I started typing them an email request, and before I even finished/sent the email, a quote popped up in my inbox with the correct shipping zip codes and everything. I hadn't even sent the email yet, so how could they have known what i needed? They're either psychics, time travelers, or they're installing AI software on their client's computers. When I called to discuss the issue with them, they were nervous, dismissive and rude. They clearly realized that they got caught. They've been reported to both BBB and California Fraud Protection. Worked with my daughter. Loaded the car. My daughter had all of our end of college goods loaded (no issue). Juan was great. Notified us about the status. He even charged our car overnight (since the battery was dead). He arrived next day. (San Francisco to San Diego) Notified me about his ETA. Arrived on time. We unloaded the car at the mechanic. So now we had to coordinate moving this miracle car from NJ to MN. My father did the original rounds of research, saying the price would be about $1k and might take a couple months to get here. Months?! Every day the car wasn't here was another day I couldn't work. I like paying my bills and eating food sometimes. I contacted the U.S. Consumer Auto Transport Authority to see if I could do better than "months", and they referred me to MoveAuto. MoveAuto was a couple hundred more than the basement priced companies (which were quoting about $1k), but here's the difference - instead of being a broker like the cheap guys, trying for weeks to recruit a driver to transport your car at insanely low rates, MoveAuto has their own drivers. This means you don't have to guess too much when it comes to when the car will get to you. I got a hold of them Friday, and they picked up the car from my dad at 8 a.m. Monday morning. The car was with me by Wednesday, with no damage at all. I have to add that my father is a very strong-willed and occasionally truculent older fellow, and MoveAuto did a great job at telling him what he had to do before shipping while treating him with respect. I am so grateful to MoveAuto for removing the stress from a very stressful situation. I've had my car for almost a month now, and every day I am grateful to have it. Thank you for doing what you do.
