We made a call to Cornerstone and from the very beginning Joe the owner was very clear we will rebuild your home and you'll have it for "another hundred years". From that moment we knew we had to work with Cornerstone. They had a vision, a plan, and the right people to execute everything we could have wanted. The 120 year old three family home had to be competent rebuilt aside from the frame. We upgraded many items compared to before the fire such as installing central air, adding a sprinkler system, changing the rear stairwell, moving walls in rooms, adding a new master bath that didn't exist before. They were communicative, kept us informed of every major step along the way, and always had foresight of upcoming milestones and got ahead of them. They are very proactive in every part of the project so you will never feel like things are stalled. They are professional, courteous, and dependable. We are very happy with the outcome and truly have a home that will last us another 100 years just as promised. We couldn't recommend Cornerstone enough to anyone looking for work to be done on their home.

Most general contractors/builders try to rush to get the job done so they can move on to their next project. Not John. They were incredibly quick (responding within the first 45 mins of my Yelp request ) to respond when I discovered a water leak coming from outside. Since the source wasn't obvious (potentially an ice dam, roof issue, etc.), I really appreciated how quickly and thoroughly they assessed the situation. They were able to identify both how far the water had spread inside and pinpoint the exact source of entry from outside. Once the issue was identified, they moved fast to fix it properly. After repairing the exterior source, they took extra precautions inside, treating the affected area to prevent any potential mold, installing new insulation, replacing the ceiling and smoothing everything out, and finishing with a clean paint job. You'd never know there had been an issue as it was repaired well. Jean, in particular, was fantastic to work with. He was very accommodating to my schedule, acted with urgency throughout the entire process, and made a stressful situation feel manageable. Of those we contacted, BBC took the least amount of time to get us a quote. The quote was also the most detailed of the ones we received. Eduardo included renderings of the island remodel and surrounding space as well as a detailed breakdown of materials and labor. The quoted price was very competitive -- it was among the lowest. BBC completed the project for the quoted price in spite of a few unexpected complications we encountered along the way. Quality of work. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work performed. We were very up front about certain key requirements going into the project and Eduardo did a very good job making sure to adhere to them. For example, we wanted to make sure the island cabinetry matched our older, discontinued, cabinetry. Eduardo was able to match our own cabinets very closely without impacting the price. We also had a number of other very specific requirements regarding cabinetry arrangement and Eduardo stuck to it perfectly. We got what we asked for. Communication and experience. Eduardo and his crew kept the dialogue going throughout the project. We spoke regularly via telephone, email, and text message. They listened to our questions and concerns along the way and made adjustments based on our input. They were very good at explaining when certain things made sense and when they didn't.
