Super easy process and phone agents or front desk people are so helpful! Advanced check in was awesome and key code entry was a plus! Great location across board launch, paddle boarding and kayak rentals. Clean rooms, pool and hot tubs outdoor. We definitely recommend for families with elders and kids!

Would stay here again. Why? Wasn't here for more than an hour while awake. In fact, most of the pictures here on Yelp are unrecognizable because we arrived late, checked in with no contact from anyone (message with door code included) and left without going to the front office. Had WiFi. Big plus. Had mini-fridge and cups. Two sinks (one in bathroom, one in mini-kitchen-ish thing). My gas fireplace was on when we got there. Didn't adjust it so it may have been on the whole time we were there. I think it's a thermostat-regulated appliance but like I said, didn't touch it. Might have been on when we left? Clean towels, clean shower, clean room, fireplace. Weren't there for 12 hours total. Did the trick. Not sure I'd be thrilled about staying here for much longer. Very close to the road, across street from Lake Tahoe.

Absolutely stunning location. I wasn't sure what to expect arriving late in the evening. But my goodness the next morning I was glued to the balcony doors. Watching the sunrise was amazing and very close to the beach across the street. Very cozy room great for a solo trip or a couples trip. Love the fireplace and the overall layout. Definitely grab a room if you are looking in the area. Seamless check in. Excellent communication.

I couldn't be happier with my stay. I only did one night, which does not allow you to enjoy the experience. Will definitely be returning when my schedule allows for longer. First, I'd book directly through the site and not airbnb. This way you can choose your room, to avoid some of the issues other have named, ie. Noise from neighbors, etc. I picked the lake view room which is the top floor. I was at the end which was great as I'm sensitive to sound. Unless you can pick on airbnb which it didn't seem when I tried at least. It was also cheaper directly through the site. View. The lake view is mid, as the kids say ha The trees block some of the view. But it's not a direct lake access hotel, so I wasn't too upset. It was still lovely to look at and relax. There is an ice and water station which is appreciated. The room was very clean. I was excited with how clean it was. You also get 3 seperate cleaning needs in the shower. Not that 1 in 3 mystery blend some places offer. Only thing, I don't think there are actual front desk people, but they are available via text. But I could be wrong. Looked closed when I tried to enter and they had the contact number posted. There is also no elevator that I saw. Last thing, they have a very cute set up for work for all the remote workers which will definitely have me returning to utilize that! It's a perfect remote set up.

    - Everything we expected and more! Highly, highly recommended - The lodge is just a road away from the lake - Beautiful lake and mountain views from the third floor room window - The room had a small kitchenette; sink, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, wine glasses, wine opener - It also had a thermostat-controlled fireplace which was AMAZING - The balcony had two chairs and a table - The bathroom was spacious, no toothbrush/toothpaste provided - Enough drawers in the room for all of your stuff - Pool and hot-tub were closed due to COVID-19 - Free parking - Restaurants nearby, within a 10-15min drive either way - I would come back and stay here next time

The view is so beautiful from here you can not see it from certain rooms but when you walk outside you see the lake It was very interesting cause it was all without seeing someone there is legit no one at the front but you can text them and they are pretty good at responding There is a fireplace as a heater and it was beautiful and it was pretty clean the hdmi in the room didn't work but that's okay we were able to screen share so that worked out I do very much recommend here and I would be back when I come back to north Tahoe

View of pool, some snow, and parking lot from our balcony.

Location & Grounds: The setting is incredible, well-maintained, and hard to beat. Units & Amenities: Unfortunately, the units haven't changed much over the years, especially considering what they charge. The mattresses are very uncomfortable, the TVs barely work, and many of the amenities feel outdated. The sauna never seems to get hot enough, and I've always wondered why a hot tub has never been added, it would be a great improvement. We also found that basic supplies like toilet paper were very limited. This property has so much potential, and with some updates to the units and amenities, it could easily be a five-star experience. My entire family feels the same way. We love coming here and hope the owners invest in modernizing the accommodations to match the incredible location.

No one is maintaining this unit.

Bed, even though a Murphy is quite comfortable. Having your own assigned parking spot is super convenient. After hours check in was straight forward & easy. The private & protected swim/kayake launch area is great. BBQ's are plentiful & work great. Loved watching the sunrise & sunset from the pier. Had a great time playing ping pong. Full kitchen is stocked & great for preparing meals. The not so great: Temperature in the room runs warm, no matter what you do. We left most windows open 24/7 & were still warm - even with snow outside. To complicate that - leaf blowers...run all day long. Do they carry around extra batteries? No joke - from 8am to after 5pm, it doesn't stop. When you have to leave windows open to not boil in the room - the noise from the leaf blowers = nousicance. The pillows are crazy full. Make your neck hurt firm. I ended up filling my own pillowcase with a small blanket I brought. If you trade through II, for a sleeps 2 privately/with a kitchen - that's exactly what you get. A room with a kitchen in it. It's pretty intimate to co-habitate for a week together. We did ok but it would be awkward if your not super close/familiar with each other. $25 a day "resort fee", no matter what the season & no matter what type of room you have. No kayakes, no pool - doesn't matter = $25 a day. We won't be back, unfortunately. Might be better in a larger unit during a different time of year.

There is a private beach for lake activities and only 15min from Northstar ski resort. Safeway grocery store is less than 1/4mile away and lots of restaurants close by. Laundry facilities are free but there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers for the entire property. Detergent is $2 and can be purchased at the front desk. Because of a snow storm we could not make it on the first day and arrived late on the second day. Between the many complimentary amenities and thoughtful touches, I felt the premium price was well worth it. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Alec at the front desk. He immediately offered us water, champagne, or apple juice, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. He was kind, personable, and genuinely enthusiastic as he shared everything the Hyatt has to offer. His excitement was contagious, and he made a wonderful first impression. The bell service was also excellent. They quickly unloaded our luggage upon arrival and made both check-in and check-out seamless. It was another thoughtful convenience that helped set the tone for a relaxing stay. We chose a first-floor room with a patio that opened directly to the pool area, and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made. It made going back and forth between the room and the pool incredibly easy, especially with children. Some of our favorite amenities and thoughtful touches included: The Hyatt provides cloth wristbands that serve as your room key, giving you access to your room, the pool, and other resort areas. This was one of our favorite features! We never had to worry about carrying a key card, and the wristbands stayed on comfortably throughout showers and swimming. Water refill stations are conveniently located throughout the resort. The casino is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Lockers stocked with towels are located outside of the hotel for easy access when leaving for the beach. There are a couple of beautiful beaches just across the street, only a 2-3 minute walk away. The concierge service was outstanding. I can't remember the young man's name, but he helped us on Tuesday, August 4. If management knows who was working that day, please extend our sincere thanks. He explained the complimentary kayaking, directed us to the beach, and arranged shuttle transportation. His customer service was exceptional. Although the Hyatt beach is temporarily closed for construction, the resort has arranged access to nearby private beaches for guests. They also run a shuttle every few minutes, making it very easy to get around. If you're looking for a livelier atmosphere, the public beach is only a short drive away. The pools were wonderful. The main pool is heated to approximately 80-85°F and features a fun cave area. There's also a kiddie pool, plus separate hot tubs for adults and children. Poolside service was an added bonus. Every evening from 5:00-10:00 p.m., the resort provides complimentary s'mores kits that can be enjoyed in a fire pit near the pool area. This was such a fun family activity and one of those little touches that made the stay feel extra special. The café opens at 6:30 a.m., and if you order regular brewed coffee, you receive complimentary refills until 10:00 p.m. that evening, a great perk for coffee lovers. The only area that fell short for us was the food. Most of what we ordered was fairly heavy and greasy. To be fair, there is a Cyclospora outbreak in the US, so we chose not to order fresh salads, fruits, or vegetables out of an abundance of caution, which limited our options. The main restaurant "cutthroat saloon" had live music which made dinner enjoyable. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby, however, and we didn't get the opportunity to try Osteria Sierra, which may have been a better dining choice. My only other criticism involves one interaction with room service. After providing my room number, I asked if I could order room service, and the employee replied, "Well, that's why you called, didn't you?" It came across as unnecessarily sarcastic and unwelcoming. It was an isolated interaction, but it stood out because every other staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and professional. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The resort itself is beautiful, the amenities are outstanding, and the customer service especially from Alec at the front desk, the concierge, and the bell staff was exceptional. We would absolutely consider staying here again
