A few years later, they helped us decide on a real piano for our home. They worked with our budget and are super knowledgeable. They even did a complementary tuning upon delivery to ensure satisfaction. My younger sister has now moved out of town for college so it has been a year since I last stopped by, but I drove by the other day and felt drawn to leave a review. He proceeded to use scare tactics to try to get to buy from him. Once he learned that I had already made the purchase and I asked for him to tune the piano he refused to send his technicians to tune or look at the piano. Not a good business model. You're better off buying a piano elsewhere and if you're forced to work with them, be very wary of their scare tactics. EDIT: After seeing the owner's response to my google review, I have removed an additional star. Anyone reading this review need not read further than the owner's response to see their attitude towards potential customers. Truly a shame as they have a lot of potential.

When I called the owner, Chris Moore, to discuss fixing the damages he would not stand behind what his employees did even though they signed an acknowledgment when they did it. Now that my company has taken responsibility for fixing the damages and the customer is ready for the piano to be returned they are apparently out of business!! Phone number is disconnected and Chris won't return my emails! They closed without any notification! They didn't call to return the piano to my company or it's actual owner. They have essentially stolen a piano and now my company will have to pay for that as well! Shame on us I suppose for not verifying this company before using them. Stay far away from Chris Moore and Cadenza Piano Movers if they ever re-open!!

In my short time hanging out at Carere Music, I witnessed Jeanne demonstrate her great knowledge of the music business and deal with all sorts of situations with the utmost professionalism: selling and renting good quality musical instruments to eager students, young and old; taking in musical instruments for repairs; helping people find new owners for their musical instruments by selling them on consignment; teaching flute students of all ages, improving their playing on a daily basis. Jeanne obviously has a passion for teaching! After hearing Jeanne's incredible flute sound and impeccable sense of pitch on the piccolo it's no wonder she's first call for all sorts of high level concerts all over the Southeast. My mother played the flute/piccolo chair in the North Carolina Symphony, so I know a world class player when I hear one. The guys took care of the tuba, the billing to school, and helped me load the tuba into my car. Last month I am looking for a specific music book for my son. I used their web form to ask question and the manager responded to all my questions. He had to special order my book. When the book arrived, I received email & voicemail informing me that the book is ready for pickup. Highly recommend the store for their customer service and knowledge.
