We started to look for another restaurant as Anaam's looked like it was only carry-out. But, we saw a couple booths, so we decided to go in. It was around 3:15 -- an odd time for a meal -- so we were the only customers there. But, the cook (possibly the owner?) and the server were extremely friendly and weloming. They even told us to treat the place like home -- so my sister helped suggest where to put some Halloween decorations! My sister had the chicken shawarma and I had Natalie's Favorite Pita. It took about 10 minutes for these huge, hot, fresh delicious sandwiches to be prepared. We each could only eat half, so we wrapped up our leftovers -- and they brought us boxes to put them in! Finding this place was a happy accident. :)

I ordered the chicken gyro which had onion, feta, tzatziki, and tomato. I should have asked for the tzatziki on the side as it was loaded on, but the chicken was hot and fresh and I would definitely get it again. I liked the casual atmosphere, and it was very clean inside.

The staff kind of pushed us to use the kiosk, which is probably a good move, since it shows specials that are not in the menu board. I ordered a Greek salad with an extra chicken kabob and a side of gyro meat. The salad was awesome, the chicken kabob was very fresh, they mounded in the gyro meat, which was very nice. My wife got a chicken gyro and enjoyed it, but said she would get the sauce on the side the next time. The portions were huge, so it justified the prices. The dining room was clean and staff were friendly. The bathroom could have used a bit more attention, but was functional. Overall a pretty good experience. We will definitely come back for another try soon.

We received a big tray with chicken cream chop strips, gus, kabob, half of a rotisserie chicken, and some cubes of chicken tikka. The meats were all arranged on top of a bed of yellow rice on one side of the tray and bulgur on the other. The meats tasted great. I especially liked that the gus didn't have much fat at all. It also came with three cups of stew, one curry and two white bean, and one serving of soup. We got a medium hummus that was flavorful and was gone within seconds. However, we ordered a shish tawook sandwich for one of the kids. The chicken in the sandwich was burned and they couldn't eat it. I don't hold it against them though because children tend to be picky sometimes...lol. Other than that, everything was great and we will likely order from the again for our family dinner!
