Comfort Suites - The two queen bed room is pretty large. Ignore the messy beds, we were checking out moments later.

[Updated upon second return, just as good!]…read more We traveled back through and stayed a second time. Keep in mind that it's a road ride budget Choice hotel. It's Platinum rated in 2018 from what I saw which means it's in the top 3% of all Comfort Suites and I can see why. Here is a summary of my experience: Pros: -Inexpensive -Very clean for a budget hotel -Comfy beds -Bathroom is actually big enough to walk in and close the door without standing on the toilet. -Updated and spacious rooms (especially the king), large couch. Plenty of room for two pack-n-plays. -A really good breakfast included -Free WiFi -SUPER friendly staff, especially Theresa -Convenient location right off interstate with plenty of food options -Parking is safe, well lit and spacious. Cons: -Small outdoor pool, not heated, and no hot tub

The room was larger than expected and, most importantly, the beds weren't uncomfortable. Not that it was like sleeping on a cloud, but I wasn't sleeping on a rock either. The room was clean and the price after fees wasn't unreasonable ($134 for the night). Location is great being right off the highway. All of the staff members we interacted with were friendly. The continental breakfast was meh. Only one of the two buffet trays had food in it and the scrambled eggs were very watery. They have plain and cinnamon roll flavored waffle batter, but the cinnamon didn't have much punch to it. The apple juice had little flavor and was almost like drinking water.

My boyfriend and I have made our B&B getaways a tradition over the past 9+ years of our…read morerelationship, and we are always on the hunt for just the right spot to recharge and spend quality time together. As the summer season wrapped up on Labor Day weekend, I am so glad I found Thyme for Bed on bedandbreakfast.com when looking for getaways not-too-far from our Chicago home. Bill and Crystal are the new innkeepers at this unique and cozy B&B in the middle of cornfields and far enough away from the city lights that you feel like your in your own little bubbled respite. And when I say bubble, I mean literally, the giant concrete sphere makes that feeling a bit of a unbelievable reality. Upon arrival, Crystal gave us the grand tour of the one-of-a-kind dome, and we got the inside scoop on lots of details about the structure itself. And while we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Pheasant Room, we can't wait to go back to enjoy a stay in the Santa Fe-esque "In Your Dreams" Master Suite. The beautiful gem-walled walk-in shower power base bed, and huge jacuzzi was more than enough to convince us. :-) Of course, the down-to-earth hospitality of Bill and Crystal were the icing on the cake. We left feeling like a part of the family, and with bellies full of homemade yogurt parfait, delicious fresh peach topped french toast tartlet, and cinnamon scones lingering in our taste buds.

They stayed up until we arrived at 10pm and we chatted with the lovely couple for almost an hour after that- just about life! They were so friendly and easy to talk to, and if we had not been so tired we would have loved to continue talking to them over coffer. We learned a lot of interesting facts about the Dome and that it is the probably the safest place in case of any natural disaster or fire. Our stay was short (just one night) but we would love to come back just to have a more relaxing stay and enjoy the beautiful outdoors around the Dome as well. The room was certainly a fun design and everything was super clean. There was coffee, tea, water, and snacks at the ready right outside our room upstairs, available at any time. We had to wake up and leave pretty early (7AM) the next morning to catch our flight from Chicago and Bill & Crystal both woke up early to see us off. They also made us coffee and orange scones (which were delicious) for the road. We really appreciated their closeness and openness- definitely a must see place and a great B&B. We hope to be back! This is not necessarily a negative but there was ALOT of furniture everywhere. I can see some people not liking this because it does feel as if you are literally in someone else's home- but I thought it made it a little more authentic. The more you got to know the owners, the more fitting it felt.

This place is located on SE area of the I-65 and US-30 junction near the Southlake Mall…read more There are a bunch of hotels in the area, but it is hard to argue with this choice. It was less than $200 and the suite was pretty large (see photos), the kitchen had everything you need, there were 2 tvs one in living room and one in bedroom. Bathroom was huge (see photo). Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was complete with hot food, although both mornings we were there, small complaint, only sausage no bacon. The people of course very friendly and they kept all the food stocked. The fitness room was pretty good for a hotel, not like the Marriott Marquis but still more than adequate. Also attached to the fitness room is a laundry room and it says it is free. You need your own detergent but that seems like a good deal. All in all very good experience.

The sitting area was larger than many of the other Staybridge locations where I have stayed. So it would be a good place for a longer term stay. Breakfast was just ok. Scrambled eggs and Cajun potatoes were hot and fresh but there weren't as many selections as at most Staybridge locations. No cheese, salsa, fresh fruit, cottage cheese, condiments, etc. and the wheat bread was quite stale. This hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and shopping. Many are within walking distance.

It's become a comfortable place for me when visiting back home. I've stayed at great places all over the globe, including a lot of impressive B&Bs (and a few not so impressive!). Arbor Hill Inn is a gem. The rooms are appointed comfortably. They have themes, and from my perspective, are done without being cloying or over the top . The prices are reasonable and the breakfasts are a lovely (and nicely done) way to start the day. The owners and staff are very accommodating and pleasant, and know how to run a place without being intrusive (the house and annex are laid out in a way that one has decent privacy).

From the first phone call, the staff (Chris) accomodated every request from a larger room to a later check in! She was also very helpful in determining realistically how long our travel from Midway would take! While in residence in Uncle Karl's room, we were treated to freshly baked cookies and tasty breakfasts. The wedding party took over the place and the owners didn't seem to mind at all! Great place for a wedding! Upon returning home, my husband realized he left a club on the golf course! The club was located but the course was not helpful in sending it across the country. Never mind, Laura at Arbor Hills to the rescue! With a bit of online coordination, UPS picked up the club and my husband received it in good time and stead. Talk about the extra mile! Don't know when we will be back, but for sure we will stay here again! Thanks for making our stay comfortable!
