatted a lot about the car. The most recent visit I had the adviser John. He was also very friendly, humor, knowledgeable about cars, and you can feel he cared about his customers! We chatted about the cars and my car was ready in about 20 minutes! I would definitely revisit this location and recommend this location to everyone! read more

A couple of weeks ago I had a flat tire and pulled into this store. I was really in a hurry, as always. First of all, I thought every tire store carried Michelins, but not this one! Then, Would you believe they didn't have one single tire in the whole store that fit my car!! Of course they said they could have one couriered from a nearby sister store in about 15minutes. That didn't happen! Forty minutes later, I saw the same guy that looked at my car pull into the parking lot and get a tire out of the back of his vehicle. From the time I pulled into this store until the time I left was very close to two hours. The manager never came out to give me status updates and never once apologized for the long wait. they outright tried to scam me.went in because my engine light wqas o.told me i needed 4 new oxygen sensors and a power steering switch which would cost $1606.00 decided to get a second opinion from another service station.turned out someone unplugged the sensor switch and caused false readings.firestone should be ashamed.I am a senior citizen and I guess they thought they could take advantage.btw the switch was plugged back in by the other service station and the system reset without needing any repairs.my total cost was $56.00.beware in dealing with these people read more

Nothing ever seems to go quickly at Firestone. I'll take the car in for something that should be simple, get an estimate of when it should be done....and based on that I wait for the car. Terrible idea. Nothing is ever done when they say it will be. And even though they have "scheduling" on their website, it's first come first serve. So there's no real point to making an appointment. I've been told I need to be there at 7 am if I want anything done quickly. I have one of their "lifetime" alignment services...but I'm not going there anymore anyway: I'm sure they'd just find something else that needed "fixed" (5 hours after the job was supposed to be done). read more

I was pleasantly surprised to receive prompt service. It all started with a phone call for assistance with RPM issue. They were able to schedule an appointment the same day, 2 hours later. I received a complete diagnostic of all issues related to the overall condition of the vehicle. However, I only addressed the RPM issue during this visit. The checkout process was great! I was happy that they accepted the coupons from my cell phone. The only issues I had was that they entered the wrong quantity for the number of parts needed for spark plugs (8 should be 6). This of course increased the price somewhat. My front passenger tire was missing the lug nut once I got home. Unsure, if it just wasn't put back on properly (tight).
