We feel that we were the victims of a bate and switch. the product in the show room did not match…read morewhat was delivered. The dinning room table was not cut properly at the factory. Barb was not easy to deal with, however we don't feel that she lied to us but we think that some one at the factory lied to her about the nature of wood that is impossible to believe. It is their belief that the gap where the two haves of the table top meet will fill in as the wood dries in our dry climate. Barb would not guarantee that would happen over time. We in good conscious cannot recommend this company to fix or even look at problems when they occur. Lorne on the other hand bent over backwards to help us pick out the furniture that we required and most of it (except the table top) is quality furniture that could be passed of to future generations of our family

I think I came at a bad time, as they had just had a big tent sale outside of town. No Louis chairs, and I was bummed. But the rest of the store was faboo too. I found a couple old books (one Agatha Christie) and the cutest little metal crown decoration, all of which I needed to make my new built-in library shelves look perfect. Sales folk were friendly but not overbearing, and prices weren't outrageous. Will definitely be returning on future visits to Calgary!

I found whether you are buying 50 cents worth or $500, Rob is just as cheerful and generous with his knowledge of whatever subject pertains to you purchase.

They do not respond well to communication to correct problems that they created. I was shipped an item that was different than what I won the bid on. It took an investigation of my bank to correct the refund difference. In addition to that a certificate of authenticity has not been corrected. They have failed to respond to my correspondence on the corrected certificate. This was the Heartland auction

I contacted them after my mother died to inquire about consigning some sets of vintage china and an antique bed frame to their January auction. You can imagine the stress of trying to handle her estate while grieving her death. Several months, many further e-mail inquiries and phone calls later, and January came and went without an answer. One time I did get a call from Matt Riches after complaining that he wasn't returning my calls. He was snotty on the phone, calling me "ma'am" in a very condescending tone. He asked me to take photos of the items and e-mail them, which I did, the next day. No response. Finally I sent an e-mail saying, look, if you don't want to work with me, just say so and I will move on. Then a call saying, oh yes, we may be able to do something. That was the last I heard. I spoke with several people at the estate sale saying that they were awful to deal with from a buyer's point of view as well. I won't find that out for myself because I will never try to deal with them again. I don't recommend that anyone else try, either.

This time however we found the quality for the price we paid to fall far from expectations first. Coffee table had scratched door handles and the stain on the coffee table was missing in some places Service team came out and replaced handle and restained areas secondly, the chair we purchased had bug bites on the arm. ( did not look good) service team sent tech out twice to replace the arm leather however the leather on the arm did not match the other arm service team says bug bites are common. We have never experienced this before They are now telling me that I have to escalate to corporate office in the US ( great customer service . They take your money and don't care ) the quality has gone down hill) I am very annoyed and one unhappy customer and they are prepared to accept that

Peter gave us room to breath and look around and followed up from time to time and was around when we had questions. nice knowledgable and had many great ideas i would not think of. in general a very pleasant shopping experience definitely would want to deal with Peter again in the future
