My experience with Harris Brothers Piano Movers could not have been any better…read more I was surprising my husband with an antique upright (about 100 years old and about 800 lbs) from Jefferson to East Atlanta. I spoke with around 10 or more professional piano movers and not only was HBPM the most personable, professional and pleasant, they were also the most economical. They were so friendly and accommodating; Relle was wonderful to work with over the phone and spent time addressing all my concerns and answering all my questions. When the movers picked up the piano in Jefferson they even texted me their ETA so I could make sure my husband was out of the house for the surprise. When they got to my house, they moved it up a hill, up our steps and into our living room in about 15 minutes. They didn't scratch, dent or damage a single thing. They were extremely careful and precise with both the piano, my belongings and hardwood floors. I will always recommend Harris Brothers to anyone. They are professionals and you can trust them. I'm so glad I did. Thanks Harris Bros and Relle!

I made the arrangements w/ their office and paid the cost. Our kids are very, VERY happy with the service experience overall; the way this antique 3rd generation instrument sounds, feels, and performs; the professionalism and extremely detailed knowledge Manny exhibited while "on the job." My own piano, a very old upright Kohler Campbell--which ceased production of pianos in the U.S. in 1985--was last tuned 30-35 years ago. My mother studied piano on it from 1940 on, during her growing-up years. It is in tune with itself, but I'll be giving Manny's Tuning by Ear a call very soon so that it "sounds better." This piece is near and dear to my heart and deserves an excellent "tune-up." I can't think of anyone more qualified to restore this heirloom to its original quality of life!

This week, I used Jim's Piano Movers to move a baby grand piano I had purchased from someone in a…read morenearby subdivision, to my house less than 5 miles away. Previous to hiring them, I called 6 other places for quotes and availability to get a good sense of what pricing might be. First off, don't utilize a standard moving company. From the people I spoke with, I didn't get a good feeling that they were knowledgeable on piano moving. Secondly, their rates are far off from those that specialize in moving pianos. Anyways, from the get go, the quote and booking process with Jim and his son was seamless and easy. On piano moving day, Jim and son arrived promptly on time. Once they started going, you could tell they had years of experience in moving pianos. They had to take the legs off, which they did so with ease and delicately. They wrapped up the piano very well and on to the dolly. What's great to see was the attention to detail on where they laid down padding on the floor and around the ramps to get down and over steps and the caution in their movement not to hit or dent anything on the floor and walls. The family we bought the piano from was putting their house up for sale and just had the walls repainted so there was some high concern about hitting them. Let me tell you, I watched like a hawk and not one thing was hit. It wasn't a straight out either, they had to move around and up and down a sunken floor. Once loaded and secured, they brought it over to my house and used the same caution as they brought it in. They set the piano back up and reinstalled the legs and pedals in no time and it was back up and ready to play. Not only are the great movers, but they are highly knowledgeable about pianos. Some of the cool things they pointed about our piano, no one would know if they weren't knowledgeable. If you're looking for someone to move your piano with care and to do it right, you should be calling these guys now to hire them. Next time I have to move our piano, better believe I'll be calling Jim and his son. Trust me, these are they guys you want moving something that valuable.
