Hidden gem in NE Philly!!! Doesn't get the recognition it deserves and the hoagies are some of the best in the city. Mr Fink is one of the nicest individuals you will ever meet and makes you feel like your home when you come into his store.

There's a reason Fink's is the King! Hoagies are excellent and so is the potato salad and Mac salad. Extremely affordable and always friendly. We got a party tray to feed 10 and it was more than enough. Choice of 4 hoagies and 3 pounds each of potato and Mac salad plus all the condiments you could ever need. All for 62 bucks! Highly recommend them for your catering needs and even just for a great sandwich!! Thanks Fink's!!

This place is a gem and always awesome . I just realized they are delivering now which I was so used to picking up didn't know. The quality is amazing and there prices are unbeatable you get such an amazing portion for such a fair price. This place is and has always been a neighborhood gem and now with all this covid stuff has steeped up for its patrons. Try there stuff if you haven't and order more to support a local business that truly shows it patrons what a small business should be.

BEST HOAGIES IN THE LAND!! I go here once a week, EVERY WEEK! Sometimes I get the seeded loaf sometimes I don't but the quality of the hoagie remains the same!!

The pennypacker

Big hoagie with big flavor. I got the pennypack and it was great. Bacon, caesar dressing, and Turkey breast. Would definitely eat it again today and I had it just yesterday. 5 stars

Fink's Hoagies are the best in Philadelphia. Yes, the hoagies are absolutely delicious, but there's much more to it than that. Behind the counter sat Mr. Fink as my friend's and I came in to pick up a few party trays. He immediately welcomed us with a big smile and chatted us up. As we talked about my weekend trip back home to Philly from NYC, he pointed to a drawing of himself wearing a crown on his head and said, "I heard the owner of this place is an ***hole." He picked up his crown perched over in the corner and placed it on his head and suggested taking a picture. We took a picture, I asked if they take tips -- they didn't -- and left. Mr. Fink is a Veteran, and Fink's Hoagies is owned and operated by him and his family. It's a small business that works hard to supply Philadelphians with the best hoagies around. This was my first time meeting Dennis Fink, but if you've never met him, you'll know him as soon as you walk in the door. He's your neighbor, your uncle, your basketball coach -- a genuine, decent person who has a knack for making your day in only a few minutes. There's a selflessness, warmth, pride, and self-deprecation that exists when you walk in the door (or order delivery) that makes Philadelphia (and Fink's) such a special place that franchises in the area will never be able to fulfill. And once you try their hoagies, you'll immediately wonder why you thought about ordering from anywhere else. I've never posted a review on Yelp, but felt compelled to do so this time around. Instead of opting for a Wawa hoagie, the official hoagie of the Baltimore Ravens, go to Fink's.

Mayfair, Tacony

Between the music and the staff I felt very welcome. I'll start with my appreciation for the gentleman behind the counter who graciously and patiently answered all my questions ..... like what is a Mallorca (sweet fluffy bread that reminded me of a sticky bun and a danish put together), a Quesito, (flaky, golden puff pastry filled with sweetened cream cheese and usually glazed on the outside) and Pastelillos de Guayaba (made from guava, flaky, fruity and sweet with powdered sugar). It was neat to learn about some Puerto Rican sweets I was unfamiliar with. I was given a Dulce de Leche donut warmed up (as a reward I suppose), for my interest in the baked goods. That donut lasted a couple of seconds as it melted in my mouth. I grabbed a Mallorca with guava to go and a ready made sampler with 25 pieces of half mini Pastelillos de Guayaba and Questios for $30. The guys at work enjoyed them very much. The Quesitos were my favorite, the combo of the pastry flavor with the sweet cream cheese was delicious. Their breakfast offerings come on their fresh baked bread. I had a sausage, egg and cheese with hot sauce. It was around $10 and a skip lunch sized portion. I would repeat. Check out the menu I posted for more of their offerings. Everything in their cases looked good: cookies, donuts, cake pops, cake slices, tarts, turnovers etc. They also have an area called Toasty's Cafe with juices (mango, pineapple, passion fruit), coffee, over a half dozen different teas, etc. I'll definitely be returning to try more items and a Cubano sandwich on that fresh bread is calling me for a lunch visit. I really appreciate people who wake up early and have the drive to be patient and caring to their customers. I'm not sure of the name of the gentleman who helped me, but thanks for the education and great recommendations! Thanks guys and see you soon!

There bread is so good that I went threw one pound in less then a day. I called almost at closing today 4/11/26 and they waited for me to pick up my bread. Also the pastelillos are amazing. When you bite into it, its not full of air. Stuffed with meat and taste amazing. Will be returning every week for sure.

It's lovely Italian deli a block away from Rittenhouse square, where they have a wide assortment of fantastic sandwiches. I chose the Vesuvius today and what a treat it was. Bread is fresh, chicken cutlet crispy on the outside, and great veggies. I've had a few other sandwiches here and honestly, you can't go wrong. Highly reccomend the Soprano and Gabagool as well. All are big enough that I can eat half a sandwich for lunch and another for dinner. The people working there are also very nice and friendly. Sandwiches come with a free bag of chips and the staff often hand out some delicious bread pudding cups. Highly reccomend this place. Just wish the name was a tad more memorable as I can never remember it lol.

While trying to determine what I wanted to order for lunch last week, I took a look at the Yelp Page for Tortice's and saw some of the most mouth watering options ever. I could not decide between the Philly Special and the Rittenhouse. I went for the Philly Special because I was more in the mood for the sweet taste of a balsamic glaze and eggplant. I ordered my sandwich directly on the Yelp Page and it was ready when I got there to pick it up. The prices are super fair, I managed to get a drink and chips too for less than $25 for everything. The highlight of this sandwich was the chicken cutlet. I am PICKY when it comes to chicken cutlets. The seasoning here was absolute perfection. The portion was generous. I was full well past dinner time. The staff inside were very friendly and kind. I can't wait to return and try the Rittenhouse Sandwich next!

I ordered a tuna hoagie and the only way to ask for no cheese and no toppings was in the instructions - plainly printed on the receipt. The tuna hoagie was of course loaded with onion, lettuce, tomato and all the things I did not want. We could scrape them off but that really isn't the point. The cheeseburger hoagie was not good at all. The meat had a funny dry, mealy texture. It was hard to choke down even a fourth of it. I asked for American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and yellow mustard. They made it their way, not my way. No mustard at all of any kind. I also asked for deli half-sour pickles but didn't get them. Maybe they're a deli with no pickles!! Okay, so now I know. Will not spend $50 at this place again.

On my first visit the phone was ringing non-stop with orders, yet the girl who waited on me patiently went over the menu, recommended items and never lost her cool. On my second visit a guy I'm assuming is one of the owners took my order from the kitchen. He was very friendly. Food wise I tried two different breakfast sandwiches. Sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel with hot sauce and a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel. They were huge overflowing portions, little greasy with decent flavors that held together well. The bagels were bland, but did the job. For a little over $7 a sandwich, I felt the price was a good deal. Overall, as another Yelper stated it's definitely a blue collar spot with good/average breakfast eats, a great staff, but the inside could definitely use some updating! Thanks so much guys!
