We went to Fiona's for the first time this week. The food was delicious, but the shining star of this establishment is their impeccable customer service. Every staff member was kind, friendly, and attentive. The menus are listed above the registers; One of the staff members offered us a paper menu so we didn't have to look up and strain our necks. I appreciated that they were observant and helpful. I ordered a hot dog that comes with sweet potato bites. I asked if it was possible to swap for a bag of chips instead of the sweet potato. They said no because the sweet potato bites just come standard with the meal, but they offered me a bag of chips on the house. We ordered a few items from the menu including Eden's Shufflin' to Buffalo Chili Dog, Daisy's Rockin' Reuben Dog, and Grace's Amazing Chicken Pita. All of the food was delicious, but the reuben dog was my personal favorite. We asked for boxes for our leftovers and the staff said we can just take our food over to them and they'll box it up for us. Stay out of finonas deli. i have never felt so unwelcome as i did 5.12.2026. walked in to buy a coconut cream pie. four people behind the counter. not one looked up to greet me, not one to tell me "we'll be w/you in a moment." four employees talking to one another...two w/thier back to the customers. after about five minutes, a large black-haired woman approached me and said "" nothing. just looked at me as if "what do you want" i took that non-engaging look as "get out!" so i did. i dove out of my way 15 minutes, spent way more on gas than i should have to GINGER & BAKER and bought a coconut cream pie for $65. yes, sixty-five buck. They also have a delicious creamy Thai noodle salad that I love. I eat some there and take a bowl home. They have sodas and iced tea, coffee. It's also a bakery . There are delicious baked goods and they also make wedding cakes. The service was fast. We came in for a quick lunch. Very friendly service. I ordered a salad and added some turkey. It was fresh and filling. The turkey was a little salty. Hubby ordered the chicken salad. Went for lunch June 17, 2026. I was looking forward to it since I had not been for at least 10 years. Unfortunately it was disappointing. I ordered the Reuben. Each slice of bread was about 2 inches thick and absolutely soaked in what tasted like bacon grease. It was inedible. Spending $15 on an inedible sandwich is difficult to take. I went in to get lunch "to go" for two people. After seeing the bill for $71, I declined to tip for the person taking my order at the register. This over tipping is getting absurd. I always tip wait staff very well. Anyway, after 20 minutes of watching numerous people leave with their food I asked what the problem was? Somehow they lost MY ticket and only mine. I have always LOVED Fionas But lately it has sadly gone down hill and I say this with grace because I always try and give credit where its due however, I can not any longer stick up for my neighborhood go to spot. The last few times we have had delivery due to a busy life style it was not edible ...this was the last straw today as I so wanted it to be the old reliable Fiona's and enjoy our food but had to throw it away for the third time as it was not edible. We ordered pastrami sands one came in its original form and the other customized to a hoagie bun...the Bun was so stale it fell apart the meat so dried out it was chewy at best and over smoked..no love put into it at all. The time before last it was not ok either we ordered chicken pita sands and usually we love them but same thing was delivered a dried out fall apart pita that was not fresh and either were some of the ingredients which is not usual for them...not sure whats going on there to be honest. I really have tried giving them three chances to get it right and sadly they failed each time...My hope is that they can take this to heart in a good way and actually do something about it to make sure their long time loyal customers are treated with the culinary respect they deserve and serve fresh Hoagies and moist non dried out meats. Fiona's has long been a favorite of mine. The sandwiches are always on point and I love the side of sweet potatoes with the maple dressing. Yesterday I stopped in for work and got a basic Turkey and Swiss on wheat sandwich. The sweet potatoes were fresh out of the oven and I could have eaten three servings easy. I usually get a vegetarian sandwich which is always good but it was a nice change of pace and shows they just do a good job period. This place is the place to go for deli sandwiches. Whenever I go to a new sandwich shop my go to sandwich is a Reuben. This place definitely didn't disappoint. The Reuben was perfect. The sauce on the sandwich was phenomenal and it paired perfectly with the meat. The prices were completely reasonable too. This place has a nice sit-down atmosphere and has plenty of options for drinks. I would highly recommend the Rocky Mountain sodas (the root beer is great!). Also, it is HUGE! next time I think I won't go for the default cream cheese though, I wanted to try how it was but next time I prefer something like mustard or some other spread. This spot serves up sandwiches and other baked goods RIGHT. When you walk in you'll immediately feel at home. A very cozy atmosphere. Feels like grandma could be cooking it up in the back. You order at the front first and they bring the food to your table. I ordered the roast beef sandwich with a side of chips (you may not need the chips, more on that later). I sit down at a wooden cozy booth and maybe 10 minutes later my food comes. Very fast. The roast beef sandwich is STACKED. Very much full of meat and just based off the look of this sandwich, the meat looks juicy. Not that typical dry roast beef you may be used to. My chips are there (classic bbq chips) and what's this? A side of sweet potato with a sauce! I take a bite of the sandwich and wow. Beef is nice and moist. Lettuce is fresh and the tomato is not your typical Roma watery trash. Very flavorful. The cheese is sharp and the bread is... eh. The bread was kind of dry. Which is not awesome when you're eating a sandwich. BUT. The rest was awesome. Instead of biting into my chips I try the sauced sweet potatoes. And wow. Soooo tasty. It's a small serving but it's enough. It's enough where I'd say hey. Maybe you don't need the chips. Soft sweet potatoes with still a texture to them. And the sauce is bomb. This is a lot of food but. This brings me to the reason it's a four for me. The price. I don't like to talk price but when your prices are extra extra...it's hard to look past. I love this spot, I'll come back for sure! But it's gonna keep people away with the prices. It's a sandwich and I know it's very homemade like but if someone came in looking for a sandwich and saw the price. They'd scoff. To me I'll pay it because it's worth it to me. Amazing deli place! Sandwiches are larger in size and they do come with a pickle and some sweet potato tots. You can order regular chips for an extra charge. I got the gyro and the meat was so flavorful, tender and thinly sliced. My husband tried the Joanns club and enjoyed it so much! If I could give less than 1 I would. I had the BBQ sandwich and it honestly tasted like throw up. I took two bites and threw the sandwich away (threw the sandwich away right after the picture was taken). We also ordered the kids Turkey sandwich and ham sandwich. Such a hidden gem. Love that we just happened to stumble upon this place when looking for lunch because no other deli offers corned beef for some strange reason.. When you think of a deli, you think of a small store with a display of meats and cheeses, but not this place. It's large in the inside, with a display of their cakes, and desserts. They have large boards with all their sandwiches listed above their counter. In the back they have an adorable ice cream parlor, and behind that they have their bakery. They have so many options, that it took me forever to decide- I suggest taking a look at the menu before hand. They also have a list of all of their breads, meats, cheeses, toppings, etc where you can build your own sandwich. I went with Fiona's Reuben on sourdough, and my husband went with a corned beef, pastrami and Swiss on rye. These sandwiches are not skimpy, you get loads on top of the sandwich, and the bread is a thick cut. On the side you get sweet potato slices topped with maple balsamic aioli.
