Subway imposter but really good food nun the less! Service good almost all the time.

Chain restaurant, offering sandwiches and salad. Located in a small strip mall and has indoor seating. Walk in and place your order. Then wait. And wait one does. You are also ' presented ' with the ability to give a tip. Gee, I have to place my own order, pay for it, get my own drink. Placed an order and as for a glass of water, and was presented with a small cup. Used the rest room and found the toilet bowl growing mold. The sandwich container had lots of grease prints on it and gee, I thought I ask for no pickles. Yeppers a pickle. I guess that is payback for no tip. Never again will I eat here. read more

I have been a loyal "regular" to firehouse subs. I have enjoyed almost every sandwich on their menu. The last two times have been disappointing. Two orders ago, I specifically asked for pickles. They acknowledged my order but did not include a pickle. Besides this, it seemed like they spread only half the meat on my foot long sub. Today I ordered from the app. This time, still no pickle. Along with this frustration, I had ordered sautéed mushrooms & onions. The mushrooms were missing & the onions were included, but not sautéed. Is it too much to expect to receive what I paid for?? Disappointing... I guess I should look elsewhere at this point. Maybe it's time to give Subway another chance. read more

Came here for lunch on the Sunday of Mother's Day and the place was packed! I think we arrived at just the wrong time because there was quite a long line. I had the Smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sub. Wish that I had put mushrooms on it. The sandwich itself was a little skimpy on filling but had really good flavor and I love the Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce on it! Biggest complaint was that there was no lemonade available in the machine, diet or otherwise. I have recently given up diet beverages and have taken to making Arnold Palmers instead to cut down on the sugar (using unsweetened iced tea) but had to go with sweet tea here instead. Service was quick but the server kept interrupting me to ask about extras. Novel idea, clam up and you'll get the answers you need without irritating me. I hate being interrupted when I am ordering. They are newly opened so likely just need some basic customer service training. Sandwich (turkey and cranberry for me) was delicious. Ordered a small; they have three sizes. I don't remember what they called them but they seem to be small, big, and too big for Hagrid. (Harry Potter reference). Overall good tasting and prices seem about the same as you would pay at Subway....without the variety. Though, to be fair, they did have choices that Subway doesn't. I went at 3pm and the place was very dirty. Floor hadn't been swept on quite some time and open tables were dirty. There were 8 staff members bumping into each other behind the counter and no one doing clean up. Better scheduling and work assignments would fix that (hint for owner). I'll try again another day once they have their game on. 2 stars for now. read more

Usually Subway is my sandwich place of choice but I stopped in here one night a few weeks back. Never having been here, I didn't know what to get. The girl behind the counter recommended the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket sandwich because that was her favorite. It sounded good to me so I went with it. I was definitely not disappointed. Its juicy and smoky flavored and big enough to fill you up. The meal here (adding chips/drink) is slightly more expensive than Subway but the quality is way better in my opinion. Will definitely add this place into my rotation when I'm somewhere that has one. read more

I pretty much eat here once a week. Since opening they have worked out all the bugs and this always seems to be a good place to eat. I never have a long wait and the quality is always good. If you like firehouse subs I recommend this one. read more

Overall, I like Firehouse. The sandwiches are good enough. The only issue is really the service. It takes a very long time for a simple order, even when there is hardly anyone there. Most of them just stand around, looking very confused for the most part. read more
