I was driving with a sad empty stomach, and so I decided to treat myself to some Middle Eastern food. I used Yelp to find a restaurant, and Shawarma Wrap popped up. Upon entering, the place wasn't busy at all - just 1 table was occupied. The man working was very kind and polite, and offered me a free sample of soup and made some recommendations. The lentil soup was delicious so I ordered one, and I got a chicken shawarma as well. Prices are decent and food came out in reasonable time. Food was delicious and the restaurant is very clean. I'm currently writing this review on an empty stomach so I may stop by later and grab some food again!

This place doubles as a Vietnamese grocer and ran by an older couple. A small, simple, plain restaurant with reasonable prices. We were the only other couple there so service was quick. As a starter, we ordered the beef skewer which was very flavourful and delicious. I ordered pho, and my boyfriend, the vermicelli bowl. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour of the pho. It tasted a little different than the most places. The toppings were a little skimpy but price reflects it. I was impressed by my boyfriend's vermicelli bowl, not because of the spring roll and bbq pork but cause of the other toppings and fish sauce. The flavours really hit close to home. The spring roll was like everywhere else, boring and blah, and the pork was the same. We were very happy with our meals. Dinner included one appetizer, one drink, two mains for $25, how can you lose?

No idea how these last two people got that they ordered unless they're talking about the pizza place that was here BEFORE 2for1 . Anyways .. I love the pizza here and the people here are NICE! Not once have I ever experienced any rude people here ! They remember us every time we order over the phone or walk in. I've gotten so many friends to order here instead of all the surrounding pizza places . You can order a Xlarge pizza for under I think 12$ They LOAD their pizzas up with amazing cheese and delicious toppings and never hold back. The slices sitting there already made are huge , heavy and delicious .. But ordering a pizza is amazing . It's always extremely hot and we get our money's worth every time . Don't see how someone could have gotten. Pizza with mould on it .. They cook the pizzas and why would you continue to order a pizza if it had mould on it ?

Honestly Yelp? Can you do no wrong? I'm sitting in a gas station parking lot on the edge of town. I…read morewas running errands for work and I say to myself "What the heck is around here that's serving lunch, quickly, yet local?" So I pull up my lil Yelp app and BAM! Helen's Fast Food. It's parking lot is literally attached to the one I'm in (I couldnt see the building ok?). So I drive on over (I actually pulled up the directions on the app, cause I'm like that). This is a cute little spot, not too busy but I see they specialize in good ol' perogies and cabbage rolls. I'm in! I ordered the 10 perogies for $13.99. Yikes, a bit steep. I should have went for the sausage on a bun. More "lunchy" and more affordable. On their take out menu I saw an option for 5 perogies, but it's not on the menu board. This is where this spot loses a star for me, its a bit disorganized in the price/availability. Signs over top of unavailable items, obvious price changes, etc. I feel bad because when she typed in $16.00 I thought, didn't it say $13? But then of course, I forget we are Canadian, and there's tax. I was all "excuse me miss, what the heck?" and then I'm like "OMG my bad!" But she was so nice and explained that she did round up the price by a few cents and offered to give me a pecan butter tart. I politely declined but then I caved in when she offered one more time. Helen, you so sweet girl. Anywho, off to the perogies. I told myself, this would be a nice thing to bring home to the bf for dinner. Cause this is a dinner sized amount of perogies. Well that was before I tried them. Oh HELL these things are amazing. So soft and fluffy yet kind of crispy. A hint of onion in the potato and the bacon it came with? Oh yeah baby. I DEVOURED EVERY SINGLE ONE. ALL 10! I'll just say, my pants were actually tight and the food baby was prominent. It made for a very uncomfortable afternoon at work. But you know what? No regrets, YOLO, and all that. Because it was worth it. I'll happily go back for lunch and get a sausage or hamburger. Maybe even try a cabbage roll! Definitely stop in sometime when your out Lambeth way!

We pre-ordered food online. Got home after driving there to pick it up and the order was for someone else. On the bag we were given it said the order time was for 11:30 and ours was for 3:15, so the bag we were given had been sitting there for hours. Sure, I was upset when I called in to let them know that they messed up, but the attitude I received when I went back to pick the food up wasn't necessary. No verbal apology, no offer of compensation for our troubles, no offer of a free side dish or even a drink to say sorry. In the end, the food was good, but nothing spectacular. My sandwich seemed to be missing hot giardiniera that was supposed to be on it as well. Overall a terrible experience at a place I was told was amazing. Pretty disappointing, especially at the price they charge for a sandwich.
