Putting a new furnaces is a highly distracted Consumer experience And with the amount of money involved the contractor should be taking this responsibility. I tried to give him more business but I was just treated like they treat everybody else so I had to go to a different contractor. It's hard to get good info but people should check BBB and check datcp State of Wisconsin consumer protection. That's about all you can do because just about everybody's out to screw you one way or the other. You know unless you know somebody personally.

They informed me to file a warranty reimbursement through the manufacturer which I did to try to get some money back. Rheem is willing to honor the warranty and reimburse $700 for the unit but cannot without an itemized receipt so they can see the cost of the unit charged. This company absolutely refuses to provide one. I've asked 3 times and they just get angry a customer would dare ask for a receipt. I only received a faded unreadable carbon copy receipt with a total cost that the manufacturer can't read and can't accept. They are denying me something so simple as a receipt to get my warranty honored and I'm out $700. Per the manufacturer, they see this when companies don't want to disclose their costs, particularly labor. Based on my reimbursement amount I would have gotten that they've screwed me out of over a piece of paper, roughly 80% of the cost was labor. 100% do not recommend as they hinder warranty reimbursements and refuse to provide customers with something so basic as a receipt. Buyer beware. There are other companies out there that are more willing to be honest with customers.

The technician came promptly fixed the problem for which he charged me $650, I asked him how much will cost to replace the heating and air condition system, he gave me quotes for the same upgraded products in written specification for about $11,000 How this can be that one company charge thousands more for the same product? Should the technician charge me the $99.00 just for coming in and give just the estimates?
