This Wendy's recently had a renovation done inside the restaurant and it looks good, more seating, upgraded condiment and pop refill station, the ones where you can choose which pop you want and you can add a flavour to it too, pretty neat! The location is open 24/7, but the restaurant inside closes at midnight and the drive thru is open all night. My boyfriend and I have frequented this establishment a few times for a quick dinner because we were running errands or didn't feel like making anything. We went inside the last couple of times and enjoyed our meals there. Upon walking in, you walk around the seats to reach the register to order, and you pick up your order right beside it. The staff half the time looked like they didn't want to be there, but were nice and gladly explained the other side options to me since I don't like french fries. I ordered a chicken burger and a caesar salad, and my boyfriend ordered a cheeseburger I think? It took a few minutes to get our order done and I went and found a seat in the back seating area, more intimate and quiet, which is what I like. The food was hot, the salad was good and tasty and the company was great. They have also up kept their washrooms, they were clean and the overall experience was great. A great location to come back to for a quick meal. The renovation certainly made this place look cleaner. read more

Not really sure anyone could consider this gourmet. --- Overall --- I'm glad they redid the interior and exterior. It looks a lot more clean and "high-end" to some people. I visited Wendy's on Oxford at Richmond in London Ontario on December 16th and watched two customers WITHOUT masks get service at the counter in the dine in section...During a pandemic. The kicker is one of them clearly had a cold and was coughing...without a mask. The manager was there and did not seem bothered by any of this. read more

I am a SkipTheDishes Driver and I have been waiting 40+ mins. The line at this Wendy's is extraordinarily long, and the service within is terrible. I called the Wendy's to ask about if Skip Drivers were able to come in to grab the orders since we have a job to do and places to be. Good place. Good menu. Salads are a bit overpriced, but the value menu is great. They've screwed up my order once (out of maybe 20 times) when they only put ketchup on my son's cheeseburger as opposed to the very clearly ordered "only mustard". I've never waited long ever, although I would not even try to go there about last call time of the evening (or early morning) because of the line ups. (Although pretty much any food place on Richmond is like that at closing time.) Wendy's saved the day for me a while back when my son lost a tooth and I took him to the agreed upon chocolate icecream. We went to Dairy Queen figuring they had chocolate soft ice cream! Guess not! Wendy's did!!! YAY Chocolate frosties! Favourite part about Wendy's? The kids meal 'toy'. If you go to any other fast food place and order a kids meal; they ask if you'd like a toy for a boy or a girl which I hate. The girlfriend has a gluten allergy, so she had asked for the burger without a bun. Moe asked if this was due to an allergy, she said yes. While our food was being prepared, he looked back at the girl who was about to prepare the girlfriends food and told her she has to change her gloves, as this is due to an allergy. Been through the drive thru a couple of times. This is a Wendy's so take my rating for what it is worth. I gave a five because the staff have always been friendly. Plus the order mic is easy to understand versus the crackling mumbles of a McDs. Food has always been hot. Nothing much else to say, just a good Wendy's location. read more

I'm not much of a fan of fast food. So when I'm getting the hunger attacks and need a quick fix, Wendy's is my preferred go-to joint. What I like about this particular location is that they are open until 4:00 am nightly, it's close to home, and the customer service there is good. I wind up there about 5 or 6 times a month and have yet to deal with an unpleasant employee. Good on you Wendy's on Oxford!!! That's pretty uncommon in this day and age, unfortunately. My only gripe about this place is a recurring one. Usually on about 1 out of 4 visits, my order is given to me incorrectly. I use the drive through so by the time I get home and figure it out, it isn't worth it to me to go back. Before I leave the window I do check the bag to make sure the items I ordered are in there now (before I did not and would on occasion get home to find the fries or whatnot were missing). But usually the mistakes are not obvious until you are eating. For example: yesterday I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo with extra pickles. The drive thru girl rang it in just as I ordered. As I drove away I started munching on the fries - which were not hot - but accepted and kept on going. At home I opened the sandwich to find a heap of mayo! I found it strange but figured someone just went a little overboard. Nope. There were zero pickles on the sandwich but lots o' mayo. On top of that the chicken was so dry that the breading was actually lifting off of it when I bit down. I could assume that they mixed up my order with another but there were no cars before or after me in the drive thru. I really think - based on the frequency of incidents like this - that there must be someone in the kitchen with a limitation such as illiteracy. (It's like they recognize the extra symbol but can't read what to put extra of so they just guess.) I do have empathy for them. However, I realize that each time I go I spend around $8.00 for my meal. Sit-down chains that also serve takeout like Crabby Joe's and Red Lobster charge about the same price for a healthier lunch. And then there are all of the mom and pop places too. I guess my issue is that while I like the convenience of Wendy's I have a higher chance of being satisfied someplace else, as do you if you'd like to eat what you actually order. Don't eat fast food too often but when I need a quick fix Wendy's is my choice. Enjoy all food from Wendy's whether it's a beef burger, chicken burger, fries, salads or desserts and find it's the same country wide. Service does differ from some locations to others but for the most part quick and friendly. read more

Busy location, convenient for me so I come here frequently. The staff is always really nice which is refreshing, as most fast food places nowadays don't have the friendliest staff. The wait time is usually pretty long, but at least the food is always hot when I get it, I've never had a mistake on my order before either. read more
