Moen provided a FULL warranty replacement set (Moen rocks!) and Dominic the M&M guy installed this handily for a reasonable charge. Some months later there was an internal issue with this part as well as a number of house plumbing issues that I figured to address at the same time. Brandon and his other brother Brandon set about these other issues but noted that the sink needed a specific Moen replacement part. Meanwhile, they tackled the house pressure regulator, which had been a real challenge for a prior plumber for some reason. Brandon measured the outside pressure and matched this up so our showers were still able to provide the same oomph. This was the root problem to our "water heater issue" - which included relief valve output due to surges. Unfortunately, we still had to buy/install a new overflow bladder. At my request, they also checked all the valves under the sinks and toilets for operation and leaks to see if they needed their packing adjusted or to be replaced. Note: After years of non-use, the typical valve used has packing that can dry and pull back leading to a leak. You can simply tighten up the screw on the front to tighten the packing. If you do replace this valve - go to a better quality ball valve design choice. We also had a significant leak in one of the exterior hose valves - had these replaced with the newer long-valve design that places the shut-off point internal to the house rather than right at the handle. We had them switch out the other one to this, as this will reduce the chance of cracked pipes (and possibly a very soggy cellar) from freezing. Dominic returned and facilitated communications with Moen and eventually did a re-installation. Moen provided an assembly and eventually express shipped a WHOLE NEW faucet set to get this problem solved. M&M was kind enough to significantly discount the charges on the faucet troubleshooting and re-replacement.

Carlos and his team were professional, knowledgeable and relentless when dealing with this stubborn clog; which turned out to be 25 years of garbage build up. When the clog did not break-up with their electric snake; Carlos had no other option than to cut our PVC pipe, in order to remove all of this build-up. The clog was getting hung up in one of the elbow turns; so he replaced it with a T, so that if this ever happens again (hope not), the removal of anything should be a lot easier than what he originally experienced. He said I would have to order it and it would take a few days. We were leaving for vacation so I told him to replace the heater. When I returned from vacation the hot water heater that was installed had the same Honeywell controller on it that I was told he couldn't get. They arrived and performed the work however shortly after their departure the drains baked up. I called to request they return, and they did, doing additional jetting, and departed. Again the drains backed up. Again I requested they return. This time they discovered that the jetting process forced debris further in the pipes causing a blockage before the grease trap. The technician complained about the debris causing the blockage. Well that's what I hired them for - to clean out the drain pipes and prevent a blockage. I don't tell professionals how to perform a job that they have expertise in. I guess they should have run an adequate amount of water through the drains to insure flow. The drain backup happened during business hours resulting in several inches of water across the kitchen floor. We had to stop accepting customers and preparing food. The result was several thousand dollars in lost revenue. They billed me for the three visits. I paid for 8.5 hours of service - $2550. Had they performed the work correctly the first time, my bill would have been less than half that amount.
