Despite her not taking our insurance anymore we were going to be paying out of pocket for XRays, an Extraction, AND Nitrous oxide which would total up to more than $600 in cash. This was no problem for us despite the large amount because we strongly believe in paying for good care. While on the phone the office manager Carol began laughing at my disabled children being sick and barred us from the practice we've been going to for YEARS. This is in the midst of my daughter is having a dental emergency. Why were we barred? We were 15 minutes late due to our disbaled children having a virus, us visitng a Doctor first, and trying to reschedule to ensure the safety of everyone else. Carol's behavior on the phone was nothing short of disturbing and disgusting and I will be filing a complaint with multiple agencies as a result. Edited to add: Carol was laughing about this over the phone before attempting to tell us what she *believes* Dr. Sophie would say. And finally, the crown Dr. Sophie installed failed by cracking in half while my daughter ate a slim jim. This is the only cause of the dental emergency; failed dental work.

Upon arriving, the office seems very clean and fun for the kids BUT.. Looks can be deceiving. One of my children was bitten in the waiting room by another child, one of the dentists broke a retainer in my child's mouth had to order a new one and I was told by her there'd be no charge due to her own mistake, but my insurance was still charged. Upon questioning the charge, the office manager was quite rude and treated me disrespectfully (what a way to represent your office) The work done on each of my 3 children was always very expensive and our out of pocket expense seemed much higher than expected. My children all complained the amount of analgesia used did nothing for their pain during procedures and in return they always feared going back because of this. I feel as if there are times that charges to my insurance were questionable but due to the rude office manager I decided to not question anything. All in all I give this office a 1 star rating because of the price of procedures compared to other pediatric dental offices (I checked around after), the attitude of the office manager, the aggressive children you may have to deal with, and the lack of attempts to make sure the children are as comfortable as possible during procedures. Please be selective in choosing the right office for your children, just because this office is the only one in the area does not mean it's the best. I was even told by my family dentist after my issues that they have had several other patients complain about this office and that they have had many requests to change the referral to another Pediatric office.

What an excellent and skilled dentist!! All of our kids look forward to going to Dr. Davis' office to have their check-ups and cleanings. I admit my standards are high but this past Thursday my expectations were surpassed by Dr. Davis and his staff. If I could give 10 stars I would. I called at 5:00pm and explained that my toddler had an impacted molar and was causing her pain. I asked if there was any way they could squeeze her in the next day due to insurance issues. I was put on a brief hold and when the receptionist came back, she said Dr. Davis said we could come in right then so she wouldn't be in pain over night. Wow! I have worked in multiple offices all over the country and let me tell you, not many providers would do this! When we arrived the front office staff greeted us warmly and the playhouse in the waiting room was an instant hit with my daughter. The wait was minimal; 10 minutes at most. Once in the exam room, the dental hygienists & Dr. Davis were GREAT with my daughter who did not want to open her mouth. They demonstrated patience with her, which I was extremely grateful for. My daughter's tooth ended up not being impacted. I was relieved but oh my, did I feel silly! The staff were extremely kind and said there was no reason to be embarrassed. We will definitely be returning to Dr. Davis' office.
