    "This jawn SUPA CLEAN. I would lick the floor." Words from my 17 year old daughter after having my car interior detailed. This is actually my second time using Fineline Auto Spa. The first time was back in about 204/2015 with a different car. That first time the cleaning was well done and I was pleased. After neglecting my car for many months I finally decided to get a detailing from here. When I called I did have to leave a voicemail but I actually received a return call from a different number that helped me schedule. I was told there was a cancellation for the same day and I could being my car in immediately. The car was dropped off at about 1:30 and we were told 3 hours. We went to pick it up at 5 and I an once again pleased with the result. You can see before and after photos below.

    Started very optimistic: Great deal on Groupon, place is very close, reviews were fairly good. Made the appointment (they never answer the phone) and after a few calls we were good to go. Rewind to last Thursday. Showed up about 40 mins late, was told it takes 3-4 hours to clean the car... and after literally begging this dude through his guilt trip about how he'd have to stay late (he's not salaried, he still gets paid) he finally agreed to it. I dropped the car off and was told to come back 8-9 hours later. Typo, no, that said 8-9hrs later. I knew the guy would be there late so I even brought him dinner (I run the kitchen) and his response, "thanks man but you still owe me $20 for the 3rd seat." Cool, here's an Amex. "Nah man, the credit card machine is down, I need cash." I don't carry cash, this isn't 1996, so I said I'd come back on Friday. Friday I worked 6-2 so as he called yet again and told me he put his own money in (this makes no sense but will as you read on). I informed him that I headed out a little early and while it's $20 and not hundreds, and I'm walking distance from the shop, I'd come by Monday. Fast forward to today. Let me start by saying my building, being a historic in Germantown, is over a hundred years old and isn't equipped to take on the kind of rain we had last night. Flooding everywhere, ceiling tiles collapsed in, hallways needing to be professionally cleaned. Anthony calls again. "Yo man, what's up, I'm expecting you this morning." "Hey sorry, we had quite the situation at work." "I'm not tryna hear all that, it seems like you duckin me." Lets me honest, first off don't talk crazy to people you don't know. Second as I started to explain "I need to use a card as it's a business car and I need a paper trail." (Anthony) "nah man, I'm going to contact the police". "Calm down, I literally have the card in hand, $20 is not something to start crying about, I just need to, for business sake, put it on a card". "I told you cash as the credit card machine is down man, I'm going to the cops" (4 days later the cc machine is still down?). Lol Let's review... You had me sign the agreement on an Amex supplied clipboard. You want cash because you don't have to report it you scumbag. So let's do this. I have a friend of a friend who is a Chief Auditor for the IRS. Let's make sure they take a deep look into your place of employment and your cash requirements in lieu of posted credit card acceptance. Enjoy the audit chump Apparently the vacuum and spray to get milk off the seat were down too...

    Purchased a Groupon to detail my minivan and from get go had trouble ! Wanted me to return the Groupon and pay direct and when I refused asked me to pay extra because of the size of the vehicle ! The Groupon was for $125 and when I asked for 125 worth of service he said you paid $95 for the Groupon so you still have to pay me extra . Ok fast forward - minivan was left two days and when completed there were so many places where dirt and grime was left (see posted photo for an example)! Then they charge extra for the "taxes" and then additional "$10" for credit card fees !!! Very disappointed ended up paying $40 extra than Groupon value at the business . The quality of detail was no better than what many car wash places offer ! Very poor job . Sorry won't be recommending them to anyone.

    I found Fineline through Groupon, and I could not be more grateful! Here's how it all went down... I purchased my Groupon, made an appointment with Fineline (receptionist was friendly and sweet... and returns calls quickly!), and dropped off my car the evening before they were to complete their work. The next day, I called to check in and see what time I would be able to pick up my car. They were able to make my car look brand spankin' new before close of business that day! David (the owner) and Anthony did the most incredible job on my car. I have to note that I have a one-year old son. You guys can imagine what my car must look like after his milk and his snacks get thrown around during long car rides. My car is surely no longer as clean as it used to be - it required a looooot of cleaning, and these guys made it look like a completely different car! They were even able to lift most of the scratches from my car doors! This was undoubtedly the happiest I've ever been with any service I've ever had done (not even just for my car, but for myself also). I've never seen this high quality of detail in any service... I am beyond impressed!!! There was seriously NO CRUMB LEFT BEHIND! This place is worth every single dollar! A huge thank you and hug to David and Anthony - you guys are unbeatable!

    Dirt still remaining in cracks, it took me just a couple minutes with a tissue to wipe it all down.

    I bought a groupon here and called to make an appointment, but when I got there right on time, they were busy and I still had to wait about 45 min before they could even start my car. They did a good job with the seats and carpet and the door jams especially but I noticed once I drove away that there was still quite a bit of dirt in all the cracks. I felt like they rushed because I waited, vs leaving my car there for the whole day.

I have been trying for months to reach this business by phone, and have not had one phone call returned, despite leaving a couple of messages. I finally decided to try reaching out through Yelp. I thought that I'd finally made some headway, as shortly after filling out the form, I received a response with a list of their services and their prices. But it turns out that was merely an automated system response. Where it gets worse is I responded with the service that I would have liked. . . But crickets. Even though Yelp showed that my message was "Read". I gave them a few days, assuming that they were just busy. But I can't believe that a business can be so busy as to not provide at least an acknowledgement. My final communication was reaching out to thank them for their initial automated response and mentioning that I assume they have no availability. And again. . . crickets. The final straw was the notification that my message on Yelp had indeed been received and "Read", yet still ignored. I really wanted and tried to support this women-owned business, but I am extremely disappointed in their lack of communication. Reply to Business Owner's Response: A quick search of my cell phone's call history shows that I did in fact call the correct number. The screenshot below shows that I have been trying to reach out to you since May 2025. And if you look closer, you will see that each of the icons are outgoing calls. Not one call back was ever received from you, despite the voicemail messages that I left. Additionally, I still have my landline, so a couple of calls were also made using that phone number. However, I don't feel that it's necessary to provide a screenshot of those call records. After my last call of October 28, 2025, I finally reached out to you through Yelp in November 2025, which leads us to this review. Thank you for your response to my review, although I wish that I could have received a proper response outside of this forum. Good luck to you in the future.

    I live in close proximity to this business and wanted to give it a try because of the convenience…read moreand it seems there is always lots of business. I purchased an interior shampoo (detail). I was told the car would be ready in 1 -1.5 hrs. Over 2 hrs later, I called to find out if my car was done. It was close to being done and they offered an exterior wash. Sure. I got one. I picked up my car about 15 minutes later. I must say THE INTERIOR SHAMPOO WAS GREAT (5 stars). My car looked brand new inside. I recommended the company for getting cars cleaned. But, I have a major problem that I am hoping the company will remedy asap. The interior of the car was still damp and the cleaning smell (ammonia) was noticeable so I left the windows open for a few hours. 24 to 48 hours after that I returned to my car to see bubbles (in the form of long stripes) on every one of my tinted windows!! (0 stars) (Pics to come.) The ammonia was used to clean my tinted windows and that can REMOVE tint. I am hoping a $75 interior shampoo and $10 wash does not turn into a $200-300 tint replacement job at another company. I'm seeking a remedy from the company. I've called the company a number of times this morning to no avail (no answer) but I will update this review after I talk with them. UPDATE: The owner contacted me the morning after I post the review. (I had also called and left a message.) After bringing the car in that afternoon for them to assess, they asserted their products did not cause the damage. I explained that this had never happened before. In spite of the disagreement, they removed my old tint within a few days and replaced it within another few days after that. It was inconvenient to have to keep returning but I appreciate their best efforts to remedy the situation. Again, the detailing work was great.

All stains were removed from seats along with pet hair accumulated within the past year from my dogs. Extremely accommodating , fast service, great price , very professional. I will be returning and recommending my friends.
