We ventured out in a storm to try Firehouse for my brother in-laws birthday. So glad we did! The staff was great. We called ahead to make sure they were open and they made sure they had a table waiting for us when we got there.
We started with fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and fried mushrooms. They were all nicely battered and came out piping hot. A few people had the special which was prime rib. I had a little taste and it wasn't too bad. It was tender and a good portion. It was a little too smoky for my taste. I had the chicken alfredo. It was really good! It was very creamy and seasoned well and came with delicious garlic toast. I wish there was a little more chicken, but that's not really a deal breaker. They brought out a tasty dessert for him that we were all able to try. I can't remember what it was called, but it was like a cheesecake burrito. It was cheesecake filling wrapped in a tortilla and deep fried. It was really good! And it was so sweet that they did that for him.
I did take some pictures, but I was sitting under a bar light, so they didn't come out well. I'll have to go back and try again! ;) Cheers! read more
