I have lived here almost a year now. I was going to write a review earlier but I really wanted to…read morebe able to give a full and descriptive review. I love this place. I've lived in apartments for the last 6-8 years and this will be the first time that I renew my lease at the same complex. First- The Apartments; They are great. I love the layout. You still have that "apartment vibe" but we have mostly new appliances(Except the dishwasher) and beautiful granite looking counter tops. The bedrooms are spacious and have large windows which is a huge plus as it floods the apartment with natural light. We have had no major issues with anything in the apartment, we've been able to fix everything ourselves. Management: I love Deanna, she is a great apartment manager. My favorite thing about her is her honesty, and her commitment to her job and the residents. Any issue I've had shes handled ASAP. She is available most of the time to answer questions and she always greets you from the her office when you walk into the club house. Cornelia is the front desk receptionist and she is always nice and willing to help. I haven't had a lot of interaction with her, but I do believe if I needed something she would help. etc: Parking can be a little annoying if you have more than one car. We pay for a covered parking spot for one spot and have had no issues with that. However the guest spots can get somewhat full so we've had to park our second car a little farther away. But it's not really an issue. Never takes more than a minute or two to walk back to the apartment. Rent is paid online, and the deadlines are set. They stick to the rules and policies here and in order for them to do their job they enforce them. Again, not an issue. But if you're someone that pays rent late, or has a bunch of reasons why you can't do something this is not the place for you. Theres a pool and hot tub. I've never used either but plan to this summer. They keep them clean and it never gets too crazy when I've passed by. I love this place. I'm excited to live here again and I really appreciate what the lengths that management goes to in order to keep this place a clean and safe community. I cannot recommend Stonegate enough. I will be posting this review as written on other sites as well. A+++

Although the property is off of Bridgeport, I couldn't hear any of the traffic echo to the back. Neighbors were friendly. There were three managers while I was living there but Deanna was the best communicator out of all of them. It was also getting a special rate for being a MultiCare employee here. The exit process was easy and we actually got a deposit back which is rare. Pool was nice and clean, however I wish it was open during winter since it's heated. The sauna and jacuzzi was open however! Parking was ok since I was a two car household. However most of the people are. Working opposite of everyone's schedule, sometimes I couldn't find any coming home but that's just me. Overall would move back if I came back to WA.

I lived here for 3 years in unit G72, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. At…read morefirst, I thought it was decent, but over time I realized how bad things really were. I've seen mice running around outside near my building, and maintenance is incredibly slow because the workers keep quitting due to how horrible the management company is, Doppler Management. The office staff is constantly changing too. During my time there, they went through at least 5 different managers. Every time you get someone who knows what's going on, they quit and you're back to square one. When I moved out at the end of July, that's when the real nightmare started. I've been fighting just to get my deposit back. The corporate office kept giving me the runaround, and even after they admitted I was right and agreed to refund me, I still haven't received the full amount. It's now October 2025 and I'm still waiting. The manager who promised to fix it quit the following week, which says a lot about how this place is run. On top of that, packages constantly get stolen, it happened to me and several other residents I personally talked to, and my car was vandalized in the parking lot. When I reported it, they told me there was no video footage or anything they could do. This place is a scam. They'll take your money, ignore your concerns, and make you fight for what you're owed. If you're thinking about moving here, don't do it. Save yourself the stress and look somewhere else. If you already live here, document everything, because you'll need proof for when they try to keep your deposit. I left my apartment in great condition, and it was even shown to a new tenant the next day, yet I was still charged $850 for painting that was never done. Management falsely accused me of causing damages that were already listed on my move-in inspection and never repaired. I'm a SSG in the Army, and even I had a hard time getting my deposit back -- stay away from this complex.

It's fucking disgusting. On top of that, won't get the deposit back. Maybe DONT RENT FROM HERE.

Told them we had been there less than a year, had multiple late payments etc. (ALL FALSE). We were model tenants. Maintenance takes weeks to fix anything, parking is a nightmare, rent continues to rise, the gate never works and there are CONSTANT break ins and thefts, management makes up new rules every day that tenants never agreed to, management is always changing and no one ever knows what they are talking about...the list goes ON AND ON. They deliberately sabotage you when you try to move after making your life a living hell. We complained dozens of times about our neighbors smoking in the apartment, made noise complaints and other issues, and management never followed up on anything. But they are SUPER concerned with you having a BBQ on your patio or other decor they deem "unsightly" yet nothing is ever fixed around the complex. The location is basically the hood now, as the gas station across the street has constant shootings. After we moved out they made up BS charges about cleaning fees and things they needed to replace, even though we followed the move out contract EXACTLY and deep cleaned the entire apartment. They stated we needed to pay for things that were never listed, and when asking for proof of these issues, they never responded. Scammers.

Living here is... alright. But you can find better for the money…read more My move-in experience was not great. The unit wasn't properly cleaned. There was hair in the bathroom sink, food residue in the microwave, sticky spots on the floor (despite a $125 "floor cleaning fee"), and the dishwasher was broken. Ok, whatever, not the biggest deal in the world. The real issue is that the employee who did the walkthrough with me was completely unsympathetic, blamed everything on the cleaner who has been "slacking" lately, and just seemed annoyed more than anything that I spoke up. (To be fair, the manager and maintenance guy were sympathetic and helpful. They addressed the issue even though one was out of town and the other was on their day off.) Also during my walkthrough, when I tested the shower, it unexpectedly sprayed all over the floor. Again, not a big deal. But it was the reaction of the employee that stood out. As I looked around for something to clean it up, instead of offering to help or expressing any concern whatsoever, she literally just stood there and watched while looking like that was the last place on earth she wanted to be. Later in the day, while I was walking through the lobby, I overheard the employee complaining about me, as if *I* am the unreasonable one for expecting a clean unit upon move-in. Yeah, ok. I thought I left high school years ago. The building itself: It looks nice at first glance, but many things feel cheaply made. For example, I have ONE single drawer in my entire unit, which I assume is because drawers cost more to build than cabinets. The walls are paper thin. I am regularly woken up by the sounds of my neighbors having sex during supposed "quiet hours," which, to be clear, is an issue with the construction quality, not with my neighbors. The pet relief area on the roof usually smells quite bad, and it often makes me nauseous to stand near it. (I'm sensitive to smells though, so that might just be a me thing.) Unfortunately, taking my dog outside isn't any better because there is poop EVERYWHERE on the block. Evidently nobody on this entire block picks up their dog poop. It's probably in part because there isn't a single trash can on the whole block. You have to either walk to the park or the next block over to throw your dog poop away. Another small annoyance: Packages rarely end up in the actual lockers. I've found probably 80% of my packages by sifting through the piles of packages left in the lobby or downstairs foyer. Oh, and there's a months-long waitlist for garage parking. But arguably the most concerning thing about The Ruby: The questionable ethics and legality of their business practices. When I toured, the manager stapled a promo card to the informational paperwork and told me about a move-in incentive wherein she'll give me a $200 check if I apply within 24 hours of the tour and bring the card back to her after move-in. I applied within 24 hours and brought the card back to the manager after move-in. Then the bait-and-switch happened. She tells me she needs to submit the request to the management company and then she'll notify me when the check arrives. Ok, fine, whatever. She then calls me the next morning saying she just emailed me a lease addendum that I need to sign saying I'll pay back the $200 if I end my lease early. Um... what? I'm pretty sure a contract is formed when there's an offer, an acceptance, and consideration. As far as I can tell, a binding contract was formed when I completed those steps, and in my opinion, it's incredibly shady that the management company didn't follow through on their word and instead shifted the goal posts once I upheld my end of the bargain. In all honesty, I don't give a shit about $200. I don't care if I get the check or not (which, for the record, I have still not received despite signing their stupid addendum over two weeks ago). But this issue seems to be representative of the ethos of the management company as a whole. They don't really seem to care about the tenants or about doing the right thing. They seem to just care about making money. ***One very important thing I forgot to include in my Google review: The employee who did the walkthrough with me pressured me to sign off on the move-in inspection form BEFORE seeing the unit, which I stupidly agreed to because I didn't want to be difficult. She told me they always do it that way because it's easier, since we were already in the leasing office and wouldn't need to go back down to the office after the walkthrough. (The form was on the computer, not printed out.) She told me she would photograph any issues and add them to the inspection form after the walkthrough if there were any. I was reluctant to agree, but at that point I still assumed the business was acting in good faith and was hopeful there wouldn't be issues. In hindsight, I should never have signed off before seeing the unit, but more importantly, the employee should NEVER have asked me to do that.

They were clean and modern with retro styling. The manager was a fantastic help and during our tour found that we enjoyed some similarities including WWE. My wife and I actually spent like an hour just talking with him he was so friendly and welcoming, they offered tons of amenities and even the small studios were fairly large and offered at a reasonable price. Ultimately this property made it into our final top three for both my wife and myself but we needed just a little more space and wanted to be closer to downtown. I would recommend this place and suggest that you put them on your stop to check out if your apartment hunting.

Updated 06/28/2016…read more This is a smaller community, 42 units which has it's pros & cons. These units are fully renovated and look amazing! They're a great price and very roomy. The only concern we had was the carpet being replaced but it was taken care of the day we got keys. When we signed the lease, we were informed of 3 "issues" found in their walk through. I verified all 3 and was given the weekend to complete my walk through and make notes and found only 2 other "issues" worth noting. I had no issues getting them recorded for both of our records. Upon moving in, a wall of outlets died and we couldn't get the shower head off to replace it with our own. I opted to e-mail about the issues so there would be record of my request. I was responded to right away and maintenance was out the following day. They came out to check the outlets as well as took off the shower head and installed ours. We're scheduled to have an electrition come out for the outlets. Maintenance requests can be submitted in person, over the phone or online as well. I prefer e-mail or online so I have record of it. Either way the work gets done quickly unless something needs to be ordered. The walls & floors are the thickest of any apartment I've ever been in or we have the quietest neighbors. I've always been able to identify what my neighbor is watching on TV and the only reason I hear the people below us now is because they have surround sound. Power is through TPU and our highest bill, even with 3 fans all summer hasn't been too bad. Our first winter was lower than our second but we had different people so the first people must have had the heat higher. Even then, it's still lower than what I paid with PSE in 2005. The community is mostly quiet. When people get in and out of their cars there are times when there could be a battle over who has the best stereo. Unfortunately this sometimes happens at 3am. The grounds are kept clean and presentable. If you run into your neighbors, they're friendly. Cats & dogs are allowed - max of 2 per apartment, max of 20lbs, breed restrictions, no pet rent, $200 deposit each (I believe). 1 parking spot is assigned per unit and there haven't been many issues other than us parking in the wrong spot by accident when we first moved in (our neighbor let us know and we moved over). Any resident with a second car can register it at the office and a parking sticker will be issued. However, we have a second car so parking for that is a pain, especially on the weekends. A tip on that - on he other side of the garage is where most of the visitor parking is. And DO NOT park long term in any of the places marked for towing. If you're just loading/unloading/running in for a few minutes nobody cares if you're in a handicap or loading area. If you're going to be awhile you will get a tow sticker though. When I call the office during business hours Michele will answer call unless she's out of the office or on another call. Office hours are 9am-5pm M-F. She is also manages a second property nearby. She lives on site and is aware of what's going on.
