Apparently the $10 is for just the sides and it's $24 to cut the top too, so it's really $24 for a full haircut, without wash. The treatment did not come out the same, and it felt like a cheaper product or formula was used. The prices are reasonable but not cheap, which I don't mind if the quality is consistent. However, the second experience caused me to lose trust, and I won't be returning. The salon is quiet and reasonably clean, and the service was decent. It's also usually not very busy. I originally chose this salon because of the positive Yelp reviews, but after my experience, I'm not sure they reflect the quality I received.

I asked for single process color and a bang trim. Ming was my stylist and instantly understood what color I was going for, and showed me some color samples as well. Ming and an assistant worked super efficiently, especially given that I have super thick hair. Shoutout to the woman who washed my hair too, it's not uncommon for me to leave other salons with residual soap/dye because my hair is so thick, but she washed it SO thoroughly and it felt great too! I also have to specifically mention the incredible blowout that Ming did so quickly, I got compliments on my hair later that day! He also trimmed my bangs meticulously. The final result was exactly what I was hoping for. The salon is clean and mostly no-frills, but full of stylists who all seem to be excellent at what they do, which is my type of place! The pricing is super reasonable and I would absolutely return.

Maybe they didn't claim the Yelp page and respond to the negative reviews because they already are catering to asian speaking clients. Other than that, the service is phenomenal. Me and my brother were taken care of and had a good experience. We aren't really from the area and the idea that men could have their hair washed in the basins before and after the haircut was very interesting. The hair wash also doubled as a sort of scalp massage and felt relaxing. Our haircuts too were also on point and looking fresh. 10/10 would recommend for a memorable experience!

I told him I wanted to go a bit cooler than my natural brown because I had recently done a color analysis and found out I'm a "cool winter". He even asked if I had any restrictions for work and if I go to the gym and need to tie my hair up.
