We shared a slice of caramel cake and both had chips and water. $33.86 was a ridiculous price for 2 sandwiches and a waste of $$ for the quality. I've been at the hospital for the past three consecutive days while my grandmother has been fighting cancer. One of the closest places to grab something to eat has been this Jimmy John's, and every day I've walked in, Emma has been there. She has made my sandwich each time, and what might seem like a simple interaction to someone else has honestly meant so much to me during a very challenging few days. I have a tomato allergy, and Emma has been consistently attentive to my order and my needs. What really stood out to me was that she remembered my order from the previous days. Walking in and having someone recognize you, remember what you need, greet you with a smile, and simply show genuine kindness can provide a much-needed moment of normalcy when life feels anything but normal. On top of that, the sandwich has been consistently fresh, well-prepared, and exactly what I ordered every single time. That kind of consistency matters, especially when you're exhausted, stressed, and spending your days at a hospital. I mean this is what bought me in and why I don't mind paying as much as I do because what is being advertised. It really comes off as false advertisement when you don't receive the same item being presented. And if it's a situation of the items not being available, the customer should have the option to decide if they would prefer something else instead.
