We booked a walking tour with Finn Mcool's for our first day in Dublin. Connor, our guide met up at the meet up spot and waited for everyone to arrive. He then led us on a 90 minute tour which took us through various important historical sites on both sides of the river. His narrative was not only informative, it was also entertaining. As an added bonus, we learned that his is a published author. We highly recommend the tour. (If you're hesitant about taking a walking tour and concerned about the amount of walking, I wouldn't worry as the there were frequent stops and the total amount walked was only about several blocks).

Went on a Tour with Quiggs & Thomas out to Giant's Causeway, Dark Hedges, Dunluce Castle and Belfast Titanic. It was a long day trip from Dublin, but very much worth it. Quiggs was a captivating story teller (masterfully adding comedy when you least expect it). Thomas was a great driver getting us from stop to stop safely. Check out this tour (or one of the others they offer) and most definitely ask for Quiggs & Thomas

Took tour from Dublin to Titanic Belfast. We stopped at several places along the way which was nice but it also meant we were rushed towards the end. We did not end up with adequate time to see the Titanic Experience or to grab food prior to heading back to Dublin. If you do this tour, I recommend skipping the dark hedges and taking time to grab lunch during that stop.

Giant's Causeway and Game of Thrones tour Pros: - nice stops before the game of thrones exhibition - someone else drives for you - good AC on the bus - good information while on the bus Cons: - no information at the location you stop at - seats on the bus have very little leg room Well, the tour served its purpose for us. We didn't have to drive and were able to nap on the way back. First stop: convenience store for restroom break and to buy food in case you didn't bring any with you. You will not have a lunch, so either take food or be prepared to buy it at this stop. Be aware that the stop gets busy and you are on a time limit Second stop: some castle you can see from a distance. You get off, take a picture and get back on the bus Third stop: Giant's Causeway. This was probably the best part of this tour for me. It was beautiful and we were given enough time to explore. Some people had their lunch here. We hiked up as much as we could. This is where I would have appreciated a more guided tour. ( you can pay for extras inside the store prior to your start) Fourth stop: dark hedges. Nothing special. It will be about a 15 minute stop Fifth stop: GOT touring exhibition. If you like GOT, then you will enjoy this. You will have an opportunity to take pictures on the iron throne. Sixth stop: quick stop in Belfast. I think it was an hour. We managed to grab a quick bite to eat and visit one souvenir store. I did appreciate the guidance from our tour guide ( I don't remember his name). He pointed out some good souvenir stores and pubs. Tips: -Northern Ireland uses a different currency. Be prepared - If you have mobility issues, have money for the bus at giant's causeway - you can leave your stuff on the bus, so I would take anything that will make your trip more comfortable

had a lot of fun on the cliffs of moher and galway tour with tony and jp! cliffs of moher is beautiful but you have a lot of time so i definitely recommend to do everything slowly, we rushed and then had too much time on our hands. also prepare a plan for galway before you get there (if you want a plan) so you don't have to wander and feel like you're wasting time. we also did the giants causeway tour with cj and vedran which was amazing! seems like you can't go wrong with the tours here

Majeeb was our driver and Quiggs was our guide. Both excellent at what the do. Absolute loved having Quiggs as a guide he is very knowledgeable and entertaining. I highly recommend him for your tours. He is an asset to Finn McCools tours.

He sang a song or 2 along the way but he couldn't answer any of the questions asked and barely spoke. He dropped us at stops going in blindly. He was an older gentleman, so I understand the low energy but perhaps time to hang up his hat. As first timers to Ireland, I chose the Dark Hedges/Giants Causeway/Belfast tour because I was infatuated by photos of the Dark Hedges I saw online. I had no idea it looked NOTHING like it. It was really a waste of a stop. Giants Causeway was nice.. great photo op. It's a long walk downhill, then back up. Luckily, there was a bus that operates both ways for £1 (tap cards accepted ). We heard there was opihi in Belfast and found some along the way (we're from Hawaii). Super windy that day so we were getting flown all over the rocks. Only stop on the tour that was worth it. Next stop, Belfast City Centre. The tour guy dropped us off near City Hall with absolutely no direction. He told us about a mall nearby, but that's it. Anything worth seeing was already closed. I really wished he would've gave us more recommendations about what to do, where to eat, or anything worth seeing in the short amount of time we had there. After walking around City Hall, we walked to the mall to use the bathroom, stopped at a souvenir shop, then headed back. Total waste of time, again. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND! Sadiy, I purchased the tickets for this tour after the price had gone up about €10 from their 2025 prices. Tour was also supposed to end at 8pm but we got back by 7pm because he kept rushing us. Leaving early from stops. Felt rushed the whole time. I feel it was a total waste of money that could've been used elsewhere.

Ever had high tea in a bus, whilst driving around a city? Neither had we, until this trip!…read more We've made a habit of high tea when traveling and this was easily the most unique experience we've had. It was the perfect amount of fancy and a little hillbilly feeling - a unique delightful combination! The bus is from the 60s and is totally decked out to look like a tea room. It's something peppa pig would ride on of and when she visits the Isle! The teas, coffee and juices were quite nice. We enjoyed some "Nosecco" (Non alcoholic prosecco) as part of ours and were quite happy with the purchase. There were half a dozen tea choices as well as Cadbury hot chocolate, which we all liked. Everything had a screw on lid in a cup we got to keep so there was minimal spillage and maximum memories! The selection of finger sammys, tea cakes and accouterments was quite nice. The passion fruit and mango mousse was the biggest crowd pleaser from the desserts, and the scones were as good as advertised- someone's mom taught them well....or the Irish equivalent of bisquick is solid! The tour took us around the city and while we don't remember a ton, we got an idea of some of the main spots to see, and learned that no one know why the doors around town are painted fun colors - perhaps it's just because they're fun! This was a great, unique experience and it is well worth doing by yourself, with friends or with a big group!

We enjoyed a great pot of tea along with several sandwiches, scones, and pastries/cakes. The wonderful hostess, Aleks, made the trip memorable- she is quite a character. So I literally just had the worst vacation experience of my life with the Gravedigger Bus Tour. As…read moreyou can see I bought our tickets for tonight's tour back in August. We are only here on vacation for four full days and had things to do every minute. When we go to get on the bus we are told we aren't on "the list" and had to wait. I produced the receipts that I am attaching to this review and was allowed admittance. Right before the tour is about to start we are told we have to get off the bus because again we aren't on the list. We argue that we bought the tickets in August and the tour company did not dispute that. But we didn't make it in to their spreadsheet somehow and they oversold the bus which became our problem. We have planned every minute of our short trip for months and they totally ruined it for no good reason other than they are shitty record keepers. *Then* they say they'll issue a refund in a few days. Wait a minute though I thought I wasn't on their list?! How can the issue a refund if I'm not in the list? I told them I'm not leaving till I'm given cash because I'm either in the list or not. They tried offering us a few other free tours but no way do I trust this company with my money or time again. We were so looking forward to a Halloween themed adventure on my short Dublin trip and they completely ruined it for us and didn't care. They kept saying "it's not our fault." Well it's certainly not my fault. Please don't trust this dishonest and scammy company with your money or time.

Some tours companies do not maintain vehicles. Etc. Little Gem tours is professional. All the details are perfectly set. Their employees are friendly, knowledgeable!! and helpful. The cliffs were very very busy so not enough time to do it all and eat and go to the toilet. We walked half and opted to eat. The bathroom lines are very long, no fault of the tour. Our guide and driver were professional and mostly kind. We learned a lot about Irish history from Aaron and felt safe being driven by Stipe. I would have liked to know more about some of the specific things/places we saw as we saw them while driving in the country (I.e. ruins, stone walls, interesting mountains, the beaches, or the little walls) but in return learned so much about Ireland and its rich history. Aron and Stipe were a very well rounded pair. Thank you!

Michael somehow got us everywhere in record time without it ever feeling rushed, which meant we had more time at each stop. On a 12-hour day, that matters. Huge credit to him for making the logistics feel effortless. Aaron was the real glue of the experience. He actually knew what he was talking about and didn't just recite facts -- he added personality, humor, and context that made everything stick. When you're spending that long together on a bus, the vibe is everything, and he nailed it. We lucked out with amazing weather at the Cliffs -- cold, but crystal clear visibility. We hit both viewing areas (even with restoration work going on), and it still felt expansive and worth every second. Pictures don't do it justice. Galway was a blast. We had about two hours in the city center, which was enough to explore, grab food, and soak up the energy -- though honestly, I could've stayed all day. The recommendations we got were spot on. The pacing was great, the bus was as comfortable as it realistically can be for a full-day tour, and it never felt chaotic or disorganized. I would 100% recommend this to first-time visitors to Ireland and honestly even to people coming back who want a seamless, well-run way to see the west coast without thinking about logistics. Michael and Aaron -- absolute pros.
