It's not the... prettiest part of town to say the least, but this location has kept its environment incredibly clean and modern. I love the ambience of the place. The lighting, structure of the room, and even the lit-up menu on your right side as you walk in are all great! I love the food, needless to say. My go-to order is always a papa burger (double patties) with a side of onion rings. $12 after tax, and it keeps you going for at least 5 hours after you're done munching. And the staff are so kind! They're always super nice and welcoming :) Writing this review at 11:30 p.m. is clearly a bad idea, because I'm now craving some A&W! Can't wait to munch on a burger again!

Which is amazing. It's hard to find that in fast food. They've gone the more "diner" route. The mama burger is great. Not too much bun. The habanero chicken burger is flavourful and the right amount of heat. The rootbeer float in a frosted mug is the icing on the cake, it makes the meal. --- Service --- Impeccable. I'm actually floored. They're attentive and friendly and happy. How often do you see that? They rival 5 star restaurants for service. --- Overall --- I will definitely be making this a frequent place to visit.

The cooking oil--which in other places seems to have been around for a while--was also FRESH. That makes a difference. SO tasty. Most of their business seems to be carry out. No problem. It was pleasant to eat our fish and chips at the tables in the central plaza of Stratford--where we could watch the life of the town go by. Someone else mentioned that the portions are LARGE, and while it sounds impossible, one piece really is plenty. I ordered two pieces, and didn't even order chips (just sponged off the kids' portions--they didn't miss 'em). I still had a piece left over for lunch. But if we'd been smarter, we'd have ordered less the first time, and stopped by again for another fresh, hot, and tasty serving.
