But I felt something is off, and I want to correct mistakes and improve techniques if possible. So I started taking 30min weekly lessons with Aaron. It last several months. I liked the instruction and feedback in each lesson. In the end, I feel I learned a lot and improved all four strokes as I was hoping to. I am still not very good at some of the areas pointed out by him, but at least I am aware of them. I even learned and practiced freestyle flip turn. Without proper supervision and guidance, I would be afraid to attempt myself. Overall, I feel the money and time are well spent.

By 3mos mark she was able to backward quick with Coach Taylor not holding her. The scheduling on app and on phone was easy. I confused the team a lot with absence and Poe organization and they patiently dealt with me. I never felt stressed with having to make up classes though in the summer it may be harder given more kids are in class. Coach was great. Patient and on time and would take a bit more time if they didn't have back to back. My daughter takes Art, Music, Chinese and Soccer. She has a lot of instructors but loved the coach so much that her Barbie is now a swim instructor named Ms. Taylor. She also always ask for when swim lessons are and make sure we are not late. Facilities are clean. Indoor and very warm. Water is warm enough for winter swim and you can shower and dry hair before heading home. Ty team

They people couldn't figure out how to charge me so that was a whole debacle , and I went to pay they charged me a whole month. Come to find out they lied and you can't let them know in advance and not be charged. Now I still appreciated the make up classes so I decided to sign up. Now when I called to say hey I put in the website we were out but we didn't receive anything saying we got a make up class they said oh you only get 2 a month and only for 30 days. I have now canceled my membership. Onto the experience itself. The instructor is nice but he didn't know any songs to help calm my daughter who was getting used to classes again. There is no way other than jumping in and using your arms to get out. I beg and plead find someplace else.

Teacher Karen is truly exceptional. She is a seasoned professional who knows exactly how to balance challenging the kids to grow while remaining patient and understanding of their limits. She knows exactly when to push for progress and when to move more slowly. She makes every lesson fun, putting the kids at ease immediately. We feel very confident in the skills they are developing under her guidance. In our time here, both children have gained vital water safety skills. They know how to enter and exit the pool safely, are comfortable being fully submerged, can float confidently, and are overall very comfortable in the water. I went to the front desk to raise a concern about one of my kids not getting enough attention in class due to another child constantly crying, and Roshni rudely jumped in the conversation telling me I should pull out my child from the class. I wasn't talking with her in the first place, and nothing she said addressed my concern, and she kept rudely arguing with me. She seemed very racist and prejudiced. Apparently she's a manager there, but she should be kept as far as possible from customers! Horrible person!

The pool is also less crowded than other swim schools we've tried. We have one child now in the pre-competitive program, which is held at various locations. We're at the De Anza College pool, which is outdoors and beautiful. At his time slot, he's either been the only student, or one of two, and we've seen his progression. I just wish they had a make-up classes, especially during the summer: there is no rescheduling of missed classes. For the Swim School, you can buy a drop-in class "splash class" for a $20 discount but that must be booked the day of, which makes it hard to plan for.

It's a nice sized, clean, heated pool. Lots of areas to sit or layout, including a whole section beneath the shade of a large oak tree. The instructors are young, but Well-versed and of course, very nice. There are outdoor showers. And a nice tennis court. Swim lessons are decently priced and sessions can be purchased via their website during the Summer. No need to be a club member. My daughter took swim lessons the entire summer, and we really loved the smaller atmosphere of this private club as opposed to going to the YMCA, which had much larger class sizes and I was looking for more one on one experiences which I was able to get at Fairbrae.
