Next time I wonder if I can trade the bread. My friend got a cheeseburger and it looked delicious as well. The French fries are hand cut and fresh, and you can definitely taste it. The staff was very observant and friendly. This place is also a market and you can buy drinks, wine, pre-made meals to go. Definitely a place to check out if you are around the area.

The sandwich was mostly tough bun, not fully-melted cheese, and pickle with a tiny bit of sauce. I was halfway done when I finally listened to him complaining that the wings were spicy before I actually tried them and realized they were the wrong sauce. I told the waitress that we had ordered bbq and she said "buffalo ." Then "I guess they can remake them." But we had already been there a while and needed to get going. No discount was offered and we paid the $16 for the wings that won't be eaten. I've been there for functions before, but won't eat there again if it's my choice. No real attempt at customer service, just entitlement and stand-offishness.

The bartender appeared more focused on socializing than serving customers, which made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. It felt unprofessional and dismissive, especially toward female guests. Later that night, I also discovered additional personal context that made the interaction feel even more inappropriate and off-putting, which only reinforced my decision not to return. Overall, the experience felt disrespectful and poorly managed. I won't be coming back and can't recommend this place based on what I experienced.

Last time I was there I started a tab, and unlike other bars they will hold onto your card until you close out. When I go to close my tab they tell me that they don't have my card anymore and might have lost it. On top of that they make me look like an idiot asking if I'm sure that it's not in my pocket or wallet. At least they comped the single 4 dollar beer I bought, but not worth losing a brand new debit card. I would also like to mention this is not the first time it's happened and my friend experienced a similar issue in the past, at least In his case they never actually opened a tab for him. Still come to checkout and support the local music scene just always close out after every drink. NEVER OPEN A TAB.

I hate to compare but it's crazy how different two places can be in the same hotel. The service here was abysmal. We came at the end of someone's set and it wasn't that crowded in the bar but almost every single table was dirty, with empty glasses on them. There seemed to be one bartender and another person helping. That person literally just stood there talking to people instead of cleaning up the tables. The bartender was pretty rude too and didn't seem to be into working here at all. The only clean table was by the door and it kept getting opened while the next band set up so we just moved to a table with dirty glassware on it. The drinks were pretty lackluster (especially compared to the awesome ones upstairs). I don't think it was that the menu was inferior to the other, I just think the bartender didn't care. Both my drinks were watered down and icy. Pretty sad for the price to be honest. It got pretty crowded for the second set being played so we decided to leave to let other people sit. I wasn't interested in having another icy sad drink.

Live music I think nightly. Great drinks. Food too. What more could you ask for? I've seen some great bands here. Many seating options from booth in the back to tables in the middle to the bar rail. Excellent place to grab a drink, listen to music, bring a date, or come solo. Can't wait to come back!

At a near century old establishment serving steaks the whole time is a hard thing to do. There are lots of restaurants that pivot and change and use burgers to get by, but steaks the whole time is a work that needs to be celebrated. Sure Texas is known for their cattle production and Nebraska for their grain grown to feed cattle, but the beef here, is grass grown, local that could have walked here and there is something to be said about that. That's more than dance with who brung you, but rather eat em where they lay. Apparently this used to be a Butcher Shop / Bank, interesting combo before 1937. Family owned and operated for generations. I came here 3 times while I was passing thru they do alot of things well. The BYO burger upgraded to Bison is a rarity and a must. The Fried Chicken sandwich is hearty and balanced with the horseradish, tomato, pickles. It doesn't even need cheese. Rocky Mountain oysters and tender with just enough chew. The breaded cheese curds hold up well to dipping sauces which most normal curds dont. Rocker sauce is good, but never figured out what was in it. Tangy, sweet. Loved the Wedge salad, the ranch was outstanding. Prime rib after 5pm, upgrade your sides to loaded baked potato and a wedge side salad, it's worth it. The 10 oz is more like 12 and the 16 oz is more like 18. Great crust and seasoning, zesty horseradish. Wall to wall pink, tender, juicy. No sauces here like au poive or a bernaise. Save room for dessert their carrot cake is moist, soft and sweet. the peanut butter pie is a downhome classic and the oreos, my god. Service is great, prices are good for the area. Ambiance is excellent. It's a great representation of what an area can do without trying to be like someone else. I actually had their shrimp which is odd being so far from water here, they obliged me to get them all 3 ways if I ordered 2 orders.

It's especially nice when some other local steakhouses are no longer around. The ambiance definitely had a country western theme. We ordered Rocky Mountain oysters as an appetizer. I've had them in numerous other places and I thought these were the most "Stringy" or "tough" kind of like there were strings of meat that didn't want to let go... so it wasn't incredibly mouth pleasing but I know it's probably more the bulls fault than the restaurants fault! prime rib I had was cooked very well and the au jus had good flavor is probably the reason for the 4th star. They did forget my mushrooms though so it keeps it at a 4 star for me. We will be back though to try it again. The bar next door has a large dance floor with the live music so that is nice.

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite of what I expected. We were seated quickly on a Monday evening, and our server let us know she was new, which we completely understood since we both work in the service industry. Ordering was simple--my friend mentioned an apple allergy, and we each made straightforward requests. There was a slightly odd moment where the server said she couldn't ring in my friend's order a certain way because the kitchen would "make fun of her," but we brushed it off. Things really went downhill when the food arrived. Both meals were completely wrong. When the food was dropped off (by someone other than our server), there was a snarky comment referencing the apple allergy, which was uncomfortable. We sent the food back, expecting a quick fix--but it came out wrong again. And then a third time. At that point, we were honestly shocked. I've never had an order come out incorrectly three times in a row. Eventually, a manager brought the food out correctly, but there was no real apology for the repeated mistakes. Our server explained it was the kitchen's fault, but it was frustrating that no one double-checked the orders before bringing them out each time. The whole experience ended up taking over two hours, which felt excessive given how simple the order was. We also felt that, given the circumstances, some kind of comp or acknowledgment would have been appropriate, but nothing was offered. Overall, it was a really disappointing and honestly embarrassing experience--especially after talking the place up so much beforehand.
