We didn't have the pay for any deposits before we rented the boat. We stayed in Ithaca so it was a bit of a drive to get to the boat place but it was totally worth it! The prices are so much more reasonable than renting boats on the Cayuga. They operate on Owasco but they said they are willing to drive it to another lake if you do 3 days rental. The day rental is much longer than other places. We rented the boat from 9am to sunset. Most places makes you turn the boats in by 6pm. Totally would rent from them again!
