Patsy's serves up some delicious eats and their patio? All blooming, shaded loveliness. The first thing to note is that if you're dining on the patio, you'll want to run inside and grab some menus. You'll order at the bar. For my dinner I ordered their patty melt served on marbled rye, which was everything a patty melt ought to be (so good!). For my side, I opted for the onion rings which were battered (I prefer this over breaded) and perfectly crispy. Zero complaints on the pub grubtastic food. I also ordered an whiskey old fashioned, which was prepared in the Wisconsin style and was great. The service was also lovely. When I was ordering, the gentleman in front of me explained that he had been coming here for 30 years and it's the same guy behind the bar--amazing. Also, I totally accidentally left my purse on the patio (I only had one drink--just a complete oopsie moment). I didn't realize until the next morning. When I called, they had it stashed behind the bar for me and I was even able to pick it up prior to their opening. Really, above-and-beyond lovely folks working here. Get to it!

But in November it houses the Big Water Film Festival. This past weekend I had the honor of being invited after submitting my film. Of all the places I wanted it shown it was here. Mostly because it has the most class and good taste. I loved wandering around just for the beauty of the facility. The lights at night were gorgeous. A beautiful patio and lots of seating. I'm glad it's not in one of the larger cities, and adds to the city. The Steak pit is down the road and in walking distance. A convenient motel is just steps away. The sponsers and folks who run this place are to be commended. I'll use any excuse to visit here.

The service and food is consistently great. Its location is cool - in the middle of the woods. It's comfortable and pretty inside. You're not squished together. The dining room is large and they have a party room they can open up. There's also a large bar on the other end of the building and a patio area. They usually have several specials on the chalk board. I usually get the 1/2 rack of ribs. They are FANTASTIC. Super tender and the sauce is great. I've also had their chicken wings - great! On our most recent trip (the last week and a half) - I had the ribeye special with the loaded baked potato and coleslaw. It was cooked perfectly and super tasty. I left a few toppings off my loaded potato - l had butter, bacon and grilled onions. It was fluffy and delish. They have a nice menu. You can ride your ATV or snow mobile right up to the building or your John Deere tractor (like a customer had when we were visiting ). Tons of Forest service roads/trails all around the area. The bathrooms are clean and accessible. Great food, great owner, great staff - hard working people wanting their customers to have a great experience.

Seating is actually super comfortable & though there isn't a roof, the walls that are up helped block the wind. We grabbed a spot at the bar. The bartender was immediately super friendly & made a mean Long Island (followed by a Madeline Island, woof), it was the best one I've ever had. They were also quick to recommend places to eat once we were heading out.
