I would never recommend getting your gutters cleaned. I called them to add gutter guards to my rental property. The sales gentleman was great to work with. When I decided on which option, he said his crew would clean the gutters then install the gutter guards. Setting up the cleaning and installation was a breeze. They assured me that I didn't need to be at the property at all. Later that afternoon I checked to see if they were done and walked around the perimeter. I was beyond disappointed when I saw this mess, especially the very old, dead rat that was at the corner of the roof line. I immediately called their office around 3:30 the same day and they assured me the same crew would return by the end of the day to clean up. Thankfully they removed the dead rat and cleaned up the mess. They did follow up 2 days after I left a review from their email survey with a phone call. I let them know they lost business to work on other properties. The gentleman wanted to know what he could do to make things right at the property. read more

Firehouse Roofing. Bait and switch marketing tactics. $299 Attic seal from pest. The bait. I took the bait and went online to schedule my Attic Seal. This is what I got. 1) Provided all my information so an appointment could be made. 2) Received a phone call to schedule. 3) I could not schedule for someone to just come out and do the Attic seal, a Supervisor had to come out first to examine the property. Ok, but I just want the Attic Seal. I was told that the Supervisor always comes out first. Ok, seems like a waste of time for two trips. Then was told how "valuable" the Supervisor's time was and to be sure we were home. ** Ok, at this point I am getting suspicious. A simple walk around the house and attic should not take two visits to seal up gaps and holds. And why did my wife need to be home?? 4) We had to reschedule due to weather, Again it was emphasized how "valuable" the Supervisor time was. At this point, I'm getting irritated with the phrase. My time is very valuable to me!! 5) Follow up call before the Supervisor came out. Again, the mention of how valuable his time is. I tell my wife, I don't have a good feeling about this, I just want the Attic Seal, but I'm bracing my self for a Marketing Sales Pitch. 6) They come out to the property. Yes, they, two people. I ask if the second person was going to do the attic seal, while the other "inspect" the property? No, they were both going to inspect. Ok, now we are going to be double teamed. 7) An hour or so later, after they walk my attic, and my roof, and my perimeter, They are ready to discuss what they find. 8) They start with my roof, and my chimney. Ok, good information, Not much I didn't already know. What are you proposing I ask. We'll get to that after we discuss everything. What, there is more? 9) They pull out a gutter sample. I say "Wait". I called you guys out for an Attic Seal, and I have not heard anything about that. "Oh, you have a few areas, and no sign of pest activity." Ok, that is good to know, I'll still like to get those sealed up. They say, "we can schedule that". 10) Then they go into the gutters, and then to the roof vents and ventilation. 11) At this point, I am no longer listening. They have not gone into detail on what the propose to fix any issues they have found or how much it would cost. 12) I stop the discussion. My time is valuable; I did not block off two hours for this and tell them I have something else I need to attend to. Then they said those dreaded words "What would keep you from making a decision today" The Switch..... They are trying to sell me something today, And it was not the Attic Seal advertised. 13) I sharply tell them "I DO NOT DO BUSINESS THAT WAY" Please email me the proposals and prices. I notice you were talking high end solar attic fans, give me the price of lesser models as well. I will take the information and compare it with others and make my own decision. The politely agree to send the information and take down the email I want it sent to. 14) Surprise, surprise, surprise, I got nothing in the email. 15) Their website does not have a way to leave a comment, nor an email address. So left a message in the scheduling section, that they need to follow up on what they promised to send me in the visit. Still nothing. So, NO, I cannot recommend these guys. Bait and Switch Marketing Sales tactics, No follow up. I never got the Attic Seal I wanted. People give them good reviews, I guess I'll never know if their service and products are any good. read more

Awesome experience, I had them come out fix my roof that was leaking. The roof advisors name was Bradley Simpson and he was super knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. Beware of the $299 radio ad to have your attic sealed up. I scheduled an online appointment with this company & received a text confirmation. Later another text saying call them, I am not scheduled?? Now they have nothing available for a week and that would be for a free quote with no idea when they can actually schedule this service.... I simply want to schedule someone to come out and seal up my attic. Sadly, I will use another company, total waste of time. Maybe they are good but way too difficult to schedule with them. read more

I called for information about repairs to a chimney on the roof. Minor job of sealing some wood back and caulking. The man who I spoke with seemed pleasant enough until the questioning had to do with my work schedule. Then he asked about my "husband's". This line of questioning is inappropriate to schedule a job. It is obvious that I am an adult, and that is all that is required. This is offensive because I am a woman who owns the home , and I have no husband. He assumed, as if it is 1960 and women are usually married and do not have jobs. Whoever owns this company needs to get with the 21st century. I hung up on this man after I told him, " it is 2025, I own the home, and not everyone has to have a husband to be happy and thriving. There is no one way to live life. read more

This is the worst roofing co. I have ever come across. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They left nails and roofing material all over my patio, yard and inside my house from the sky lights. Dark grey roof material was all over my 3 white couches and persian carpet. EVEN AFTER CLEANING THE COUCHES WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. THE COST TO REPLACE THE COUCHES WILL BE WELL OVER 10K. I stepped on a nail and suffered great pain. Also, my sink stopped up the next day and it took 3 days for the shop vac to pull out all of the roofing material in the pipe. The next day I had a hot water pipe burst and I know it was from the weight of all of the men and supplies they had on my roof. Two pictures fell off the walls and broke the glass. Their gutter people destroyed the landscape lighting wires and it took months to get that fixed. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. read more

We did an inspection of the roof. Unfortunately, the Sunrun did some damage to the roof and our builder did not glue the top pipes properly. We wanted to get a quote from firehouse to see how much was it to replace the roof and then add gutters as we found out the previous owner wanted to save money and not add gutters around the house and only got them on the front. They work really hard for that free quote as they inspected the roof and went inside the attic. They took about an hour or so and told us the amount which was $3000 to fix the roof and another $5000 for the gutters. They did give us a $300 dollar discount. They did the work in two days within a couple of hours each. They ordered the parts. They first installed the gutters which took them a couple of hours to do and then did the fixing for the roof which took them another couple of hours. They kept great communication with my wife. Overall, was really impressed with the work done. read more

Also ask if they have a senior discount and he said sure do. Well, a couple days later I get his est for $4300 with a $300 senior discount. I tried to email back to see what's up. No reply. Warning: Won't relieve what they say. I am a retired FireFighter,and I called this company to get estimate to patch a hole in my roof about the size of my fist. A fallen limb fell on my roof and punched a small hole in it. This price gouging rip off company ,wanted $1,200 . for a 30 minute patch job. " Are you kidding , I said to the estimator. I laughed at him and said" No Thank You"!!! I called another professional 25 yr. in business roofer. He patched it, with same material that the FireHouse estimator said they would use. This roofer fixed my roof ,and documented with pictures of every step,and guaranteed it from leaking for 5 years. Not only did this professional roofer repair my hole, he walked my entire roof looking for issues and minor repaired these roofing nail issues, and spent an hour up on my roof. He came down, showed me all the pictures he took ,( each step of repairs), and explained fully. I ask how much did I owe? He said ,is $200, too much ,and I said here is your cash,and the next time I need a new roof ,He would get my bussiness. " Please what ever you do," " Don't use this rip off company"!!! Brad from Firehouse came out, inspected the roof and determined that the leaks were due to leaf buildup, and could be avoided by keeping the roof clean regularly. Their assessment indicated that the roof did not have build quality problems (it's only five years old), reminded me to keep it clean and went on their way, no charge. I had a minor roofing problem, when a 3 foot section of right-angle flashing came loose from the edge of my roof and shingles. (FYI, this problem was 30 feet from the ground. And, yes, that kind of height and the pitch of my roof does intimidate me, I'm not ashamed to say.) I called Firehouse Roofing, and made an appointment to get an ESTIMATE on the cost of the repair. Their representative, Andrew Helms, was prompt, personable, and very knowledgeable. When he ascended to the roof, I expected that he was going to assess the repair and prepare an estimate for me. Much to my dismay, he did not give me an estimate. Instead, after about 30 minutes, he made the repair...AND CHARGED ME NOTHING! I don't think anyone could expect better service than that. Well done, Andrew, and thanks again. Now days, it seems to me that many companies don't take pride in either their organizations or their employees. I called Firehouse about a leak in my roof that was causing water to drip into the bedroom. Thomas Kosten came out that morning while I was at work and told me what I already suspected. I had extensive hail damage to a roof that was less than 8 years old. I should have called when my neighbors all were getting new roofs, but I saw no issues until we had several days of gully washing rains. Thomas was amazing. He took ownership and worked with the insurance company. I am beyond pleased with the quality of the work, the way the roof looks, and most of all... NO FLAT TIRES!!! (I had 5 from the previous roof install. While Discount Tire repairs the tires for free, it is time consuming and a hassle.) Refused to stand behind their work while under warranty. Had to get another company to repair areas they said they fixed around my flashing around chimney. They refused to come out and repair their work. They inflated the scope of work on their bid for some other repairs around my balcony that I needed. And they were almost 11 times higher than Nabor's roofing for the same work. So I am out the money I paid them for nothing because the roof continued to have the same issues they were paid to fix. And also out money to have their work repaired as well. Just because the owner is a fireman, that shouldn't instill confidence in his company's integrity. To the owner per your reply: You do not find me in your database or my emails as you say, because this was several years ago and it was my fiancée's roof and it was I unfortunately who paid to have the repairs done. It was her emails and phone calls as well that were ignored and it was your company's work and customer service that was the issue. Attempt to have this removed if you like but I am an elite yelp member and I give honest reviews and yelp acknowledges this. So your efforts will most likely be in vain. read more

A year later STILL a very satisfied customer! Just another word on my roofing company - Firehouse Roofing. They put on a new roof in the past summer in an exemplary way (see last review.) In about 3 months I discovered I had a warranty claim - a problem the chief roofer had never seen before, and I certainly hadn't. Something about the leaves on my trees were small enough that they were making their way through the new ridge vent and leaving a royal mess in the attic. In the fall it looked like there was no roof up there. To cause this failure requires air currents none of us understand but clearly it was pulling debris in the attic. The fix to it was to put a screen over the ridge vent and let the air currents have their fun doing whatever. Due to first one delay then another it took them about six months to get complete on that fix, with my blessings. I was dry and the property was never at risk, thus I told them any old time is fine with me. They didn't offer to sweep, mop, or vacuum up the mess in the attic, nor remodel the interior of the attic. :) There are so many opportunities out there for a homeowner to get ripped off that when I find a company that operates like Fire House it's worth telling someone. And, if you Collin Co house happens to catch fire you might find their chief roofer putting it out for you. They impressed the socks off of me and I'd call them again any day. I just hope I never need their "alternative" skills. One house fire will mess up your whole day! read more

Today was supposed to be a great day of enjoying a rare day of snowfall in Rockwall, Texas. Unfortunately, water started leaking in the house from the melting snow on the roof. It sounded like a waterfall in my fireplace and began seeping out from between the seams of my hardwood floor. In a panic I called Mark and explained my situation. He was so kind as to be at my house within 1 hour and went up to the roof and knocked off all the melting ice from around the base of the chimney so it would stop leaking into the house. Excellent!!! I am very happy with the job that Firehouse did for me. I had 3 different roofing companies come out and I wasn't totally confident in any of them. A professional home inspector told me I should call Firehouse. I called Firehouse and talked to Tim. He came out to give me an estimate and he flat out -performed the rest of the roofing companies...by far. He was courteous and a total pro and seemed to really like what he is doing. Firehouse was busy but he told me it would be no problem to roof my house and made me feel like he wasn't going to cut corners. I wanted an upgraded roof but had a budget I needed to stay in. Tim suggested a nice quality shingle that looked great and then did a special ridge on it that improved the look of my home a ton. Lots of houses on my street got new roofs and Tim told me mine would look better than any of the other roofs... and he was absolutely right. We called Tim with Firehouse Roofing when my mom's house needed a new roof. He came out very quickly and met with us and thoroughly explained everything and answered any questions we had. He showed us some shingle options and made his recommendations and suggestions to help us with the decision making process. Once that was done, he scheduled us for the next week, dealt with our insurance company so we didn't have to deal with any of that stuff. The work crews(yes more than one crew) showed up when scheduled, and competed the job in ONE DAY!!!! My mom has some mobility issues, so he brought in an extra crew so she wasn't cooped up in her house for multiple days or "kept out" of the house either. All in all, they did an excellent job with a superior product as well! They also made one minor wood repair where they found some rotten wood around a vent pipe! The roof looks amazing and my mom was happy as well! They also had some new gutters installed(our choice and expense) that were a much needed update to the house. Best roofer I've met and I didn't even pay him a dime for the service he's done!! Just bought a house that had bad workmanship on the roof and spoke to Mark from the company. Tim Mullen came by the next morning and told me that the roofers who did the original work left old felt that was most likely wet before the new shingles were installed. I panicked since my home insurance co was advising my that they would be canceling my policy if new shingles were replaced. The original damage to the roof was done before I purchased the home so my new insurance would not cover it. I would either have to pay for the roof on my own or contact my attorney to have them deal with the previous owner and the old roofer. Tim actually took his time to help me call the old roofer to straighten the issue. The old roofer was rude and did not want to deal with me at first. But Tim was persistent and kept giving me reasons to explain the to old roofer that it is their responsibility to redo the roof. He also took the time to call my home insurance co and see what my options are to solve this big issue. I felt so helpless since I didn't have any money for a new roof, but Tim was their to give me advise. We finally got the old roofer to agree to redo the roof without having to have attorneys involved. Let me remind you again that although it was not Tim's responsibility to be there the whole time, he actually stayed until the problem was solved. He even told me that he would come by after the old roofer redoes my roof to make sure it looks good. And again, he is not getting paid at all to do this!! What a great guy and what a great service! I wouldn't be able to thank him enough once this whole nightmare is over! Will definitely use this company when I need to get my roof replaced in the future!! read more

Top-notch operation, through and through. Folks, any guy with a truck and a hammer can swing by your home with some cheap flyers and business cards, telling you they can replace your roof at no cost to you. DON'T BUY IT!! Firehouse Roofing, Inc. is one of the few companies I've seen that doesn't "sell a new roof" on each roof inspection. Bottom line, if your roof is in good shape, they will tell you so. Don't expect them to promise you they will take care of your deductible. Because they won't make that promise. For, even though, it may be a "legal" practice, it is not completely honest. And, that, folks is integrity. Integrity abounds in this organization. It will be obvious from your first meeting. From their professional appearance, promptness and superior workmanship, you'll notice a big difference.
