Honestly, if I could give Malik's Money 4 cars zero stars, I would. His so-called businesses are a…read morenightmare, and not just because their "for sale" cars are barely held together with rust and duct tape. I'm 100% confident that there's some seriously shady stuff going on behind the scenes. To begin, I actually discovered that he is illegally running his businesses out of a "Residential Corporation," which is against all of the corporation's rules and regulations. There are legal issues against him for this and many other reasons. I am a resident of this Residential Private Property and have known Malik for over 2 years now, so I did believe that regardless, I could trust him and couldn't imagine him doing me wrong. Soooo... here we are now! I bought a car from them last month - big mistake. Not only did it break down less than a week later, but when my own professional mechanic looked at it, he found that the VIN had been tampered with. Seriously, tampered with!! He said it looked like it had been swapped from another vehicle. That's not just a bad sale. That's as illegal as it gets, and it made me wonder where this car actually came from. And then there's the "parts" department. While I was waiting for them to "look into" my VIN issue (they were less than helpful, obviously), I began looking deeply into this and other "businesses" that he claims to own in here. I have not only overheard some incredibly suspicious conversations. People were talking about "re-VINing" vehicles and "disappearing" cars. It sounded less like a scrap yard and more like a chop shop. I even saw a couple of guys hauling what looked like very new, high-end car parts in and out of here, definitely not something you'd expect from a place that deals in "scrap." The whole operation felt... off. The staff were cagey, the paperwork was vague, and the general vibe was like they were constantly trying to hide something. I got out of there as fast as I could and reported my current suspicions to the authorities, because honestly, I think Malik's Money 4 Cars and other businesses are involved in something way bigger and darker than just selling junkers. Stay far, far away from this place unless you want to end up with stolen property and a whole lot of legal headaches. After much research and my own investigative work, I have found out that I am not alone in facing criminal issues due to the "VIN" tampering. There are at least 2 others in the exact same situation. There was also a day not all too long ago, that Malik was driving one of his "unusually" very nice cars and was just at the entrance in here, when he was pulled over by several police. They knew that the car he was driving had been stolen and that, yet again, the VIN was changed. He faced charges for this, and they are ongoing. Another fun fact about Malik is that I have just personally been informed that the nickname he carries with Pride is "The Cat King." My own friend from some time ago has informed many people (including me) that she and her boyfriend have been homeless for some time now. Malik preys on the vulnerable and desperate people out there who are trying to survive one day at a time and offers them a "business proposition" they can barely refuse. Provided with his own tools that he gives them, all they have to do is "cut off Catalytic Converters from as many people's vehicles as they can, and are instructed to then meet with him at the carwash right beside this Residential area at which he attempts to run businesses from in the middle of the nights, to retrieve them in exchange for a small amount of money as payment for their help.".... The Cat King! Unfortunately, after doing this for too long now and being carefully investigative by authorities, she has just recently been arrested and received 86 charges for stealing these catalytic converters for Malik!!! I have much more to add with proof and have also been verbally and physically attacked by both Malik and his father at the same time just yesterday for telling him everything I know about him and exactly who he is! Run now!

This week, another technician who repaired the stove pointed out that a plate was not covering the electrical wiring behind the stove's kick plate. So, for four years, my family and I were using a GAS stove with exposed wiring just behind the kick plate. The owner came by today with a "colleague" to "investigate." His colleague admitted that a plate should cover the exposed wiring. Rather than admit this grievous oversight, the owner offered up this absurd explanation: Someone else removed the plate in the four years since the original installation. No one removed the plate. No one. Why would anyone do that? He also claims that he installed a shut off valve. I have asked the TSSA to launch an investigation. Save yourself the risk and trouble my family has unknowingly endured for four years. I urge you to choose another contractor. The owner will no doubt respond to this warning with denials and accusations. You can believe him if you want to but, if you do, you will regret it.
