People to stuff you every single day. These are good employees great and just happy people that are willing to sell you store provides. I started taking brace lessons and my instructor.Lyndon weeks is awesome. Great dude with a great professional background overall just a good place to go practice for a few minutes. There were two employees at the front counter when we came in. They didn't look up, didn't great us. We wandered around the store for about 10 minutes trying to find what we came in for, before an employee on his way to somewhere else casually greeted us as he walked by. I had just found one of my items. Then I had questions about trying to find The proper springs for my Hoffner B-Bass guitar. At that time, the only person around was at the front desk. He knew absolutely nothing about bass guitar strings-or Hoffners. And when he didn't know the answer, he told me that "Any of the strings would work"! This was completely unacceptable! Going to buy them from Strings By Mail and won't be visiting this location again.

I am a guitarist, pianist and vocalist who buys supplies here. I have no relations or affiliations…read morewith the owners. I occasionally stop at this store and have made a few purchases here. The have pretty decent prices for the brands that the carry. I wouldn't buy a guitar here unless you are starting out and want something cheap. I bought my daughter a lower end electric bass and practice amp here and it was a good deal for the price and quality. They bundled me a case, amp and bass for a lower price, so they will work with you. They do have a nice sound room that you can try out the acoustic guitars. That is nice so you don't have to hear all the other noise in the store. If you want better guitars, I would go elsewhere for higher end quality. The have an ok selection, but if your a die hard Martin, Ovation, etc., person, they don't carry anything like that. Their prices on strings are ok...about average. It's not the selection that guitar world has, but you'll find an acceptable selection of Elixers, Martin's and such. Cords, adapters, and accessory selection is pretty good too. Better than most stores in CdA. Prices are fair for the quality. The cords I bought over a year ago are still working great and my stuff gets banged around quite a bit. They carry a nice selection of Yamaha electric pianos and occasionally have a few synths and keyboards. I noticed that they have a nice selection of band instruments and supplies. I lm pretty sure they do rentals too. They do have percussion supplies as well. I'm not a drummer so I can't comment on the quality. The sheetmusic selection is really nice and I have bought quite a few music books here. They carry fake books, compilations, artist songbooks and even instruction books for anyone who wants to teach or learn music. The staff are helpful too. If they don't know the answer to a question, they will find someone else who does. I needed help with some microphone issues and they gave me some advice that fixed my problem. When I bought my kids bass, they bent over backwards to help us with that as well. They offer a wide range of services like music lessons, instrument repair, sound system evalutaion, audio/PA system installation repair, upgrade or will refer you to other audio techs for advice. Overall, my shopping experiences at NW have been very enjoyable and I will keep going back.

You have an opportunity to correct this matter and possibly receive future business from me, otherwise I will tell all my musical associates to avoid NW Music as well as pursue other legal remedies.

I had him work on 4 guitars (total charges in excess of $750), all at once, and all were returned to me unplayable. Problems included dead frets, string buzz, unfinished fret jobs (file marks clearly visible; frets left uncrowned) and, worst of all, neck truss rods so heavily torqued that the necks of my guitars were nearly permanently damaged. If I hadn't immediately taken them to a luthier friend for repairs, I would have lost all four guitars. Frank Trowbridge is a danger to guitar players and their instruments. His philosophy is there is no such thing as action too low -- no matter that the strings buzz against the frets or actually fret out. And he'll torque the neck of your guitar until he gets that super-low action. Any real professional knows their is *optimal* action for any given instrument, no low as it'll go. Frank Trowbridge dominates the conversation that he won't listen to you and your wishes anyway. I told him to actually raise the action on one guitar. "You're crazy!" he yelled; I thought he was joking and would actually do what I asked. But no, he damaged that guitar along with the other three, when all I was asking for, across the board, was some simple intonation adjustments. Beware!
